JOURNAL OF HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL STUDIES is a journal that uses a double-blind peer review model that can be accessed online. The purpose of HUMAS JOURNAL is to publish a journal containing quality articles that will be able to contribute thoughts from a theoretical and empirical perspective in society and humanities at a regional, national, and global scale. The writings at JOURNAL OF HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL STUDIES will significantly contribute to critical thinking in the area of society and humanities. The scope of the fields contained in HUMAS JOURNAL covers the following areas: social work, social welfare, social change, and social policy; humanism and human rights; corporate governance, and community studies; crosscultural and multiculturalism studies; economy, management, population and development studies; ethics, and intergroup relations; war, conflict, and international relations; local genius (local wisdom and local knowledge); popular culture; studies of inequality (class, race and gender studies); theology philosphy art literature and other related areas. Articles published on research results and literature review with acceptable research methodologies, qualitative studies, quantitative studies, or a combination of both, statistical analysis, case studies, field research, and historical studies. Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research, can picture stories increase the creativity of students at the age of 4-6 years? This study used the Classroom Action Research method with a success indicator of 85% of the 20 students. The results of the research on student creativity experienced an increase in the first cycle of students who developed very well (BSB) totaling 5 students with a percentage of 25%, while in cycle II it increased to 17 students with a percentage of 85% indicating that the application of picture stories can increase creativity child. This is evident from the results of research which showed an increase in children's creativity with indicators of creative thinking, creative attitude, and creative work during the first cycle of research and the results of cycle II were 85%.

Abstract

Education is a guidance given by adults to immature children to achieve a goal, namely maturity. Educate and education are two things that are related. So that it can be concluded from these opinions that education is a conscious effort, not a haphazard act just so that one becomes an adult who is responsible and independent. This journal focuses on discussing the Education Management Model at SMP BP Amanatul Ummah and Education management strategies at SMP BP Amanatul Ummah. As well as this research is a qualitative study of the literature, namely theoretical studies, references and other scientific literature related to culture, values ​​and norms that develop in the social situation under study. The results of the education management model and management strategy have met the criteria for educational standards.

Abstract

Every tourism company competes to generate large profits by using natural resources and presenting various tourism products. As an industry engaged in the service sector, Room Inc. strives to provide maximum service for its visitors. Each hotel will try to provide added value that is different for each product and service as well as the services provided to its guests. In this study the authors used observation and interview methods. This study aims to produce information that can be useful and complete. Based on the results of research that has been carried out by researchers concluded Rooms Inc BTC Hotel Bandung uses a marketing strategy in its promotion using online and offline media in order to increase sales. Of course online and offline promotions have differences, online sales have higher sales than offline sales. Based on the data and information obtained from interviews and observations, the authors argue that online promotion has a good effect on increasing sales. One of them is promotion on social media, namely Instagram, which works with influencers to increase brand awareness and build interaction with the intended potential consumers, but this must be further enhanced by using influencer approaches and strategies.

Abstract

The low ability of children's art is caused by various things, one of which is limited resources, learning approaches, methods and media used have not fully facilitated children to support children's art learning. To overcome this, one way that can support the achievement of children's visual arts abilities is through finger painting activities. The subjects in this study were 10 students of grade B RA Ihya Al Ulum UIM. Consists of 7 boys and 3 girls, and the age range is 5-6 years. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles and in each cycle two meetings were held. The focus of this research is to improve children's art skills through finger painting activities. Research procedures include planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data collection technique used is observation and documentation. The results showed that children developed very well (BSB) with a percentage in cycle one, which was 40% and in cycle two, it reached 80%. It can be concluded that by implementing finger painting activities, it can improve children's visual arts abilities in children aged 5-6 at RA Ihya Al Uum UIM. This can be seen from the stages of child development from each meeting in both cycles, after the application of finger painting activities in early childhood.

Abstract

The election of the village head is a political activity that shows how the process of democracy occurs in the village. Pilkades cannot be separated from the development of political dynamics that occur in the village. The background to this research is the simultaneous village elections that took place in Blitar district 2022. One of the things studied was in Jeblog village, Blitar district regarding political participation and the economic impact felt by the community from the election of the village head. The results of this study are that there is politics in every election which has become normal for the community and there is no economic impact from the election of this village head, both from the previous government and the one to be elected. Because in this pilkades, the village does not hold large-scale events or campaigns so that the community will not socialize the vision and mission of each candidate and only know word of mouth. .

Abstract

Supervision of learning by the madrasa principal has contributed to improving teacher performance. There are also other factors such as pedagogical competence that a teacher must have, which plays a significant role in shaping the performance of a good teacher. It can shape psychological characteristics that can contribute to the level of teacher performance itself. This study aims to explain: (1) the effect of learning supervision on teacher performance (2) The effect of Pedagogic Competence on Teacher Performance and (3) The Effect of Learning Supervision and Pedagogic Competence on Teacher Performance. This study uses a quantitative approach, by collecting data using a questionnaire. The number of respondents in this study was 49 teachers. While to test the hypothesis used path analysis techniques (path analysis) using multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that: (1) there is a positive and significant influence between learning supervision and teacher performance 0.014, where p <0,05 which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, (2) There is a positive and significant effect between pedagogic competence and teacher performance with a significant value 0f 0,040, where p <0,05 which means HO is rejected and H1 is accepted, (3) there is a positive and significant effect between learning supervision and pedagogic competence on teacher performance with a significant value of 0.035, where p < 0,05 which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.

Abstract

West Java, one of the provinces in Indonesia, with Sundanese nuances that are thick with Islamic law, will affect the psychology of the people. This also affects the vision and mission of organizations and organizational management that prioritizes Islamic values, such as at SMK-IT Al-Kasyaf Sukabumi. Leaders need to understand the things that make employees have a positive perception of the organization. In this case, prophetic leadership as a perfect form of leadership for Muslims because it refers to the characteristics of the prophet. This study aims to determine the relationship between prophetic leadership and organizational culture with organizational commitment in SMK-IT Al-Kasyaf employees. This study used a questionnaire consisting of a prophetic leadership scale compiled by Budiharto, S and Himam, F. (2006), an organizational culture scale and an organizational commitment scale, then analyzed statistically to discuss employee organizational commitment at SMK-IT Al-Kasyaf. The results obtained show that there is a relationship between prophetic leadership and organizational culture with organizational commitment to SMK-IT Al-Kasyaf employees with prophetic leadership and organizational culture contributing 64.6% to the organizational commitment of SMK-IT Al-Kasyaf employees. Abstract

One of the organizations involved in social activities is Rumah Zakat. Rumah Zakat as an organization requires human resources in its management, these human resources are Rumah Zakat volunteers. Volunteers are the key to the success of a Rumah Zakat institution, therefore the need for volunteers is very important for the fulfillment of Rumah Zakat's goals. People who help selflessly and provide benefits to others rather than themselves include prosocial behavior. In prosocial behavior there are several factors that influence it, namely situational factors, helpers and people who need help. The purpose of this study is to find out how prosocial behavior in Yogyakarta zakat house volunteers, to find out what factors influence prosocial behavior in Yogyakarta zakat house volunteers and what dominant factors influence prosocial behavior in Yogyakarta zakat house volunteers. This research uses a quantitative paradigm with descriptive research design. The samples to be used in this study amounted to 25 of the Yogyakarta zakat house volunteers who are currently still actively carrying out volunteer activities. The data collection technique used is the questionnaire technique. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis techniques and factor analysis. The results of research on data analysis and discussion of the factors that influence prosocial behavior in Yogyakarta zakat house volunteers can be concluded that the prosocial behavior of zakat house volunteers is included in the moderate category. factors that influence prosocial behavior in zakat house volunteers consist of the presence of others, environmental conditions, time pressure, personality factors, mood, guilt, distress and empathy, helping people who are liked helping people who deserve help. The more dominant factors influencing prosocial behavior in zakat house volunteers are distress and empathy.

Abstract

This research presents the application of discovery learning model to improve students' character and learning outcomes in thematic learning in class IV of SD Negeri Daya 1 Makassar City. The purpose of this research is to describe the application of discovery learning model in thematic learning in class IV of SD Negri Daya 1 Makassar City, and to know the character of students after the application of discovery learning model in thematic learning in class IV of SD Negri Daya 1 Makassar City. The type of research used is class action research. The time and place of this class action research was conducted in the even semester of the 2023 school year in class IV of SD Negeri Daya 1 Makassar City. This research was conducted on Wednesday, January 12. The research subjects were teachers and students of class IV SD Negeri Daya 1 Makassar City which amounted to 23 people. The implementation procedure in this research is through two cycles consisting of several stages, namely, 1) planning 2) implementation 3) observation, and 4) reflection. The instruments used in this study were teacher and student observation sheets, interviews, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative data analysis. The improvement of students' thematic learning outcomes can be seen in the first cycle of student learning outcomes completeness of 60.86% or a total of 14 students out of 23 students in class IV. B SD Negeri Daya 1 Makassar City can be said to be incomplete and needs to be improved. In cycle II, the completeness of student learning outcomes was 100% or a total of 23 students out of 23 students. This research can be concluded that the application of the discovery learning model can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of marketing through social media at UMKM Moikafood Cimahi with a qualitative research approach. MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) have played an important role in local economic growth, and the utilization of social media as a marketing tool has become an increasingly popular strategy for MSMEs to reach potential customers. This study was conducted using a qualitative research method involving in-depth interviews with Moikafood MSME owners and several members of the marketing team who are responsible for social media utilization. In addition, participatory observations were also made to understand marketing practices carried out through social media platforms.
