Abstract

The Covid pandemic had a negative impact on the MSME sector. Moreover, after COVID-19, MSMEs are facing the problem of rising prices, so they need additional capital to survive. The National Zakat Amil Agency (BAZNAS) of Makassar City, through its productive assistance program, is helping MSMEs to recover and improve their welfare as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic obtained from Zakat, Infaq, and Alms funds. This research aims to analyze the distribution of ZIS funds carried out by BAZNAS Makassar City and see the effectiveness of ZIS funds in restoring the mustahik economy after the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Determining the data source for respondents was carried out purposively. The results show that the distribution of ZIS funds after the pandemic is similar to during the pandemic. It's just that aid recipients have increased compared to after the pandemic. Distributing Zakat, Infaq, and Alms funds through productive assistance programs could be more effective in developing post-pandemic mustahik businesses.

Abstract

Economic inequality between regions in Indonesia is still a major challenge, especially between Java, which is the center of the economy, and other regions such as Papua, Maluku, and Kalimantan, which are experiencing delays in development. This inequality is caused by several factors, such as centralized development policies, lack of infrastructure in certain regions, and high dependence on natural resources. This study aims to identify the causes of such inequality and offer solutions that can reduce the gap between regions. The approach used in this research is qualitative analysis by examining data related to economic growth, poverty rates, and the distribution of development between regions. The results show that inequality is mostly influenced by imbalances in investment and government attention to regions outside Java. Proposed solutions include decentralizing development, improving infrastructure in underdeveloped regions, and encouraging economic diversification to create more equitable opportunities. This research is expected to provide useful insights for a more inclusive development policy, so that all regions of Indonesia can develop sustainably and more equitably.

Abstract

                The aim of this research is to develop an increase in halal industrial areas by creating new entrepreneurs through the distribution of productive zakat which is integrated with sharia financial institutions as a further  integrated business development with business assistance partners. This research metode is qualitative with primary data through in depth interviews with sharia banking players, the sharia microfinance industry, academics, zakat institutions and business actors. Primary data was obtained through sharia banking product brochures and zakat institutions. The research results show that the development of halal industrial areas needs to be supported by various parties. In the aspect of providing initial capital for underprivileged people (poor poverty criteria) it is carried out by zakat amil institutions but it is not enough from zakat institutions alone, synergy is needed with sharia financial institutions souch as sharia banking and sharia microfinance institutions and also business partners/business (business consultant) for the success of distribution so that the halal industry continues to develop.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of financial literacy, spiritual benefits and income on investment decisions among young people in West Halmahera Regency, Jailolo District. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The number of respondents in this research was 50 respondents with an age range of 23-35 years. The objects of this research are young people who live in Jailolo subdistrict, West Halamahera Regency who have active worker status. The sampling technique in this research used purposive sampling. The research results show that the financial literacy variable has a significant influence on investment decisions. So, it can be concluded that a person's understanding or high level of financial literacy will increase a person's investment decisions to invest. Spiritual benefits have a significant influence on investment decisions so that understanding a person's religiosity will provide spiritual benefits by avoiding several things that are haram and prohibited by religion. The income variable also has a significant influence on investment decisions so that a person's income becomes a benchmark for the size of a person's investment and also becomes a factor for someone to invest.

Abstract

The use of digital technology to collect waqf funds responded to the widespread use of digital technology in daily life. Generation Z and millennials, familiar with digital technology, are targeted for online waqf collection. However, the berkahwakaf.id platform is considered insufficient in fostering waqf intentions among these generations. One theory explaining the determinants of intention is the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA). This research aims to determine the effect of waqf literacy and TRA on waqf intentions using berkahwakaf.id. The independent variable TRA includes attitudes and subjective norms, adding waqf literacy as an additional variable. This research is associative quantitative with a non-probability sampling technique, purposive sampling. The population consists of Generation Z and millennials in Serang City, with a sample size of 100 respondents obtained through a Likert scale questionnaire. The findings show that waqf literacy has a positive but not significant influence on waqf intentions, meaning changes in waqf literacy do not significantly affect waqf intentions. Attitude has a positive and significant influence on waqf intentions. So, a more positive attitude towards waqf using money increases the intention to donate. Subjective norms also significantly influence waqf intentions. The greater the external influence, the higher the waqf intention. Simultaneously, all independent variables have a positive and significant impact on waqf intentions via berkahwakaf.id, with an influence size of 51.6%, while the remaining 48.4% is influenced by unobserved variables.

Abstract

 Technological developments have brought major changes in various aspects of life, including the way businesses market their products. In the food industry, technology acts as a catalyst that accelerates and expands the reach of sales promotion strategies using social media and so on. TikTok is one of the most popular platforms and is used by almost all groups, making it very possible to use it as a promotional medium. This research aims to analyze the relationship between TikTok promotional strategies, consumer buying interest and increased sales of Boss Mochi. The data collection technique used is observation. The population used was 50 people who had seen promotional videos on TikTok and made purchases at Bos Mochi. The data collection technique is carried out by giving a set of questions in the form of a questionnaire to respondents to answer. This research was conducted on Jl. Tuasan No. 180, Sidorejo Hilir, Kec. Medan Tembung, Medan City, North Sumatra 20371. From the results of the test discussion above it can be concluded that the variables of TikTok Promotion Strategy and Consumer Purchase Interest with Increased Mochi sales are interconnected and have a positive relationship with each other. The conclusion is based on this research that TikTok promotion strategy has a positive relationship positive and significant with an increase in consumer buying interest, which ultimately has an impact on increasing sales of Bos Mochi products

Abstract

                The manufacturing sector in Indonesia, particularly in the automotive cable and component industry, is facing significant challenges, as reflected in the declining Purchasing Manager’s Index (PMI), indicating a contraction in production activities. To remain competitive, managing production process quality becomes essential, especially in improving supply chain performance. This study examines the application of Six Sigma in the copper busbar production process at PT. X, focusing on reducing supply chain costs through enhanced process quality management and waste reduction. Using the DMAIC approach (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control), this research analyzes copper busbar production data, including defect rates and associated costs before and after improvements. The results show that Six Sigma implementation successfully reduced defect rates, particularly scratch defects, from 7.32% to 0.01%. Additionally, this improvement contributed to a reduction in supply chain costs, with total savings amounting to IDR 3,421,168,671, covering reductions in manufacturing, administration, warehouse, and capital costs. These findings demonstrate that Six Sigma can significantly enhance efficiency and effectiveness in copper busbar production, while positively impacting overall supply chain costs. The study also recommends further research to more thoroughly explore distribution and installation costs in the supply chain context.

Abstract

Islamic hedging is one of the instruments in financial management used to reduce risks associated with price and currency movements. Muslim economists, in offering mainstream hedging reform by removing the elements of shari'ah violation and incorporating shari'ah contracts into it. However, have the elements that cause hedging to be prohibited been thoroughly eliminated. This noble cause of Islamic hedging has been misunderstood for profit only. Therefore, the concept of Islamic hedging needs further discussion due to various interpretations of the meaning of Islamic hedging. To obtain answers to this research, the author uses qualitative research with the type of inferential library research. The results of this study, in simple terms, can be concluded that the application of Islamic hedging that has been implemented in the Islamic financial system is in accordance with the provisions, both the provisions of the Fatwa DSN-MUI, PBI and DPS.

Abstract

PT. Gizindo Pratama Semarang is a company engaged in the trade and production of cow's milk, goat's milk, and soy milk. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of compensation, work environment, and work motivation on employee performance at PT. Gizindo Pratama Semarang. The sampling technique in this study used nonprobability sampling, which is a sampling technique that does not provide equal opportunities or chances for each element or member of the population to be selected as a sample. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 25 software. The results of the study indicate that compensation, work environment, and work motivation have a positive effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the influence of work flexibility, digital leadership, and work-life balance on employee commitment, with mental well-being as a mediating variable. This study was conducted on BTN Bank employees in KC Bangkalan Regency using a quantitative approach. Data was collected through questionnaires from 50 respondents and analysed using regression tests and Sobel Test to test the mediation effect. The results showed that work flexibility, digital leadership, and work-life balance have a positive and significant influence on mental well-being. In addition, mental well-being has a significant influence on employee commitment and mediates the relationship between the three independent variables and employee commitment. Digital leadership provides the largest mediating effect compared to work flexibility and work-life balance, confirming the importance of the leader's role in supporting employees' mental well-being in the era of digital transformation. The findings imply that Bank BTN can improve employee commitment by implementing work flexibility policies, supporting work-life balance, and strengthening digital leadership competencies. This research also contributes to the human resource management literature by offering a new perspective in supporting employees' mental well-being as a strategic factor in increasing organisational loyalty.
