Abstract

Islam has a positive attitude towards economic activity. The more Muslims are involved in economic activities, the better if the goals of the process are consistent with Islamic teachings. Becoming an entrepreneur is a solution to the financial problems of Muslims, especially the high poverty rate. The main factors in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that are of concern are marketing strategy, customer satisfaction, production and distribution, and price changes. This research aims to determine the marketing strategy carried out by one of the strengthening MSMEs in Batu Bara. The research method uses qualitative methods with an approach using qualitative descriptive methods. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation to obtain real data in the field of marketing. The analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of this research are that in carrying out the marketing strategy for Dimsum Karimah, which is a pioneer of MSMEs in the Batu Bara area, it uses a marketing mix (Product, Price, Promotion, and Location). The products sold are quality, prices match the quality, promotions with the arrival of the ball, providing testers and social media assistance. And its strategic location. The Islamic marketing strategy is to apply the principle of justice, and the principle of honesty by not comparing the product with other dim sum products, maximum service, and not doing things wrong in setting prices and promotions. In increasing sales of dimsum karimah, namely by maintaining the quality of its products which have been proven to be halal, carrying out promotions assisted by the social media Instagram. It is hoped that the implementation of the marketing strategy can set an example for other MSMEs, not only is margin a priority but good service can make consumers continue to choose Dimsum Karimah as a place to buy snacks in the Batu Bara area.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the motivation used to increase employee productivity at LPP RRI Medan and the efforts made by organizations or companies to motivate their employees. The research results show that LPP RRI Medan provides motivation to its employees in two ways, namely materially and non-materially, but when implemented, it is inconsistent in providing work motivation to its employees. This incident resulted in many employees who were not motivated to do their jobs well. Efforts taken include not being too harsh in criticizing and correcting employees, for example, when an employee makes a mistake, the head of the company should reprimand them properly and direct the employee to make improvements. Then often carry out controls during working hours so that employees feel cared for and they feel motivated by the presence of the head of the company or organization. This study uses a qualitative method. Research is carried out directly in the field or object where all data is collected by observation and interviews.

Abstract

In an organization or institution, stereotypes that state the dominance of men as leaders are still very strong, but women's leadership has begun to emerge since the issue of human rights and gender equality was voiced loudly by feminist activists. In general, the potential that women have as religious, social, and cultural individuals is not much different from the leadership potential of men. The importance of understanding good and correct leadership models. This research aims to determine the role of women's leadership in developing organizational culture. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach and the data obtained in this research are the results of interviews, observations, and literature studies which are then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. It can be seen that women are also able to act as good leaders, no less good than men's leadership, while the leadership role of women in an agency or organization is also very large and has a positive impact. especially in developing culture in organizations, not only that, women's leadership can also think rationally and conditionally, and better understand environmental conditions and atmosphere, so the role of women's leadership in developing organizational culture is also as someone creative, innovative, and able to bring progress. Leadership in developing an organization or agency is not only a man, but a woman can also be a leader in developing a good and correct organization.

Abstract

Islam conceptually recognizes waqf organizations as resources that offer long-term benefits. Due to its good management, waqf contributes significantly to improving the quality of life of the community. Waqf has an important role in helping the implementation of education. Muslims learn more easily when they have waqf. Thanks to waqf, students who study Islam do not need to have a high financial burden, so both those who can and cannot afford it have equal access to education. To meet the needs of the community in the fields of religion, clothing, food, shelter, education, economy, health, and security, waqf seeks to build long-term and reliable financial flows. To achieve the pleasure of Allah SWT, waqf also seeks to uphold brotherhood and instill the ideals of solidarity and social solidarity.

Abstract

In life in the world of work, there must be things that are contrary to the performance of employees in their work. Of course, there is still something strange when working that immediately does not support the values of a job, with human resources having a very important role and needs to be given serious attention. Employees or employees as human resources are very vital in improving the performance or even progress of an organization. This research was conducted to determine the extent of the influence of human resource development on employee performance in the business support section of PT Sucofindo Medan Branch. The results of research conducted in the business support section of PT Sucofindo Medan Branch where with the interview method to the office employees, the researcher got a result, which turned out by all means and development of human resources in this office such as training, evaluating and improving performance made human resources in this office better. By using qualitative methods through interview techniques with employees in the business support section of PT Sucofindo Medan Branch, it is expected that the data received will be reliable and have good value. In addition, researchers also improve by looking for several references from previous studies so that the results made will be even better content.

Abstract

Earthquakes are a natural phenomenon that often occurs in Indonesia due to the interaction of tectonic plates. Indonesia's geography, which meets four of the world's tectonic plates, makes it prone to earthquakes. Preparedness in dealing with disasters is important, especially in schools as education and awareness centers. Children, as rapid learners, can be agents of change in shaping hazard awareness and disaster preparedness. This study aims to understand the opinions of the PMI Jumbara committee about disaster preparedness, describe the definition of disaster preparedness, and analyze factors related to earthquakes. Through a qualitative approach and interviews with five members of PMI's Jumbara committee, the results highlight actions to be taken during and after the earthquake, explain the factors that cause earthquakes, and strengthen the urgency of preparedness in facing disasters in Indonesia. In conclusion, preparedness and understanding of the right action during an earthquake are important in reducing the adverse effects of natural disasters.

Abstract

This research aims to increase sales of fashion products such as sandals, flat shoes, and heels from the Koaki Medan brand from an Islamic perspective. The results of this research show that fashion sandals, flat shoes, and heels products from the Koaki Medan brand carry out a digital marketing strategy using two methods, namely by utilizing social media and using e-commerce such as Shopee from an Islamic economic perspective. By using this strategy, it is easy for businesses or entrepreneurs to introduce their products to their target market. The method used in this research is a qualitative method by observing through social media a local brand from Medan, namely the brand name Koaki. This research also uses previous research related to the required research problem. This method helps researchers answer the problem topic being researched.

Abstract

In entrepreneurship, there are various creativity and innovation, one of the things before running a hero needs to learn management activities, such as planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. One of the entrepreneurship in question is school uniforms, during the COVID-19 era there was a decline in the economy, especially school uniforms. But with this, entrepreneurship is developing into the digital world. This research takes the issue related to school uniform entrepreneurs during COVID-19, whether to open sales using digital media or not. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methodology, with case study and interview methods. In marketing in the digital era, there are several things used in social media, namely; collaborative projects, content, and sausage networking sites. In addition, terms of the entrepreneurial industry, especially uniforms can use social media to improve several things such as digital marketing and marketing. By. As a result of the study, out of ten speakers about school uniforms, 3 out of 10 school uniform entrepreneurs wear advice in the digital age and the rest do not, with the opinion that they have collaborated with certain schools to create school uniforms.
