Abstract

TikTok has evolved not only as a platform for entertainment and information but also as a marketing medium with great potential to reach a wide audience. This study aims to analyze the influence of price, content marketing, viral marketing, and live streaming shopping on the online purchasing decisions of Generation Z in the Jabodetabek area through the TikTok application. The research method used is a descriptive quantitative approach. The sampling technique employed is non-probability sampling, specifically purposive sampling. Using Hair's formula, a total of 210 respondents were obtained as the sample. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires using a 1–5 Likert scale to Generation Z individuals residing in Jabodetabek who are TikTok users and have previously made purchases through the platform. Data analysis was conducted using SEM-PLS, processed with SmartPLS 4 software. The results of the study indicate that the variables of price, content marketing, viral marketing, and live streaming shopping have a positive and significant influence on the online purchasing decisions of Generation Z in the Jabodetabek area through the TikTok application.

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of transformational leadership, motivation, career development, and work environment on employee performance, using job satisfaction as a mediator. We used the cross-sectional method to obtain quantitative data through an online questionnaire. We obtained all demographic data from 108 employees of BUMN XYZ Tahuna who had worked for at least one year. The data obtained was analyzed using SmartPLS software. The results demonstrate a positive correlation between transformational leadership, motivation, career development, work environment, and job satisfaction with employee performance. However, transformational leadership and work environment do not show a significant relationship, either directly or with employee performance, even when mediated by job satisfaction. This research yields managerial implications that can assist BUMN XYZ Tahuna in improving employee performance. This research has several limitations, followed by suggestions for future research.

Abstract

Export and import activities are one of the activities that greatly influence economic activities in a country, but in its sustainability there are several risks and challenges that must be faced by importers and exporters, especially in transaction activities, a country and financial institutions have a role to reduce the risk, one way is by using a Letter of credit, therefore the purpose of this study is to find out how the review of Legal Maxim on Letter of credit transactions contains several risks and benefits in its sustainability. This study uses field research and is included in library research where Legal Maxim is the main method in reviewing the risks and benefits of letters of credit. The results of this study indicate that in import and export transactions it is permissible to use it if it is necessary for business actors and if it causes many benefits to the community, but in terms of the risks faced, the state, financial institutions and business actors have a very large role in minimizing the occurrence of these risks in the sustainability of Letter of credit transactions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Economic Learning Media Development course on students' creativity as pre-service teachers in the Economic Education Study Program at Sriwijaya University, class of 2022. This research employs a quantitative approach with a causal associative method. Data collection techniques include questionnaires and interviews, with validity testing using the product-moment correlation and reliability testing using Cronbach's alpha formula. Data analysis includes normality tests, linearity tests, and hypothesis testing using simple regression analysis and the coefficient of determination. The results indicate that the Economic Learning Media Development course significantly influences students' creativity as pre-service teachers, with F_calculated ≥ F_table (61.544 ≥ 3.94), leading to the rejection of H₀ and acceptance of Hₐ. The obtained regression equation is Y = 35.424 + 0.679X, meaning that each one-point increase in variable X will increase variable Y by 0.679. The coefficient of determination is 40.34%, indicating that this course contributes to students' creativity, while 59.66% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of emotional intelligence on students' critical thinking skills in economics learning for class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Mesuji Raya. The research method used is quantitative with an ex-post facto approach. Data were collected through questionnaires to measure emotional intelligence and tests to assess critical thinking skills, then analyzed using simple linear regression. The results showed that emotional intelligence had a significant effect on critical thinking skills, as evidenced by F_count ≥ F_table (36.078 ≥ 4.13), so H₀ was rejected and Hα was accepted. The regression equation (Y = 0.0095 + 0.4532X) shows that every increase in one emotional intelligence score contributes to an increase in critical thinking skills by 0.4532. The coefficient of determination of 52.23% indicates that emotional intelligence has a significant effect on critical thinking, while the remaining 47.77% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of financial literacy, lifestyle, and financial technology on financial behavior in students of Universitas Buana Perjuangan Karawang. The method used is quantitative research with a descriptive verification approach, involving 100 students of Universitas Buaan Perjuangan Karawang as a sample taken through purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through online questionnaires and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that financial literacy and financial technology have a positive and significant effect on financial behavior, while lifestyle has no effect on financial behavior. The results of financial literacy, lifestyle, and financial technology simultaneously have an effect on financial behavior with a determination coefficient showing 40.6% of the variation in financial behavior is influenced by the three independent variables. This study concludes that improving good financial behavior is from the level of understanding of financial literacy and the proper use of financial technology. This study implies that students can be wiser in managing finances, planning expenses, and avoiding excessive lifestyles, as well as expanding knowledge about investment to achieve higher financial literacy and good financial behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of perceptions of spiritual leadership and perceptions of organizational commitment on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) with job satisfaction as an intervening variable at PT APF. This research was motivated by the gap between the initial questionnaire data which indicated a high level of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), and the interview results which indicated the existence of employees with low organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). The research method used is quantitative, with data collection through questionnaires and interviews. The research sample was 112 employees of PT APF. Data analysis was carried out using multiple regression analysis with SmartPLS 4.0. The research results show that perceptions of : 1. Spiritual leadership influence organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). 2. Perceptions of organizational commitment influence organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). 3. Perceptions of spiritual leadership influence job satisfaction. 4. Perceptions of organizational commitment influence job satisfaction. 5. Job satisfaction influences organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). 6. Perceptions of spiritual leadership influence organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) through job satisfaction. 7. Perceptions of organizational commitment influence organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) through job satisfaction. The implication of this research is that it is important for companies to pay attention to spiritual leadership and organizational commitment to create a positive work environment to increase employee job satisfaction, which will ultimately have an impact on increasing employees' extra-role behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of Islamic financial literacy of the Tinatar Village community and identify the factors causing the low adoption of Islamic financing products, viewed from the perspective of maqashid sharia. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews and participatory observations of 15 informants. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis methods and measured based on five indicators of Islamic financial literacy according to OJK, namely financial knowledge, financial skills, financial beliefs, financial attitudes, and financial behavior. The results of the study showed that most informants were in the Less Literate and Not Literate categories. The main factors influencing low literacy include lack of education and socialization, limited access, and the influence of culture and education levels and the dominant preference for conventional products which are considered easier and more familiar. The perspective of maqashid sharia shows that these conditions do not fully support the realization of protection for religion (ḥifẓ al-dīn), soul (ḥifẓ al-nafs), reason (ḥifẓ al-‘aql), descendants (ḥifẓ al-nasl), and property (ḥifẓ al-māl). Therefore, an integrated education and social intervention strategy is needed with the values of maqashid sharia, involving community leaders, sharia financial institutions, and an approach that is appropriate to the culture and context of rural communities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of pocket money and hedonistic behavior on debt risk among students of the Management Study Program, Universitas Buana Perjuangan Karawang, class of 2021. The method used in this study is quantitative with a quantitative descriptive. The population in this study amounted to 412 students, with a sample of 80 students selected using the simple random sampling method. Data were collected through online questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis tests. The results of the study show that the pocket money variable does not have a significant effect on debt risk. This indicates that the amount of pocket money students receive, both large and small, does not directly affect their decision to go into debt, because it is more influenced by how students manage their money. Conversely, hedonistic behavior has a significant influence on student debt risk, encouraging students to consume excessively for personal pleasure without considering financial ability, thereby increasing the tendency to go into debt as a way to fulfill this lifestyle. Thus, hedonistic behavior has a dominant role in increasing debt risk among students, especially when it is not accompanied by wise financial management. The R-Square value of 0.511 indicates that 51.1% of the variability of debt risk can be explained by two independent variables, namely pocket money and hedonistic behavior, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside the study model

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial inclusion and education on behavioral decisions to use the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) among Management students of Buana Perjuangan University, Karawang, class of 2021. The study used a descriptive quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires from 80 respondents selected using the simple random sampling method. The analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression. The results of the study showed that financial inclusion had a significant influence on QRIS usage behavior. This indicates that adequate access to financial services and knowledge of financial products increase the decision to use QRIS. Education was also shown to have a significant influence, where students' understanding of digital transaction security and involvement in educational programs encouraged confidence in using QRIS. Simultaneously, both variables contributed 46% to behavioral decisions to use QRIS. The implication of this study is the need for educational institutions and financial service providers to improve digital financial literacy through structured educational programs and expand access to financial services. This step is expected to support the adoption of QRIS and a more inclusive digital transformation of finance
