Abstract

This article examines Suhrawardi al-Maqtul’s illuminative logic (manṭiq al-ishrāqī) as a framework for developing Islamic epistemology amid contemporary debates questioning the scientific legitimacy of Islamic sciences. In modern discourse, knowledge derived from revelation, intuition, and metaphysics is often regarded as unscientific or pseudo-scientific due to its perceived incompatibility with public rationality. Employing a qualitative library research method with a philosophical-hermeneutic approach, this study explores Suhrawardi’s critique of Peripatetic representational epistemology and his concept of al-‘ilm al-ḥuḍūrī as the foundation of genuine knowledge. The study finds that Suhrawardi does not reject reason and logic but repositions them as methodological instruments for articulating and legitimizing illuminative knowledge within an intersubjective and discursive framework. Consequently, illuminative logic provides an integrative epistemological model that enables revelation-based Islamic sciences to be articulated within the public academic sphere without reducing their transcendental dimension. This article contributes to contemporary Islamic epistemology by offering a non-reductionist paradigm capable of addressing the challenges of modern scientific and philosophical discourse.

Abstract

Dalam pembelajaran sepakbola, terdapat empat aspek yang perlu dikembangkan, yaitu pembinaan teknik (keterampilan), pembinaan fisik (kesegaran jasmani), pembinaan taktik, dan kematangan juara. Salah satu hal yang harus diperhatikan dalam bermain sepakbola adalah keterampilan dasar bermain sepakbola. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat keterampilan sepakbola siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang menggunakan metode survei. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan tes dan pengukuran. Dari semua data yang diperoleh dari tes keterampilan sepakbola, dapat dilihat bahwa tingkat keterampilan dasar bermain sepakbola pada siswa berada dalam kategori cukup dan baik. Hasil ini disebabkan karena beberapa faktor, seperti sarana dan prasarana yang kurang kondusif yang dapat menghambat peningkatan keterampilan siswa. Selain itu, kurangnya partisipasi dan motivasi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran juga menjadi faktor yang mempengaruhi. Semakin sering siswa berlatih dan bermain sepakbola akan semakin meningkatkan keterampilan dasar sepakbolanya. Guru juga dapat bertindak sebagai pelatih dengan memberikan menu latihan yang terprogram dan terencana, seperti teknik latihan dasar, latihan fisik, dan latihan taktik.

Abstract

Makalah ini mengupas hakikat Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dan peran pentingnya dalam mengembangkan karakter moral peserta didik masa kini. Di era sekarang ini, perubahan teknologi dan informasi serta tantangan global muncul silih berganti. Setiap individu tidak hanya memiliki kecerdasan, tetapi juga kualitas moral dan tanggung jawab sosial. Pendidikan kewarganegaraan bukan hanya sekedar mengajarkan Konstitusi dan sistem pemerintahan, tetapi juga merupakan wahana dasar dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai universal seperti demokrasi, hak asasi manusia, toleransi, keadilan dan nasionalisme. Pendidikan kewarganegaraan merupakan program pendidikan yang berintikan demokrasi politik, diperluas dengan sumber-sumber pengetahuan lainnya: pengaruh-pengaruh positif dari pendidikan sekolah, masyarakat, dan orang tua. diproses guna melatih para mahasiswa untuk berpikir kritis, analitis, bersikap dan bertindak demokratis dalam mempersiapkan hidup demokratis berdasarkan Pancasila dan UUD 1945. Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan untuk mahasiswa bertujuan untuk mengembangkan karakter mahasiswa melalui penanaman nilai-nilai luhur, memperkokoh rasa kebangsaan dan cinta tanah air, mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan bermoral, meningkatkan kesadaran hukum dan demokrasi, serta membentuk kesadaran antikorupsi dan kepedulian lingkungan. Pendidikan kewarganegaraan diberikan kepada mahasiswa bertujuan supaya setiap generasi bangsa harus mendapat pengetahuan, sikap atau nilai dan keterampilan agar mampu mengembangkan diri menjadi warga negara yang memiliki watak atau karakter yang baik dan cerdas dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat, berbangsa dan bernegara sesuai dengan demokrasi konstitusional. Dengan demikian, Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan diharapkan mampu mencetak generasi muda yang memiliki karakter moral kuat, siap menjadi agen perubahan positif, dan berkontribusi pada kemajuan bangsa di masa depan.

Abstract

The motivation for this study is the importance of the role of murabbis as educators in Islamic education based on the values of the Qur'an and Hadith. The goal of this study is to analyze the concepts of murabbis and the role of educators in shaping the character and intellect of students according to Islamic teachings. This study also suggests further studies on the practical implementation of Islamic teachings in schools

Abstract

The study purpose was to design and preliminarily validate a universal adjustable workbench that supports seated and standing bench-work activities in educational workshops, overcoming ergonomic limitations of fixed-height benches.Materials and methods. An engineering design–fabrication–testing approach was applied. The prototype was modeled in Autodesk Inventor and built using a manual scissor-lift mechanism actuated by an M10 grade 4.6 threaded bar. The work surface measured 1200 × 700 mm with an adjustable height range of ~75–110 cm. The frame used hollow steel sections (40×40×2.3 mm and 30×30×2 mm; mild steel, σy ≈ 240 MPa) and a double-layer 10 mm plywood tabletop. Actuator capacity was analytically verified using an effective stress area of 58 mm², yield strength 240 MPa, and a safety factor (SF) of 2. Performance evaluation included incremental static loading (100–280 kg), repeated height adjustment (≥50 cycles), and eccentric-load stability testing.Results. The threaded-bar analysis estimated a yield-limit capacity of ~6,276 N (≈640 kg), corresponding to a recommended safe working load of ~320 kg (SF=2). Physical tests up to 280 kg showed stable lifting and height holding with no permanent deformation of the screw or frame; cycle and eccentric-load tests indicated reliable operation under repeated and uneven loading within the tested range.Conclusions. The manual scissor-lift adjustable workbench achieved functional adjustability and demonstrated promising structural stability for workshop/laboratory use. Further work should extend load testing to the recommended safe limit and add quantitative ergonomic posture assessment to substantiate ergonomic benefits.

Abstract

This comparative analytical study examines the philosophical and pedagogical frameworks of tazkiyat al-nafs (purification of the soul) as conceptualized by two preeminent Islamic thinkers: Abu Hamid al-Ghazali (d. 505/1111) and Abu Ali Ahmad ibn Muhammad Miskawayh (d. 421/1030). Through rigorous examination of their foundational ethical treatises, particularly Al-Ghazali's Ihya' 'Ulum al-Din and Miskawayh's Tahdhib al-Akhlaq, this study elucidates the theoretical underpinnings, methodological approaches, and practical implications of their respective models for character formation. The analysis reveals a fundamental dichotomy between Miskawayh's rationalist-philosophical emphasis on psychic equilibrium and virtue cultivation through habituation, and Al-Ghazali's mystical-spiritual orientation toward divine proximity through systematic purification of the self. While both thinkers operated within the Aristotelian framework of virtue ethics and drew upon the tripartite division of the soul, their divergent epistemological commitments—Miskawayh's prioritization of natural reason and environmental conditioning versus Al-Ghazali's integration of Sufi mysticism with ethical praxis—produced substantively distinct architectures for moral development. This comparative investigation contributes to contemporary discourse on holistic character education within Islamic contexts, demonstrating the continued relevance of classical Islamic ethical philosophy for addressing multifaceted challenges in character formation and spiritual development.

Abstract

The study purpose was to design, develop, and evaluate an elephant grass chopping machine that integrates a rotary blade mechanism and a pull roll system to improve feeding stability, productivity, and chopping uniformity in ruminant feed processing. Traditional manual chopping methods are labor-intensive, time-consuming, and produce inconsistent particle sizes, which reduce feed efficiency. This research aimed to develop a farm-scale machine with a target capacity of 1 ton/hour that is technically and economically feasible for farmers.Materials and methods. This study used an engineering-based research and development approach consisting of design, fabrication, and performance testing. The prototype was powered by a GX 220 gasoline engine and equipped with strip-type carbon steel rotary blades, a pull roll feeding system, and a pulley–V-belt transmission. Performance testing was conducted using elephant grass at three blade rotational speeds (1,120 rpm, 1,680 rpm, and 2,240 rpm). The observed parameters included chopping time, output mass, chopping capacity, and distribution of chopped sizes.Results. The machine achieved an optimal working capacity of approximately 1,080 kg/hour at a blade speed of 1,680 rpm, meeting the design target. Higher blade speeds reduced processing time and increased the proportion of smaller chopped particles, while lower speeds resulted in longer and less uniform cuts. The pull roll system effectively stabilized material feeding and enabled continuous operation.Conclusions. The developed machine improved labor efficiency, productivity, and feed chopping uniformity, indicating good potential for farm-scale application. However, further design improvements are required to reduce frame vibration, optimize hopper design, and enhance blade mounting safety.
