Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Democratic Leadership, Motivation, and Work-life Balance on Employee Performance at Purbasari Pancuran Mas Educational Tourism Park. Data were obtained from 108 respondents through questionnaires, and processed with the help of Smart PLS and multiple linear regression analysis. The research findings prove that democratic leadership and work-life balance positively and significantly impact employee performance. However, motivation has no significant effect on performance. This study reveals the importance of leadership style and work-life balance in improving employee performance, while motivation due to other unidentified factors. The company is advised to strengthen the implementation of democratic leadership and programs supporting work-life balance, while reevaluating its approach to employee motivation to identify other factors that may affect performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of job satisfaction and perceptions of the work environment on turnover intention, with organizational commitment as an intervening variable, among employees of PT.X in the mining industry located in South Kalimantan Province. The study involved a total of 260 employee respondents. The sample was selected using simple random sampling. Data collection was conducted using four scales: turnover intention, organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and work environment perception. Data analysis was performed using the SmartPLS 4.0 program (2024). The results of the study indicate that job satisfaction significantly influences turnover intention, as evidenced by a p-value of 0.000<0.05. Perceptions of the work environment also significantly influence turnover intention, with a p-value of 0.029<0.05. Organizational commitment significantly affects turnover intention, with a p-value of 0.000<0.05. Furthermore, job satisfaction significantly influences organizational commitment, with a p-value of 0.000<0.05, and perceptions of the work environment significantly affect turnover intention, with a p-value of 0.000<0.05. The role of organizational commitment as a mediating factor is evident in the relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intention, showing a significant influence when mediated by organizational commitment. Similarly, organizational commitment mediates the relationship between perceptions of the work environment and turnover intention, demonstrating a significant effect among employees.

Abstract

                This study aims to analyze the influence of economic freedom and macroeconomic factors on economic growth in 30 countries during the period 2013-2022. In this context, Economic Freedom (EC) is measured using the economic freedom index which includes aspects such as trade freedom, regulation, and fiscal policy. Meanwhile, the macroeconomic factors studied include Inflation (INF), International Trade (PI), Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Population Growth (POP). The data used in this study are secondary, obtained from international sources such as the World Bank and the Heritage Foundation's Index of Economic Freedom. The analytical method applied is panel data regression to test the relationship between these variables and economic growth as the dependent variable. The results of the study show that economic freedom significantly affects economic growth, where countries with higher levels of economic freedom tend to have better economic growth. In addition, macroeconomic factors such as International Trade, FDI and Population Growth were also found to have a positive impact on economic growth, while Inflation has a negative impact because every country wants a low inflation rate. This research makes an important contribution to the understanding of the factors that influence economic growth, as well as the application of economic policies that can be implemented by countries with varying levels of economic freedom

Abstract

This study provides an analysis of the role of financial performance in the profit-sharing rate of mudharabah deposits at Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia by measuring financial performance through Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO), Non-Performing Financing (NPF), and Return on Assets (ROA). Additionally, the study evaluates the role of Bank Size as a moderating variable in these relationships. Using a quantitative approach, the study involved 8 Islamic Commercial Banks as samples during the 2019–2023 period. Data analysis was conducted using the Moderated Regression Analysis method to examine the direct effects of independent variables and the moderating effect of Bank Size. The findings reveal that BOPO does not have a significant impact on the profit-sharing rate of mudharabah deposits. However, NPF and ROA were found to significantly affect the profit-sharing rate. Furthermore, Bank Size was proven unable to moderate the relationship between BOPO, NPF, and ROA with the profit-sharing rate of mudharabah deposits.

Abstract

issue that affects the welfare of the local community. Even though Palopo City has experienced several developments, the Wara region still faces significant challenges related to unequal distribution of income, access to education, health and infrastructure. This article aims to analyze the factors that cause inequality, its impact on society, and efforts that can be made to reduce this gap. The main factors causing inequality in Wara include limited access to education and skills training, limited economic opportunities in the informal sector, and underdeveloped infrastructure. The impacts of this inequality include increasing social inequality, hindering sustainable development, and worsening poverty levels. To overcome this problem, increasing access to education, equitable infrastructure development, local economic empowerment and efforts to eliminate social discrimination are needed. With collaborative efforts between the government, the private sector and the community, it is hoped that economic and social inequality in the Wara region can be reduced, bringing positive impacts to community welfare and inclusive development.

Abstract

The usage of both foreign and domestic capital is balanced in capital structure. When it comes to managing business finances, capital is crucial. The purpose of this study is to investigate how business risk, profitability, and investment choices affect the capital structure of automobile businesses that are listed between 2019 and 2021 on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Purposive sampling, a technique for selecting object samples based on predetermined criteria, is the approach employed. Up to ten automakers are listed on the IDX, which is the number of samples according on the criterion. Multiple regression tests are used by the data analysis tool. The tiny number of automotive businesses in this study is its restriction, which leads to less than ideal outcomes.

Abstract

This research analyzes the main determinants that influence North Sulawesi's exports to European Union countries in the 2017–2023 period. Using a quantitative approach and panel data analysis, this research identifies the influence of factors such as Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita of export destination countries, inflation rates, and currency exchange rates on export performance. The research results show that GDP per capita and inflation have a positive and significant influence on exports, while the exchange rate shows an insignificant negative relationship. The main commodities exported include coconut products, fisheries and spices, with the Netherlands and Germany as the main trading partners. This research recommends product diversification, improving quality, and optimizing infrastructure to strengthen the competitiveness of North Sulawesi export products in the international market.

Abstract

Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) is a state-owned bank (BUMN) that has customers spread throughout Indonesia, from big cities to remote villages. The problem that has occurred at Bank BRI lately is that there are still customers who are dissatisfied and there are complaints about the m-banking service on the BRImo application launched by Bank BRI. The purpose of this study is to analyze the quality of m-banking services based on customer satisfaction and complaints at Bank BRI work units on the BRImo m-banking application, to determine the effect of M-Banking Service Quality on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction on the BRImo m-banking application, to determine the effect of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty on the BRImo m-banking application, and to determine the impact on customer loyalty based on the effect of M-Banking Service Quality on customer satisfaction. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method by distributing questionnaires and collecting secondary data. In order for the research objectives to be met, calculations were carried out using the simple linear regression analysis method. The dimensions used for testing simple linear regression are the dimensions of M-Banking Service Quality. The dimensions of M-Banking Service Quality consist of convenience, security, ease, design and application system.

Abstract

Kampung Inggris Semarang Training Institute (LKP Kampung Inggris Semarang), as a formal educational institution recognized by the Semarang City Department of Education, faces complex issues, including those related to employee performance. Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) is expected to be one solution to these problems. This study aims to analyze the culture of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) among employees at LKP Kampung Inggris Semarang. The research uses a qualitative approach that is descriptive in nature with a case study method. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and document study. Data analysis techniques involve data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study show that the Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) of employees at LKP Kampung Inggris Semarang is built on five dimensions: altruism, conscientiousness, sportsmanship, courtesy, and civic virtue. The performance of employees at LKP Kampung Inggris Semarang meets five performance indicators: work quality, work speed/accuracy, work initiative, work ability, and communication. Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) plays a role in improving employee performance, as reflected in the behaviors of employees at LKP Kampung Inggris Semarang. These five dimensions of OCB are shaped by internal factors (job satisfaction, organizational commitment, personality, morality, and motivation) and external factors (leadership style, trust in leadership, and organizational culture).

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of economic growth on the open unemployment rate, the effect of economic growth on the poverty rate, the effect of the open unemployment rate on the poverty rate and the effect of economic growth on the poverty rate through the open unemployment rate in Manado City. The data used in this research is secondary data with an observation period of 10 years, namely 2014-2023, obtained from the Manado City Central Statistics Agency. The analytical method used in this research is path analysis. The results of the research show that economic growth has a negative and insignificant effect on the open unemployment rate, economic growth has a positive and significant effect on the poverty rate, the open unemployment rate has a positive and significant effect on the poverty rate and economic growth has a positive effect on the poverty rate through the open unemployment rate as a variable intervening.
