Jurnal Riset Mahasiswa Bidang Teknologi Informasi "BIMASAKTI". Abstract

The management of correspondence and monthly reports in educational administration environments still faces efficiency issues due to workflows that do not align with user needs and insufficient attention to usability aspects. These conditions result in suboptimal performance and low effectiveness in the use of digital systems. This study aims to analyze the usability of the web-based SIRATU application using the User-Centered Design (UCD) approach in accordance with the ISO 9241-210 standard. The research method includes analysis of the context of use, user identification, interface design, and usability evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS). The study is limited to the primary users of the SIRATU application, namely administrative staff, school operators, and the head of the district education office, with a focus solely on usability aspects. The evaluation results show an increase in the average SUS score from 60.6 to 87.4, which falls into the excellent category. The contribution of this study lies in the application of a UCD methodological framework that has proven effective in improving the usability of the SIRATU application.

Abstract

The Ministry of Communication and Information with all its diverse society requires overlapping in terms of equalizing services, especially in terms of data information. The problem is caused by inaccurate data information so that the asset data used as the basis of the data affects the data information received which does not match the field conditions. The running of data processing so far is still based on technicalities that tend to be conventional so that a capable system is needed to accommodate the problem. By using a mixed method, this study uses Human Centered Design as the basis for designing an application design called SIHARKEPO (Basic Needs Price Information System). This study will later focus on two main problems, namely the SIHARKEPO user interface design process and the analysis of users of the Basic Needs Price Information System (SIHARKEPO) in providing data information to users. The results of this study are concrete applications that can be applied to the process of providing basic needs price information data services and make it easier for the public to obtain them.

Abstract

State Vocational School 11 Malang is a school that uses technology and information. Administrators have the duty to monitor and understand the condition of the school network. The problem when the administrator is outside the local network or public network. The administrator needs remote access to access the server or application safely without data leakage. VPN provides security by encrypting internet traffic. PPTP, L2TP, OpenVPN are VPN protocol options that can be used to connect between different networks. In this research, testing was carried out between these protocols to find out which one has the best performance and the ability to maintain the confidentiality of the data and information stored in it.

Abstract

Cloud computing has become a fundamental technology driving digital business innovation in the Industry 4.0 era. This research aims to analyze the impact of cloud computing on digital business innovation in the context of modern industrial transformation through a comprehensive literature study. The method used is a literature study with a descriptive analysis approach to various reference sources relevant to cloud computing, digital transformation, and Industry 4.0 topics. The research results show that cloud computing has achieved an 85% adoption rate among manufacturing companies as one of the top five Industry 4.0 technologies. Cloud computing transforms traditional business paradigms through the transformation from capital expenses to operational expenses models with pay-as-you-go systems, resulting in a 22% improvement in new product time to market and a 21% reduction in lead times. This technology enables democratization of access to advanced infrastructure and facilitates convergence with emerging technologies such as IoT, AI, and machine learning. Nearly 90% of companies now adopt multi-cloud strategies to optimize performance and operational resilience. The conclusion of this research is that cloud computing serves as the main catalyst for digital transformation that enables companies to create connected, agile, and innovative business ecosystems to remain competitive in the Industry 4.0 era.

Abstract

How does text summarization work in reviewing the Tokopedia application Google Play Store How to implement the text rank algorithm in doing so text summarization in the Tokopedia application review on Playstore. Measuring accuracy and the performance of the text rank algorithm in text summarization in the Tokopedia application review in google playstore How effective is the textrank algorithm when used for text summarization A framework is a structure used to help researchers or thinkers in compiling and understanding information systematically.collect data by scraping data on Google Collab, scraping data, Observation is a data collection method by observing events. The data collection method used in creating this system was literature study. Literature studies are carried out by processing information related to manufacturing system, making notes sourced from library materials. Evaluation results using ROUGE shows that this method is effective in extracting important information from the review, allowing to produce a summary that relevant and informative with a recall accuracy value of 93.78%. results in summarizing text in reviews Tokopedia application on the Play Store. By building a weighted graph from matrices cosine similarity based on TF-IDF vector representation.

Abstract

This study compares the performance of the Decision Tree and Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) algorithms in classifying HIV/AIDS infection status. A quantitative experimental design was employed using a secondary dataset of 2,139 records and 23 attributes obtained from an open-source platform. Data preprocessing included checking for missing values, removing duplicates, detecting and handling outliers with the Interquartile Range (IQR) method, and applying feature scaling. The models were trained and tested with three data split ratios (70:30, 80:20, and 90:10). Evaluation metrics comprised accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score derived from the confusion matrix.The results show that XGBoost achieved the highest performance, reaching 99.16 % accuracy, 98.17 % precision, 99.16 % recall, and 99.16 % F1-score with a 90:10 data split. In comparison, the Decision Tree achieved a maximum accuracy of 95 % with an F1-score of approximately 95 % under the same conditions. These findings confirm that XGBoost consistently outperforms the Decision Tree in accuracy and generalization across all data-split scenarios. This research concludes that XGBoost is more suitable for developing data-driven decision support systems for HIV/AIDS infection detection.

Abstract

The Personnel Information System (SI PAWANG) in Ngajum District was developed to make it easier to manage personnel data digitally. The aim of this research is to assess SI PAWANG using two methods, namely the System Usability Scale (SUS) and Heuristic Evaluation (HE). The SUS method is applied to measure user satisfaction through questionnaires distributed to employees who use the system. The evaluation results show that the SUS score for SI PAWANG is 69.85, which is included in the "C" (fair) category, and is in the "OK" category in the trait assessment. This value shows that the application is marginally acceptable in the acceptance range, with a percent rating in the range of 41 – 59. In addition, the Net Promoter Score (NPS) shows that the user is in the Passive category. DIA evaluation involves expert assessments to identify usability issues based on ten interface design principles. The HE results revealed the presence of several usability issues, with the majority categorized as “Minor Usability Issues,” indicating potential difficulties for users in using the system. Based on the results of the SUS and HE evaluation, improvements are needed in aspects identified as usability problems. The recommendations include improving the user interface, use of navigation, and providing more effective documentation and help to improve the user experience.

Abstract

Social media has become an integral part of modern society, offering a platform for public opinion expression. In Indonesia, volleyball is a very popular sport, and Volley Ball Indonesia is the main topic of discussion on social media, especially Twitter. This study aims to analyze the sentiment of netizen comments on the official Twitter account of Volley Ball Indonesia (@volleyball.indonesia) using the Naive Bayes method and Support Vector Machine (SVM). The data used amounted to 2,920 comments from 50 posts in the period of September 28, 2023 - May 10, 2024, focused on the U-23 and Senior Men's National Team matches. Naïve Bayes and SVM were chosen because both are effective methods in sentiment classification. Naïve Bayes uses a probabilistic approach, while SVM looks for the best hyperplane to separate data classes. The results of the study show that both methods can be used to analyze sentiment with a good level of accuracy. The test results on each training data and testing data with different presentations will provide different accuracy results. The test results of the Naive Bayes method obtained the highest accuracy value of 71% with a ratio of 70:30 and the Support Vector Machine obtained the highest accuracy value of 76% with a ratio of 80:20. So it can be concluded that the Support Vector Machine method gets a higher accuracy value than the Naive Bayes method.
