Abstract

The rapid growth of culinary businesses has intensified competition among restaurants, making customer feedback and consumer satisfaction increasingly important in shaping purchasing behavior. This study examines the effect of customer review and consumer satisfaction on purchase decisions at a fried-chicken restaurant branch in Makassar, Indonesia. A quantitative associative approach was applied using primary data collected from 172 respondents through an online questionnaire measured on a five-point Likert scale, drawn through purposive sampling from an estimated population of 300 regular customers. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression following validity, reliability, and classical assumption testing. The results show that customer review and consumer satisfaction each have a positive and significant partial effect on purchase decisions, and jointly exert a significant simultaneous effect, although together they explain only a modest share of the variance in purchasing behavior. This indicates that other factors, such as price, promotion, and service quality, also play an important role. Restaurant management is advised to encourage satisfied customers to post positive online reviews and to maintain consistent product and service quality, while future studies are encouraged to broaden the sample and incorporate additional variables for a more comprehensive model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of digital promotion strategy through social media and public trust on the interest in using goods financing products at a Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) in Timbuseng, Gowa Regency. A quantitative associative approach was applied, with a sample of 133 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using an online Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed with multiple linear regression, preceded by validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The results show that digital promotion strategy and public trust simultaneously exert a positive and significant effect on the interest in using the financing product, evidenced by an Fcount of 2625.330 (p < 0.001). Partially, digital promotion strategy (tcount = 12.209; p < 0.001) and public trust (tcount = 6.036; p < 0.001) each have a positive and significant effect, with digital promotion strategy being the more dominant predictor. The two variables jointly explain 97.6% of the variance in interest in use (R2 = 0.976). These findings suggest that BUMDes management should improve social media content quality and maintain transparency to sustain public trust, thereby increasing community interest in using village-based financing products.

Abstract

This study explores career resilience among Generation Z employees facing role transitions at CV. Bahari Tirta Utama Kediri, a medium agribusiness company undergoing digital transformation. Using an embedded single case study with Yin's (2018) protocol, empirical evidence was gathered from five key informants via interviews and passive observation. Findings indicate that Gen Z's career resilience is highly heterogeneous, determined by prior experience and cognitive appraisals. The study identifies four role transition dimensions: technical, quantitative, qualitative, and socio-communicative. We construct the original Telu Tangkis Model, integrating Career Construction, Job Demands-Resources, and transactional coping theories. Results demonstrate that informal organizational support (empowering leadership, intergenerational mentoring) and family support exert a stronger moderating influence than formal structures in SMEs. Theoretical novelty lies in the socio-communicative transition dimension and the tri-factor loop within the model. Practical recommendations for SMEs include formulating digital communication boundaries, job crafting workshops, and structured intergenerational mentoring.
