Abstract

Employee turnover is a strategic issue in human resource management because it affects the continuity, stability, and achievement of a company's operational performance. This study aims to analyze the effects of KPI implementation and workload on employees’ turnover intention at PT Cemerlang Hajar Aswad Tour & Travel Gresik. This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 40 employees as the research sample. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 26 through t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination analysis. The findings reveal that KPI implementation has a negative relationship direction but does not have a significant effect on turnover intention. Meanwhile, workload has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention, indicating that an increase in workload may raise employees’ intention to leave the company. Simultaneously, KPI implementation and workload do not have a significant effect on turnover intention. The coefficient of determination (R Square) value of 9.2% indicates that KPI implementation and workload explain only a small proportion of the variation in turnover intention, while the remaining variation is influenced by other factors outside the research model. This study provides practical implications for the company to improve workload management and evaluate performance measurement systems in order to support employee retention.

Abstract

This study examines the long-run determinants of Islamic fintech asset (AFS) growth in Indonesia using quarterly data from 2019Q1 to 2025Q4 (T=28) within the framework of ARDL bounds testing. The model includes macroeconomic proxies (inflation, BI interest rate) and indicators of Islamic social capital (Sharia Financial Literacy Index, ILKS; Sharia Financial Inclusion Index, IIKS). The unit root test confirms integration of order I(0) or I(1). The bounds test (F=30.172) rejects the null hypothesis of no cointegration, thereby establishing a stable long-run equilibrium. The error correction rate (ECT=−0.6114, p<0.001) indicates that 61.14% of short-run imbalances are corrected within one quarter. ILKS is the only statistically significant long-run determinant (β = +0.0148, p = 0.040), whilst macroeconomic variables and IIKS exhibit effects that are theoretically consistent but not statistically significant. Residual diagnostics and the CUSUM test confirmed the model’s validity across the three macroeconomic phases. These findings position the growth of Islamic fintech as a phenomenon driven by social capital, implying that financial literacy policies are more effective than monetary policies for the sustainable expansion of the Islamic financial sector (AFS).

Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven transformation in the financial system, including within the Islamic finance sector. In this context, Islamic financial literacy and financial inclusion are important factors that can enhance public participation in the formal financial system and support economic growth. However, the levels of Islamic financial literacy and financial inclusion among the public remain relatively low, which may hinder the optimal contribution of Islamic finance to the economy. This study aims to analyze the impact of Islamic financial literacy and financial inclusion on economic growth in the digital era. The research employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS software. The data were collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents who met the research criteria. The results show that Islamic financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on economic growth, indicating that increased public understanding of Islamic financial concepts and products can encourage more productive economic activities. Furthermore, financial inclusion also has a positive and significant effect on economic growth, suggesting that broader access to formal financial services contributes to increased economic activity. The findings of this study indicate that improving Islamic financial literacy and expanding access to financial services, particularly through digital financial technology, can serve as an important strategy in promoting more inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of consumer protection in ferry services using fishing boats to Pandang Island, Batu Bara Regency and review it from the perspective of maslahah mursalah. This study uses an empirical juridical method with a statutory, empirical and conceptual approach. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, documentation involving ferry service managers, service users, and related parties and documentation studies by reviewing, examining, and analyzing various documents related to the research object to obtain relevant data. The results of the study indicate that consumer protection has been implemented through the provision of life jackets, safety briefings, fare transparency, and attention to weather conditions. However, the implementation is not optimal due to limited safety facilities, the unavailability of life jackets for all passengers, lack of supervision, and the potential for excess passenger capacity. Viewed from the perspective of maslahah mursalah, this ferry service is basically permissible because it provides benefits to the community and the local economy. However, deficiencies in safety aspects have the potential to cause harm that is contrary to the objectives of sharia, especially hifz al-nafs and hifz al-mal. Therefore, it is necessary to improve safety standards, provide adequate facilities, limit passenger capacity, and have more effective supervision.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Firm Size, Company Growth, Leverage, and Net Working Capital on Cash Holding in Consumer Non-Cyclicals companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2022–2024 period. This study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data obtained from the annual financial reports of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling method. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the Prais-Winsten AR(1) method to address autocorrelation in the research model. The results indicate that Firm Size, Company Growth, and Leverage do not have a significant effect on Cash Holding. Meanwhile, Net Working Capital has a negative and significant effect on Cash Holding. These findings indicate that companies with higher Net Working Capital tend to hold lower levels of cash because current assets other than cash can serve as alternative sources of liquidity to meet short-term operational and financial obligations. Simultaneously, Firm Size, Company Growth, Leverage, and Net Working Capital have a significant effect on Cash Holding. The findings of this study indicate that Cash Holding policies are influenced by a combination of the company's financial characteristics and liquidity conditions, with Net Working Capital being an important factor in determining the level of cash held by the company.

Abstract

This study is motivated by persistent inconsistencies in research findings (a research gap) regarding the factors influencing corporate performance, particularly within the non-cyclical consumer goods sector in Indonesia. The study aims to analyze the impact of cash holdings, profitability, leverage, sales growth, and cash flow volatility on corporate performance, as proxied by Tobin's Q. The subjects of the study are non-cyclical consumer goods companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2022–2024 period. A quantitative approach is employed, utilizing secondary data obtained from financial statements and annual reports accessed via the official IDX website. A total sampling technique was used; consequently, all companies meeting the research criteria were included in the sample, resulting in 288 observations over the study period. Data analysis was conducted using the Generalized Least Squares (GLS) method with the aid of Stata MP 17 software. This study is expected to provide empirical evidence regarding the influence of cash holdings, profitability, leverage, sales growth, and cash flow volatility on corporate performance, thereby contributing to the development of literature in the field of corporate finance. Furthermore, the findings are expected to serve as a reference for corporate management in formulating financial policies and for investors in evaluating company prospects as a basis for investment decision-making.
