Abstract

Absenteeism has a significant impact on work productivity in achieving organizational goals, especially in government organizations that provide services to the community. The aim of creating this WEB-based online attendance is to make it easier for employees to fill in attendance and increase their disciplinary attitude and make the attendance results obtained more detailed and orderly. Since the waterfall technique is a structured and methodical approach to developing information systems, each step must be completed in the correct order. The methodology is based on the five processes of the waterfall method: analysis, design, testing, implementation, and evaluation. Increasing the precision and effectiveness of attendance monitoring is one advantage of implementing the Waterfall approach when creating a web-based employee attendance information system. Having a web-based attendance information system can help employees take attendance effectively and improve the previous attendance system.

Abstract

This research is intended as an effort to evaluate the impact of an organization's profits and retribution costs which are recognized as being related to the tendency of foundation organizations listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange to avoid costs during the 2018-2022 period. Seven companies were selected as samples from a total of 67 companies using a purposive sampling approach technique. This research was tested using descriptive statistical techniques, examination of classical assumptions, and multiple linear regression analysis to test the research hypothesis. The results of the t-test statistical test indicate that there is a mathematically significant correlation between tax avoidance practices and the level of profitability, with a significance level of 0.004. However, there are no significant implications of the existence of deferred tax expenses on tax avoidance practices, as reflected at the significance level of 0.110. By referring to the results of the coefficient of determination analysis, it can be proven that profitability and simultaneously, deferred tax expenses have a significant influence on tax avoidance strategies, reaching 23.3%. Abstract

Life insurance is a promise from the insurance company (insurer) to its customer (insured) that if the customer experiences the risk of death in their life, the insurance company will provide compensation. The amount of money paid by the insured to the insurer, the amount of which has been determined, is called the premium. The premium paid by the policy holder (insured) will be allocated by the insurance company for compensation or benefits which will be returned to the insured. In this study, simulated data was used to see the comparison of life insurance premiums at the end of the year of death and at the time of death. The results of this study conclude that the premium value of insurance compensation payments at the end of the year of death is smaller than the premium value of insurance compensation payments at the time of death.

Abstract

In calculating premiums based on claim size data obtained from motor vehicle insurance companies, it can be calculated using the Poisson and Gamma distributions. Where in this research, calculations will be carried out on data obtained through research studies and case studies in the form of data on the number and amount of claims from 2011 to 2014 obtained from the official website of the Financial Services Authority. Based on the data collected, there were 59,926,962,942 claims. For the record, find the premium per person every month and year by dividing the premium by the number of life insurance claims from 2011 to 2014, namely 59,926,962,942 claims. The calculation results show that using the moment method with the Poisson-Gamma distribution if the premium is calculated using the pure premium principle, namely 1.25129×106 in a month or 1.5015536893×107 in a year.

Abstract

The problem of household waste is the responsibility of all parties, including the village government and the community itself. In the implementation of the waste management program in Kemantren Village it has not been effective and efficient so an evaluation of this program is needed. This research aims to evaluate the household waste management program in Kemantren Village, Tulangan District, Sidoarjo Regency. The type of research is descriptive qualitative by collecting data using observation and interview techniques. This research uses a program suitability model by David Korten. The results of the research show that the problem of household waste in Kemantren Village has not been resolved optimally, so a household waste management program has been implemented since 2018 by the village government. This waste management program includes collecting and transporting waste using three-wheeled trucks and operational costs come from mandatory monthly fees. based on the program suitability model by David Korten that the household waste management program in Kemantren village is not running effectively and efficiently because there is a mismatch between the elements of the waste management program and the capacity of human resources in implementing this waste management program.

Abstract

Teachers are an important resource in supporting the teaching and learning process. The quality of teachers needs attention because it determines the quality of the teaching and learning process. This research aims to create a system that is able to classify performance as Very Good, Good, and Fair as seen from Pedagogical Competency, Personality Competency, Social Competency, Professional Competency using Naive Bayes Classifier calculations. Implementation of the Naive Bayes Classifier classification using numerical calculations. Based on a dataset divided into 80 training data and 20 testing data, the final test calculation achieved an accuracy level of 85% with precision results of 60% then recall of 57.14%. After carrying out calculations and obtaining test results, they will be distributed into the system using PHP and MySQL which are designed to carry out teacher performance assessment classifications. The prediction results obtained from the system are consistent with the results of manual calculations. Based on the research conducted, the system developed can be implemented in a way that makes it easier to evaluate teaching effectiveness.

Abstract

Pasuruan City will enter an aging population. One of the programs carried out is senior smart in increasing knowledge. Activities are accelerated using the senior smart application. Objective: Knowing the relationship between the use of the Senior Smart application and the level of knowledge of students of Pasuruan City's resilient elderly school. Research Method: This type of study used a cross-sectional research design with a sample of 150 elderly school students in Pasuruan City. The implementation of activities from August to September 2023, data was collected by questionnaire and analyzed by spearmen test. Results: 100% utilization of senior smart applications, knowledge level in high category as much as 97.3%. The spearmen test results show p-value = 0.045 and correlation coefficient value of 0.164. Conclusion: There is a relationship between the use of senior smart applications and the level of knowledge of resilient elderly school students in Pasuruan City
