Jurnal Spektra Komunika adalah jurnal Program Studi Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam, Fakultas Agama Islam, Universitas Hasyim Asyari Tebuireng Jombang. Abstract

This research explores the use of interpersonal communication in delivering religious messages to children with special needs, particularly those with intellectual disabilities, at SLB Sabilillah. Children with special needs face unique challenges that require sensitive and effective communication approaches. In this context, teachers utilize verbal interpersonal communication to deliver religious teachings based on Islamic principles in line with the Quran and Hadith. A qualitative approach is employed in this study, with a case study as the research method. Data is obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation, and verified using triangulation techniques. The aim of this research is to describe the types of interpersonal communication used by teachers in delivering religious messages to middle school students at SLB Sabilillah. Thus, this study provides insights into communication practices in the context of inclusive education for children with special needs.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and uncover the construction of the Muslimah image on the TikTok account @putriaqillaramadhani. In the digital era and the development of social media, platforms like TikTok have become important for individuals to build identities and influence others' perceptions. Muslim women use social media as a platform to express their religious beliefs, share inspiration, and spread positive messages about Islamic life. This study employs a qualitative approach to understand how the Muslimah image is represented and constructed through the content of the TikTok account. Semiotic analysis is used to analyze video content, descriptions, comments, and interactions with followers. Data are collected through observation and documentation. The results show that the @putriaqillaramadhani account actively constructs a strong and positive Muslimah image using polite and courteous language. Common topics include Islamic teachings, daily Muslimah life, and spiritual advice. The account also utilizes religious symbols such as the hijab and the Qur'an to strengthen the Muslimah identity. Additionally, it promotes positive messages about Muslimah life, such as diversity, tolerance, and empathy, by sharing personal experiences and inspirational stories with followers

Abstract

This research aims to uncover the communication style and rhetoric of preaching in the context of Ustadzah Halimah Alaydrus' YouTube channel. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative to systematically identify relevant phenomena. This study applies communication theory and preaching rhetoric theory as an analytical framework to understand how preachers communicate and influence their audience. The research findings indicate that Ustadzah Halimah Alaydrus utilizes an assertive communication style that respects others while clearly stating their beliefs. Her rhetoric is engaging, informative, entertaining, and motivational to her audience. The implications of this research underscore the importance of understanding and appreciating the role of preaching in social media platforms, such as YouTube, as a means to disseminate Islamic teachings and motivate audiences to act in accordance with religious values. This study also highlights the importance of using effective communication strategies to achieve preaching goals and build positive relationships between preachers and the community

Abstract

In this advanced and modern era, the activities of Islamic preaching (dakwah) have adapted to the current developments, particularly through the sophistication of social media. This study examines the preaching messages found in the YouTube Podcast titled "Kopipanas.channels Edisi #2 Cafekita - Ulas Buku-Cintanya Hati Suhita 14 November 2021". A Qualitative Descriptive Approach using the Holsti Content Analysis method is employed to address this issue. Primary data is gathered from YouTube Social Media, without the necessity of statistical data, but rather through the analysis of sentences and excerpts of the conveyed messages. The study categorizes the preaching messages into three main categories: creed (akidah), Islamic law (syari'at), and morality (akhlak), which constitute the core teachings of Islam. Through this approach and method, the study aims to describe these messages.

Abstract

The literary works of Taufiq Ismail, an Indonesian cleric and writer, embed Islamic values within his creations, including the poem "Sajadah Panjang." This poem, characterized by its beautiful yet accessible language, possesses a magical allure that captivates readers and listeners alike, inviting them to experience reverence in connecting life with the divine. Adapted into lyrics and sung by Bimbo and Noah, the poem further enhances its solemnity and popularity among the public. This research aims to uncover the message of Islamic propagation contained within Taufiq Ismail's poem "Sajadah Panjang." Employing a qualitative descriptive approach and the semiotic analysis method of Michael Rifatterre's model, the researcher examines discontinuities in expression, heuristic and hermeneutic readings, matrix searches, models, variants, and determines the hypogram text as the genesis of the poem's creation. The research findings reveal the propagation message encompassing two main issues: the outward and inward aspects of worship, and belief in Allah SWT. This poem serves as a reminder of life's meaning, bridging existence with the greatness of the Divine and our obligations to Him

Abstract

Advertising is a promotional medium used by various companies to increase sales of services and goods. Television commercials are believed to be able to influence audiences to purchase products. Moreover, using female figures can increase the appeal of an ad because of their beauty. Many commercials feature female figures showing their curves, such as those featuring women in short, tight clothing. However, unlike Wardah Cosmetics' commercial "Bergerak Hidupkan Harapan" Ramadan 1443 H edition, this ad features women wearing hijab and decently dressed. In addition, Wardah's ads not only showed physical beauty but also the beauty of the heart. This research focuses on the image of Muslim women shown in Wardah Cosmetics' commercial "Bergerak Hidupkan Harapan" Ramadan 1443 H edition. This research concludes that first, there were 15 significant scenes presenting a modern Muslimah, marked by the current Muslim style of clothing and hijab. However, the hijab style used does not fit Islamic law because it does not cover the chest. And the use of Wardah's products on Muslimah actresses leads the audience to keep their faces clean no matter how busy they are and to maintain their appearance at all opportunities. Second, muslimah are depicted as the image of pigura and pinggan. The image of the pigura in this not only shows beauty physically, but also has a beautiful heart. Then the image of pinggan in this commercial shows women in the kitchen not only for cooking but also as a business.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini berjudul “Peran Kompas TV dalam Meningkatkan Literasi Keagamaan di Indonesia”, bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran Kompas TV terutama dalam meningkatkan literasi keagamaanya di Indonesia, dan bagaimana Kompas TV menangani kontraversi atau konflik yang terkait dengan isu Agama, terutama Agama Islam dalam liputannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif, subjek penelitian ini dengan mewawancarai produser lapangan pada hari Selasa, 28 Mei 2024 yang menjadi narasumber saat Kunjungan di Kompas TV. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kompas TV mampu meningkatkan literasi keagamaan yang sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku dan mendukung penerapan syariat Islam. Adapun peran Kompas TV dalam meningkatkan literasi keagamaan di Indonesia yaitu Melalui konten inspiratif dan edukatif, fokus pada eksplorasi Indonesia, kualitas konten yang tinggi, visi dan misi yang jelas, dan penghargaan dan pengakuan, Kompas TV telah berperan aktif dalam meningkatkan literasi keagamaan di Indonesia. Abstract: This research, entitled "The Role of Kompas TV in Increasing Religious Literacy in Indonesia", aims to find out the role of Kompas TV, especially in increasing religious literacy in Indonesia, and how Kompas TV handles controversy or conflict related to religious issues, especially Islam in its coverage. This research uses a qualitative approach and descriptive methods, the subject of this research is interviewing Ms. Meirita Efendi who was a resource person during a visit to Kompas TV. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that Kompas TV is able to increase religious literacy in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and supports the implementation of Islamic law. The role of Kompas TV in increasing religious literacy in Indonesia is through inspirational and educational content, focus on exploration of Indonesia, high quality content, clear vision and mission, and awards and recognition, Kompas TV has played an active role in increasing religious literacy in Indonesia.

Abstract

Pengetahuan keagamaan adalah kunci bagi seorang hamba untuk dapat melakukan proses pembedaan atau memfilter mana yang hak dan mana yang batil, sehingga mendapat hasil yang maksimal dalam menjalankan perintah dan menjauhi larangan-Nya. Secara garis besar, pengetahuan keagamaan terhimpun dan terklasifikasikan dalam tiga hal pokok, yaitu: akidah, ibadah (syariah), dan akhlak. Adapun tujuan dan maksud dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) mengetahui aktivitas pengajian online kitab at-Tanbihat di Pondok Pesantren Tebuireng Jombang. (2) mengetahui pengaruh aktivitas pengajian online kitab at-Tanbihat terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan agama santri Pondok Pesantren Tebuireng Jombang. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan peneliti dengan jenis penelitian korelasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang peneliti pakai adalah observasi, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan regresi linier sederhana. Analisis tersebut terbukti mampu memaparkan data dan ditarik kesimpulan. Dari hasil penelitian, uji hipotesis dapat diketahui bahwa dengan taraf signifikan 0,050 dengan jumlah subjek 101 (101-1) (N-1) maka derajat kebebasan db=100, jadi H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara aktivitas pengajian online kitab at-Tanbihat terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan keagamaan santri Pondok Pesantren Tebuireng Jombang. Kesimpulan tersebut dilihat berdasarkan analisis data yang menunjukkan perbedaan rata-rata yang signifikan dengan perhitungan t hitung > t tabel atau nilai signifikansi (0,000<0,05), maka H0 tidak diterima

Abstract

Ustaz Abdul Somad adalah seorang da'i yang sukses dalam menyampaikan dakwahnya di berbagai daerah bahkan negara. Dengan penyampaiannya Ustadz Abdus Shomad dapat memberikan pemahaman yang baik terhadap masyarakat. Begitu besar pengaruh dakwah yang disampaikan oleh Ustaz Abdul Somad dengan gaya dakwah dan retorikanya yang khas, penulis tertarik untuk mengkaji pengaruh dan metode yang digunakannya. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada dakwah Ustaz Abdul Somad pada bulan Januari-Maret 2021, fokus masalah diarahkan pada metode dakwah, retorika dakwah dan channel youtube Ustaz Abdul Somad. Hal ini berdasarkan jumlah followers channel youtube Ustaz Abdul Somad. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan cara observasi online download video dakwah Ustaz Abdul Somad. Dari hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa metode dakwah yang digunakan oleh Ustaz Abdul Somad dikategorikan menjadi 3 metode, yaitu: metode hikmah, Al-Mauidzah al-Hasanah dan Al-mujdalam al-ahsan. Gaya retorika yang digunakan oleh Ustaz Abdul Somad juga terbagi menjadi 3 jenis, yaitu: monologis, dialogis dan pembinaan. Kemudian dalam perkembangan Akun Youtube Ustaz Abdul Somad pada Januari – Maret 2021, akun Youtube @Usatdz Abdul Somad Official memiliki 2,03 juta subscriber dan rata-rata 90 ribu views. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat dikaji dan diteliti lebih dalam oleh peneliti lain, baik dengan metode maupun objek penelitian lain.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengkaji konstruksi identitas pria dewasa dalam film Cinta Kiblat karya M. Amrul Umammi dengan menggunakan teori konstruksi identitas sosial oleh Henri Tajfel dan John Turner dan semiotika Roland Barthes melalui tiga level analisis, yaitu denotasi, konotasi, dan mitos. Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis teks media untuk melihat bagaimana karakter utama dalam film merepresentasikan proses kedewasaan pria dalam mempersiapkan pernikahan. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan umtuk mengidentifikasi unsur-unsur seperti adegan, dialog, simbol visual, dan kode kultural yang menggambarkan kematangan pria dari sisi emosional, sosial, dan tanggung jawab. Data yang di peroleh yaitu 13 scene. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa film Cinta Kiblat tidak hanya menggambarkan perjalanan kedewasaan pria dari sisi finansial, tetapi juga menyoroti pentingnya kematangan emosional dan kemampuan mengelola konflik dalam membangun rumah tangga. Film ini sekaligus mengkritik pandangan masyarakat yang masih mengukur kesiapan menikah dari aspek materi semata. Konstruksi identitas pria dewasa dalam film ini memperkaya pemahaman tentang pentingnya tanggung jawab, cinta, dan perjuangan sebagai bagian dari proses menjadi pria dewasa yang sesungguhnya dalam konteks sosial dan budaya Abstract: This study examines the construction of adult male identity in the film Cinta Kiblat by M. Amrul Umammi using Roland Barthes' theory of social identity construction with Henri Tajfel and Jhon Turner and semiotics through three levels of analysis, namely denotation, connotation, and myth. This study focuses on the analysis of media texts to see how the main characters in the film represent the process of male maturity in preparing for marriage. A qualitative approach is used to identify elements such as scenes, dialogues, visual symbols, and cultural codes that describe male maturity from an emotional, social, and responsibility perspective. The data obtained are 13 scenes. The results of the study show that the film Cinta Kiblat not only depicts the journey of male maturity from a financial perspective, but also highlights the importance of emotional maturity and the ability to manage conflict in building a household. This film also criticizes the views of society that still measure readiness for marriage from a material aspect alone. The construction of adult male identity in this film enriches the understanding of the importance of responsibility, love, and struggle as part of the process of becoming a real adult man in a social and cultural context.
