JOURNAL OF HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL STUDIES is a journal that uses a double-blind peer review model that can be accessed online. The purpose of HUMAS JOURNAL is to publish a journal containing quality articles that will be able to contribute thoughts from a theoretical and empirical perspective in society and humanities at a regional, national, and global scale. The writings at JOURNAL OF HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL STUDIES will significantly contribute to critical thinking in the area of society and humanities. Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is a marker of scarring (inflammation) in the human endometrium that occurs during endometrial and menstrual periods. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of pilates exercise on dysmenorrhea pain in young women at Pondok Putri Sabilul Hasan. This research method used a pre-experimental design with a one grub pre-post test design. Total population of 28 respondents with total sampling technique. The results of the study were obtained from the results of the statistical test pvalue = 0.000. this shows that pilates exercise affects minorore pain which decreases pain during menstruation as seen from the results of the statistical value test 0.00 <0.003. It can be concluded that pilates exercise can reduce dysmenorrhea pain so that in future research it is expected to be able to examine other factors that affect dysmenorrhea and increase the number of samples, so that research results can be maximized.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of computer-based learning in improving Indonesian language skills at Cokroaminoto Sukaresmi Senior High School. Computer-based learning has become a significant trend in education, including language learning. This method offers various advantages, such as interactivity, accessibility, and flexibility of time and place. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to Cokroaminoto Sukaresmi SMA students who had attended a computer-based learning program for Indonesian. The collected data were analyzed statistically using descriptive techniques. The results of the study show that computer-based learning has a significant role in improving Indonesian language skills at Cokroaminoto Sukaresmi Senior High School. Students reported improvements in their abilities in various aspects of language such as vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, and writing skills. They also expressed high satisfaction with the use of this method in learning Indonesian. Computer-based learning at Cokroaminoto Sukaresmi Senior High School can provide an interesting and effective learning experience for students. With its interactive features, students can engage in interactive exercises, simulations and assignments designed to improve Indonesian language skills. In addition, the flexibility of time and place offered by computer-based learning allows students to study according to their individual needs and preferences. In conclusion, computer-based learning has a positive role in improving Indonesian language skills at Cokroaminoto Sukaresmi High School. This learning can provide an interactive, effective, and fun learning experience for students. Therefore, it is suggested that this approach should continue to be used and developed in the context of learning Indonesian in high school to optimize learning outcomes and prepare students to face increasingly complex global demands in today's digital era..

Abstract

This research is about full day school management in improving the character of students at Al Amin Sidoarjo Islamic High School. This study aims to describe the management of full day school in improving the character of students at SMA Islam Al Amin Sidoarjo. This type of research is qualitative research. Which includes interviews, observations and documentation. Data sources are taken from interviews, observations and documentation with principals, vice principals for curriculum, teachers and students. The result is that full day school management can improve the character of students at Al Amin Sidoarjo Islamic High School well. Starting from planning, organizing, implementing to supervising. In full day school there are learning activities, integrated curriculum and learning time. This certainly can improve the character of students with 5 characters applied, namely religious, independent, integrity, nationalist and gotong royong. The benefit, of course, is that full day school management is able to improve the character of students at Al Amin Sidoarjo Islamic High School.

Abstract

Cholesterol is the most important amphylactic layer in regulating membrane permeability and fluidity, and is also the outer layer of plasma lipoproteins. This research aims to determine whether cupping therapy and acupuncture therapy are more effective in Condong Village, Gading District, Probolinggo Regency. This type of research is pre-experimental with a two group pre-post design. The population of all elderly people suffering from cholesterol in Condong Village, Gading District, Probolinggo Regency was 60 respondents. The sample was determined using a random sampling technique which met the criteria of 36 respondents. The instruments used are cupping tools and acupuncture tools as well as aesy touch. Data processing using Editing, Coding, Scoring and Tabulating processes, then analyzed using the paired t test. The results of this study show the average value of reduction in cholesterol levels that occurs after cupping therapy and acupuncture therapy. in cholesterol sufferers for pre-post cupping it was 6.05 while the acupuncture therapy intervention was worth 3.65. analysis test results using the paired t test. Cupping therapy is more effective than acupuncture therapy for cholesterol sufferers in Condong Village, Gading District, Probolinggo Regency, ( -valeu = 0.000 < α = 0.05). Cupping therapy and acupuncture therapy are effective therapies for lowering cholesterol levels and is recommended especially for people with cholesterol levels

Abstract

The development of tourism on former mining land through sustainable development communication strategies is the subject of this study. The study focuses on Kampung Reklamasi Selingsing in East Belitung, where the local BUMDes works to attract both local and foreign tourists by utilizing the potential of the reclaimed land, such as the panorama. The study uses qualitative methods, including observation and interviews with BUMDes and PT Timah Tbk. The results show that BUMDes Selinsing has made various efforts to develop Kampung Reklamasi Selingsing as a tourist destination, including working with PT Timah to manage and develop the area with the concept of agro-edu tourism. Additionally, BUMDes Selinsing has improved the quality of facilities and services in the tourist area and is involved in the management of the Kampung Reklamasi Selingsing tourist area. The sustainable development communication strategy in the development of tourism in Kampung Selinsing involves collaboration with private parties, government agencies, and non-governmental organizations to obtain greater support and investment. The management of the area is sustainable, and the income from the tourism sector is used for sustainable development and the development of a more attractive area.

Abstract

TDE simulation is a simulation that is carried out by playing role plays by all participants to solve problems related to the management of disaster victims on a three-dimensional table board media so that knowledge and skills in disaster emergency response can increase through analysis of problem solving contained in previously created scenarios. . The research method used in this research is One Group pre test and post test design. The sampling technique used was proportionate random sampling for all teenagers according to the inclusion and exclusion sample size of 79 respondents. The Wilcoxon test results showed a p value: 0.000<0.05. This shows that there is an influence of the Tabletop Disaster Exercise (TDE) simulation on flood disaster emergency response readiness among teenagers in Siwalan Hamlet, Kedungdalem Village, Dringu District, Probolinggo Regency.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the characteristics of income and cost behavior, procedures for accounting records in households and study the problems and obstacles in preparing household bookkeeping in Kotarana Village, Khlongmai sub-district, Yarang Regency Province,Pattani Thailand. The respondent analysis technique used was 74 people who had a fixed income. The analysis technique in this research is an interview using a questionnaire regarding knowledge of home bookkeeping stairs using statistical testing with frequency, mean and standard deviation. The research results show that the majority of respondents have a fixed income, an average of 4,001-10,000 bath with expenditure flat-average is 4,001-10,000 bath. Recording Household accounting is carried out to record income and expenses on a weekly basis. Factors that cause problems and obstacles in preparing household bookkeeping for the people of Kotarana Village. Most of the people of Kotarana Village experience problems in preparing themselves, namely having many responsibilities that are not continuous recording Household accounting and consistently lack of experience and complexity in household bookkeeping result in people wasting time and not being able to memorize income items that occur everyday. Knowledge The lack of understanding and resources for further studies to record household bookkeeping means that most farmer groups do not own continuous household bookkeeping records.

Abstract

The sago forest ecotourism program in Negeri Rutong has developed into a form of tourism that can conserve nature and empower the community. Sago forest ecotourism in Negeri Rutong is one of the more specific forms of ecotourism and as a tool to realize sustainable tourism development, where the village government / Negeri Rutong and local communities have control over development and management so that many benefits both economically, socio-culturally, and benefits to the conservation of the natural environment. Sago forest ecotourism in Negeri Rutong finds its significance as a protection tool against environmental, economic, social and cultural impacts arising from tourism development. In terms of the environment, the development of sago forest ecotourism provides income for conservation areas and is also able to reduce negative impacts on protected natural resources. If explored carefully, sago has multi-functions and multipurpose. So that the people of Rutong with their local knowledge and sago tradition fully participate in supporting government policies to manage and preserve sago sustainably.

Abstract

Domestic violence, including physical, sexual, psychological, and neglect violence. Domestic violence often occurs due to an unbalanced relationship between spouses, influenced by various factors such as the wife's basic education, husband's religiosity, infidelity, and husband's personality. Domestic violence can also occur due to unhealthy behaviors such as smoking or drinking, husband's personality disorder, low economy, and also the influence of marital status factors. Victims of domestic violence are often women and children. Domestic violence has significant negative impacts, including impacts on the physical and mental health of victims, as well as social and economic impacts. Domestic violence can also disrupt harmony in the family and society. Addressing domestic violence involves various parties, including law enforcement and government and non-government organizations. Legal protection for victims of domestic violence includes assistance in reporting cases, as well as providing criminal sanctions for perpetrators. However, there are still many obstacles in handling domestic violence, including the reluctance of victims to tell the full story and incomplete files. In addition, many domestic violence cases are not handled in accordance with the Law on the Elimination of Domestic Violence and are only handled through mediation. Therefore, this study emphasizes the importance of raising public awareness about domestic violence and the need for effective solutions to prevent and deal with domestic violence.

Abstract

Informatics media is needed as a support in education in elementary schools, for various purposes including learning media. Besides being used for learning media, information technology can also be used to develop knowledge. and Implementation of the National Assessment is a government program in implementing ANBK (Computer-Based National Assessment) which was rolled out by the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) program. AKM preparation activities are carried out in schools and for the implementation of a Computer-based National Assessment with the option of Online mode or Semi-Online mode with the need for infrastructure, one of which is a computer or laptop and adequate internet network. The ANBK program aims to be able to expedite AKM activities which are designed to produce information that triggers quality improvements that can capture fundamental competencies in various subjects in grade five. Based on the results of a study on the implementation of the Computer-based National Assessment with the option of Online mode or Semi-Online mode at Durajaya Curugkembar Public Elementary School, Sukabumi Regency, it can provide an overview by forming the competency and personality of students regarding Teachers as Learning Agents, Teacher Roles, Implementation of National Assessments, and Use Informatics Media
