Abstract

University of Logistics and International Business (ULBI) by using ticketing features and integrated networks. The focus is on enhancing the efficiency of event planning and execution within the ULBI campus environment, as well as improving participation and transparency. Ticketing features are integrated to synchronize timing and facilitate participant access, while an integrated network is implemented to enhance communication and reduce barriers during planning. By employing software design methodology and action research, this study analyses user needs, expectations, and designs ticketing features and integrated networks. It is hoped that this design will significantly contribute to improving event management within the campus environment, creating a platform that is not only efficient but also capable of enhancing student engagement and information transparency. In conclusion, this proposal provides a foundation for designing technology that can enhance event management at ULBI campus.

Abstract

Economic growth is crucial for emerging economies, yet the sustainability of this growth must consider its environmental impact. The Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) hypothesis suggests that while economic expansion initially worsens environmental degradation, it can ultimately lead to environmental improvements as income levels rise. This study reexamined the EKC hypothesis in a selected of countries from the Next Eleven (N-11) group. Using a random effects model regression, the analysis examined the effects of gross domestic products, financial market development, institutional quality, and environmental technology on CO₂ emissions. The findings supported the EKC hypothesis, indicating that economic growth initially increased environmental degradation but eventually contributed to improved environmental outcomes. Financial market development was associated with lower CO₂ emissions, suggesting that robust financial systems may promote eco-friendly investments. In contrast, environmental technology exhibited a positive effect on CO₂ emissions, potentially reflecting an early adoption stage were technology increases emissions. Institutional quality did not show a significant impact on CO₂ emissions. Several recommendations were provided balancing economic growth with environmental sustainability. Keywords: Carbon dioxide emission, Environmental Kuznets Curve, Environmental Technology, Financial Market, Institutional Quality.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of mobile push notification design elements on user engagement, utilizing machine learning to derive actionable insights. By analyzing a dataset of over 700 million notifications from an e-commerce platform, the research evaluates the influence of three key features: the presence of emojis, deadlines, and subject line length. A logistic regression model was employed to identify the features most strongly associated with high engagement, defined as notifications receiving over 1,000 opens. The findings reveal that the inclusion of emojis significantly enhances engagement rates, achieving a 91% success rate compared to 20% for notifications without emojis. While deadlines slightly increased engagement, their effect was not statistically significant when examined in isolation. Subject line length demonstrated no consistent influence on engagement. However, a synergistic combination of emojis and deadlines yielded the highest engagement rates at 100%, emphasizing the value of integrating visual and psychological triggers. This study underscores the potential of machine learning in optimizing mobile push notification strategies, offering practical recommendations for businesses to refine their digital marketing efforts. These findings contribute to the growing body of literature on user engagement and provide a foundation for future exploration of notification design and effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of blockchain technology in enhancing global market access for local MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise) products, identify key barriers to its adoption, and formulate implementation strategies tailored to the needs and capacities of MSMEs. The research employs a qualitative case study approach based on a literature review. Data were obtained from academic journals, reports, and policy documents related to blockchain, MSMEs, and international trade. Analysis was conducted using content analysis methods, supplemented by source and theoretical triangulation to enhance the validity of the findings. Blockchain technology has proven capable of supporting MSME products in entering global markets through product traceability, supply chain efficiency, and cross-border payment systems. The challenges faced by MSMEs include low technological literacy, high implementation costs, and inadequate regulatory frameworks. Recommended implementation strategies include improving technological literacy, providing subsidies for blockchain adoption, and developing adaptive regulations. This study contributes by offering a strategic framework for MSMEs to adopt blockchain technology and serves as a reference for policymakers and business stakeholders in fostering an innovation ecosystem that supports the global competitiveness of MSMEs.

Abstract

The main objective of this study was to assess the effect of communication quality and trust on behavior change, which supports the information system of health workers in public health centers through the mediating variable of readiness for change. Data were collected from 341 health workers working in public health centers in Indonesia through enumerators as data collectors. The statistical procedure is divided into descriptive analysis using SPSS 25 and structural equation model using bootstraps using Smart PLS 3.2.9. Structural Equation Model analysis found several results. The results positively affect the quality of communication, trust, willingness to change, and support for behavior change. In addition, the study readiness to mediate changes in communication quality and trust in supporting behavior change. Therefore, this study shows that the quality of communication and trust is significantly associated with behavioral changes that support the mediation readiness for change in health workers in East Java, Indonesia. The main question of this study is to assess the effect of communication quality and trust on behavioral change that supports the information system of health workers at public health centers through the variable of mediation readiness for change. Research has been conducted to answer this research question. It has been empirically proven that the quality of communication and trust affects changes in supportive behavior with and without mediation. We believe that the quality of communication and trust due to the combined effect of readiness for change produces behavioral changes that favor more than the quality of communication and trust itself.

Abstract

In the increasingly complex and dynamic digital era, cybersecurity risk management has become a critical aspect affecting the operations and sustainability of organizations. This study examines the practice of cybersecurity risk management from the perspective of organizations that have obtained ISO 27001 certification, an international standard that sets the criteria for information security management systems (ISMS). The focus of this research is ISO 27001, one of the world's leading information security standards. This study explores the meaning of ISO 27001, risk management, and the process of implementing this certification within organizations through a literature review. Findings indicate that the implementation of ISO 27001 has a significant impact on the organization's awareness of information security management. The implementation process of ISO 27001 includes a series of steps and approaches designed to help organizations effectively manage cybersecurity risks. This study highlights the importance of implementing ISO 27001 into cybersecurity risk management practices to enhance information security and prevent cyberthreats. The study also evaluates the level of organizational awareness of the ISO 27001 standard and its impact on the implementation of cybersecurity risk management practices. Our findings show that organizations with ISO 27001 certification have a higher awareness of the importance of cybersecurity risk management, thereby supporting the implementation of more effective risk management practices. Thisstudy aims to provide insights and practical guidance for organizations in applying and utilizing cybersecurity risk management according to the ISO 27001 standard. Therefore, this research contributes to the enhancement of awareness and the implementation of better information security standards in thecurrent digital era.
