Abstract

This research focuses on enhancing workforce management at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV by implementing a mobile-based personnel information system. The study addresses inefficiencies in manual HR processes, such as delays in task approvals and limited accessibility to employee data. By applying the Design Thinking methodology, the research identifies key challenges, generates solutions, and tests prototypes to develop an intuitive system. The final product improves workflow efficiency and user satisfaction, as demonstrated by usability testing results. Limitations include dependency on internet connectivity and the scope of testing. Future developments could integrate predictive analytics and expand features for comprehensive HR management

Abstract

Computer-Based Test (CBT) is a computer-based examination system used as a medium for administering tests. The presentation and selection of questions are computerized so that each participant receives a different set of questions. This system is developed to minimize cheating, question leaks, limited number of questions, and damage to questions, as well as to ensure more accurate exam results. The problem faced in this study is the inaccuracy in determining the majors for several new students at SMKN 1 Sitiung. This study aims to develop a CBT application that can help determine the majors of new students based on their talents and interests. The research method used is the prototype method, which includes three stages: Listening to the Customer, Building or Revising the Mock-up, and Testing. The results of the study show that the developed CBT application is able to help schools determine student majors more accurately, minimize errors in major placement, and ensure that students are placed according to their talents and interests.

Abstract

Bunut Baok Village in Central Lombok Regency offers a stunning tourist destination with beautiful natural views and waterfalls. However, the popularity of this tourist attraction is still low, both among local and foreign tourists, because it is not widely known. Researchers took the initiative to utilize social media platforms Instagram and TikTok as promotional tools to introduce the Bunut Baok Tourism Village. By creating official accounts on these two platforms, information regarding the tourist attractions of Bunut Baok Village can continue to be updated and accessed by a wider audience. Instagram and TikTok, with their various features and the newest trends, are very effective in assisting promotional activities. Through interesting and interactive content, user interest in Bunut Baok Tourism Village can be increased, thereby expanding the reach of promotions and attracting more visitors. This research uses the waterfall method and aims to examine the use of Instagram and TikTok as digital promotional strategies to increase the popularity and number of visits to Bunut Baok Tourism Village. It is hoped that the results of this research can make a real contribution to the development of local tourism by optimizing social media as an effective and efficient promotional tool.

Abstract

This study integrates two analytical approaches, Multi-Objective Optimization by Ratio Analysis (MOORA) and Organization, Rangement Et Synthese De Donnes Relationnelles (ORESTE), to identify priority locations for forest and land rehabilitation in North Sumatra. The study evaluates six key criteria, including rehabilitation area size, carbon emissions, ecosystem degradation, biodiversity, rehabilitation potential, and environmental impact, across ten candidate sites. Initially, the MOORA method was applied to assess quantitative factors, revealing that the technical potential among the locations was nearly uniform. Subsequently, the ORESTE method was employed to evaluate qualitative factors, including community participation, socio-cultural values, and institutional support. This analysis revealed significant disparities in social readiness. For instance, South Tapanuli and Mandailing Natal emerged as top priorities due to their robust social support systems, while West Pakpak faced significant social challenges. This integrated approach offers a comprehensive framework that balances both technical and social dimensions for the successful implementation of sustainable forest rehabilitation programs.

Abstract

Currently, the data registration procedure required by the North Sumatra Provincial General Election Commission is still done traditionally. Therefore, all legislative candidates from political parties must directly provide the required data in document format or written sheets. As a solution to this problem, it is recommended that an application be used to check and register the data required by the North Sumatra Provincial General Election Commission. This application uses the PHP programming language, MySQL as a database, and the waterfall method will be applied to computerize the process, making it faster and more accurate. The design of this application consists of two elements: the North Sumatra Provincial General Election Commission administrator, who handles the checking and filtering of the required data for each legislative candidate, and the political party administrator, who inputs the data for the legislative candidate. The implementation of this application is expected to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and support transparency in the legislative candidate registration process.

Abstract

The BPKAD PROVSU News Portal information system is a mobile application developed to facilitate the efficient dissemination of information and news to the public, as it can be accessed via smartphone anytime and anywhere. This application was designed using the Flutter framework and Firebase services, with system modeling based on the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and developed using the waterfall method. The research resulted in a functional application that enables fast and accurate information delivery. Testing using the black-box method confirmed that the system operates as expected. These findings indicate that the application can effectively improve public access to government-related news and information.
