Abstract

Writing is a kind of important skills. Moreover, writing skill is one of the main objectives in learning foreign language. However, students’ skill is still lowgrade in this writing skill. The condition of this lowgrade is not caused by the difficulty of foreign language writing but it is caused of the ineffective and unsupportive teaching tools and teaching media. The purposes of this study are: 1) to train the university students in developing of writing using simple and pleased sentences and also systematic structure. 2) to assist the university students in revision, editing, and correcting the articles. 3) to improve the university students’ skill in Arabic writing skill. This study applied qualitative and quantitative research especially experimental research in writing skill during teaching learning process using al-Asalib al-Balaghiyyah media. This teaching style consists of 4 levels. They are planning, action, observation, and reflection. Research data are from lecturers’ and university students’ activities during teaching learning process of writing skill and the university students’ articles of Arabic Classes Special Program in Islamic State University of Sunan Ampel, Surabaya especially semester 2, Class E and F.

Abstract

Model pembelajaran quantum learning merupakan pengubahan belajar yang meriah dengan segala nuansanya yang menyertakan segala kaitan, interaksi, dan perbedaan yang memaksimalkan momen belajar serta berfokus pada hubungan dinamis dalam lingkungan kelas interaksi yang mendirikan landasan dalam rangka untuk belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengelaborasi terkait implementasi prinsip-prinsip dan langkah-langkah pendekatan quantum learning dalam pembelajaran PAI. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah kajian Systematic Literature Review yang dimulai dari proses pencarian literatur, scrining dan uji kelayakan. Artikel yang di review mencakup artikel terbitan tahun 2017-2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan implementasi quantum learning dalam pembelajaran PAI dapat berupa; (1) penerapan prinsip quantum learning (segalanya berbicara, segalanya bertujuan, pengalaman sebelum pemberian nama, akui setiap usaha, jika layak dipelajari, maka layak pula dirayakan, (2) penerapan Langkah-langkah TANDUR yaitu; Tumbuhkan, Alami, Namai, Demonstrasikan, Ulangi, dan Rayakan. Inovasi Pembelajaran PAI dengan Model Quantum Learning menawarkan pendekatan yang baru dan menjanjikan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran PAI melalui interaksi aktif dan pemberdayaan siswa. Penelitian ini berpotensi memberikan dampak positif pada pemahaman siswa terhadap agama Islam, keterampilan kritis, dan pemberdayaan pribadi mereka.

Abstract

The motivation for this study is the importance of the role of murabbis as educators in Islamic education based on the values of the Qur'an and Hadith. The goal of this study is to analyze the concepts of murabbis and the role of educators in shaping the character and intellect of students according to Islamic teachings. This study also suggests further studies on the practical implementation of Islamic teachings in schools

Abstract

Arabic has an important position as the language of science and the language of the Qur'an that needs to be introduced early on, especially amidst the challenges of globalization that affect the use of foreign languages ​​in everyday life. However, learning Arabic is still considered difficult, especially by children. This article aims to describe the implementation and impact of the Arabic Center Kidz program designed to introduce Arabic through fun and interactive methods at TPQ Misbachur Rochman, Dusun Tambak Sari, Sidoarjo. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with stages of assessment, preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The learning methods used include Shaw and Tell, singing and memorizing, muhadatsah, and language games (al-Lu'bah al-Lughawiyah). The results of the study showed an increase in participants' ability to understand and pronounce Arabic vocabulary as well as growing interest and self-confidence in the learning process. The conclusion of this study is that Arabic learning can be done effectively with a contextual, fun, and sustainable approach

Abstract

Kompetensi komunikasi merupakan soft skill fundamental dalam kurikulum pendidikan modern, namun siswa di MAN Sidoarjo masih menghadapi kendala berupa kecemasan berbicara (glossophobia) dan ketergantungan pada teknik presentasi konvensional yang kurang menarik. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri dan keterampilan teknis presentasi siswa madrasah aliyah negeri sidoarjo dengan menggunakan metode pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR). Metode ini sebagai subjek aktif melalui tiga pilar utama: riset, aksi, dan partisipasi yang difokuskan pada prinsip 3V (Visual, Verbal, dan Vokal). Pelaksanaan program meliputi pemaparan materi Teknik presentasi, postur tubuh, Public Speaking serta keoercayaan diri siswa untuk berbicara di depan audiens, serta simulasi praktik langsung yang disertai bimbingan intensif dan pemberian apresiasi (reward). Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada kepercayaan diri siswa yang divalidasi melalui observasi perilaku, di mana siswa kini mampu melakukan kontak mata secara konsisten dan menggunakan volume suara yang lantang. Selain itu, terjadi transformasi kualitas teknis untuk penyusunan media presentasi yang lebih estetis dan penyampaian materi yang lebih terstruktur. Berdasarkan tersebut disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan ini efektif dalam mengedukasi hambatan psikologis dan membekali siswa dengan kemampuan presentasi yang berdampak kuat.

Abstract

This study examines the interpretation of Surah At-Tahrim verse 6 and selected hadiths related to family protection as the foundation of preventive family-based Islamic education. The study aims to conceptualize Islamic education as a comprehensive protective system encompassing spiritual, moral, and social dimensions, as well as to analyze the role of parents in strengthening family resilience based on Qur’anic and Prophetic guidance. Employing a qualitative approach, this research utilizes thematic interpretation (tafsir maudhu‘i) and hadith content analysis, drawing on classical exegetical works such as those of Ibn Kathir and Ath-Thabari alongside contemporary scholarly literature. The findings indicate that QS. At-Tahrim: 6 emphasizes collective family responsibility in safeguarding members from moral and spiritual deviation through faith cultivation, exemplary conduct, and continuous educational supervision. Relevant hadiths on family protection, including HR. Abu Dawud No. 494, reinforce this mandate by highlighting early religious habituation and an affection-based preventive educational approach. The novelty of this study lies in its integrative framework that combines thematic Qur’anic exegesis with the concept of preventive family education, offering a holistic model of proactive Islamic education oriented toward safeguarding families from both worldly and ukhrawi threats. The study concludes that Qur’anic and Prophetic values should be systematically embedded within a proactive family-based Islamic education system to ensure comprehensive protection and well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of the Quizizz application in increasing student learning interest in the Al-Qur'an Hadith subject at MAN Sidoarjo. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach through a review of various journals, scientific articles, and research results relevant to gamification-based learning technology. The focus of the study includes the use of the Quizizz application as an interactive learning medium and its influence on indicators of student learning interest. The results of the study indicate that Quizizz is able to create a more interesting learning atmosphere through interactive quiz features, varied visual displays, and fun evaluation mechanisms. Through elements of competition and direct feedback, Quizizz has been proven to increase student enthusiasm, attention, and involvement in the Al-Qur'an Hadith learning process. Based on these findings, Quizizz is considered to have the potential to be an effective and relevant learning medium in supporting the learning process in madrasas, especially in efforts to increase student learning interest.

Abstract

Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas keagamaan di masyarakat adalah pembinaan kerohanian. Pengajian umum, yang memiliki peran penting dalam memperkuat nilai-nilai agama, adalah salah satu bentuk pembinaan yang paling sering dilakukan di masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi bagaimana pengajian umum berdampak pada kualitas keagamaan di Desa Kebontunggul Gondang, Mojokerto Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk mengumpulkan data tentang pengajian umum di Desa Kebontunggul Gondang. Penelitian ini mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi tentang bagaimana pengajian umum dilakukan di desa tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengajian umum telah meningkatkan pemahaman agama masyarakat, memperkuat hubungan sosial, dan meningkatkan ketakwaan masyarakat. Akibatnya, pengajian umum menjadi alat penting untuk meningkatkan kerohanian dan kualitas keagamaan masyarakat.

Abstract

Islamic schools (madrasahs) play a strategic role not only in fostering students’ academic achievement but also in cultivating religious character as an essential foundation for navigating contemporary social challenges. However, learning practices that remain predominantly teacher-centered often limit student engagement, reducing opportunities for the meaningful internalization of religious values. In response to this issue, this community service program aimed to facilitate the implementation of interactive learning to enhance student participation and strengthen religious character among students at MA Nurul Huda Sedati Sidoarjo. The program employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach involving four stages: observation, planning, action implementation, evaluation, and reflection, with active collaboration between teachers and students throughout the process. Interactive learning strategies were implemented through group discussions, presentations, question-and-answer sessions, and contextual reflective activities integrated with religious values. The findings revealed a significant transformation in the learning process toward a more participatory, dialogic, and reflective environment, as evidenced by increased student involvement in discussions, greater confidence in expressing ideas, and improved collaborative skills. Furthermore, the program contributed to strengthening students’ religious character, reflected in the development of discipline, responsibility, mutual respect, and social awareness within classroom interactions. These findings indicate that interactive learning serves not only as an effective approach for enhancing student engagement but also as a meaningful medium for internalizing religious values and translating them into everyday attitudes and behaviors. Therefore, interactive learning assistance grounded in religious values can be considered a strategic and sustainable approach to supporting character education within the madrasah context.
