Abstract

The increasing significance of computers in our daily lives, coupled with the rise of ubiquitous computing, has necessitated effective human-computer interaction. Hand gesture recognition systems have emerged as a real-time video-based solution for detecting and interpreting hand gestures, offering intelligent and natural human-computer interaction (HCI) methods. This project focuses on leveraging human hands as input devices for computer operation. Developed using Python and the OpenCV library, the program utilizes a computer webcam to capture and analyze hand shapes and patterns. The program provides real-time feedback by displaying recognized hand gestures on the live video stream. The ultimate outcome of this project is an application that enhances user experiences in contactless systems. The project recognizes and detects human hand motions using the Python computer language through a process flow that includes background subtraction, hand ROI segmentation, contour detection, and finger recognition. Techniques for processing images are used, including hand gesture detection, pattern recognition, thresholding, and contour detection. The processing of incoming photos and the creation of related keystrokes are made possible by OpenCV, a rich set of image processing tools

Abstract

In both developed and developing countries, education is very important. Developed countries see education as a continuous effort to improve the quality of life of their people. Developing countries, on the other hand, need education to catch up with them in the international arena and be on par with developed countries. From this we know that the national curriculum is very important, it is even considered a measure of learning success. This is proven by the fact that the curriculum in Indonesia, Finland, Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand, Brunei Darussalam, the Philippines, Laos, and so on. This research explores various literature related to curriculum from various countries. The national education curriculum was changed several times after independence. This happened in 1947, 1952, 1964, 1968, 1975, 1984, 1994, 2004, 2006, 2013, and 2020, 2022. In curriculum changes, we can find the best curriculum. The Indonesian education curriculum must emphasize the development of Indonesian human character who has faith and devotion to God Almighty. The curriculum is different in Indonesia and several other countries, but these differences are made to improve education in these countries

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the regional financial independence and effectiveness of North Buton Regency. This research was quantitative. The technique of data collection in this research used secondary data by collecting a summary report on changes to the North Buton Regency Government's Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD). The data analysis technique used a descriptive approach. The research results showed that the North Buton Regency Government was aware that it was still dependent on receiving transfer funds from the central government such as the General Allocation Fund and Special Allocation Fund so that it was hoped that it could maximize the potential for local revenue from the regional tax and levy sector to finance regional expenditure, especially capital expenditure, as evidenced by effectiveness analysis results based on APBD data from 2016 to 2020
