Abstract

Election is a way to realize the principle of democracy is normally done by choosing to use media and supplied ballot polling stations (TPS). STMIK Sumedang has also been applied to the electoral system for the election of Chairman of the Senate but there are problems faced by the committee in STMIK Sumedang because Many students or prospective voters who can not convey the right to vote, because the implementation time and lecture schedules run concurrently. The method used to create mobile voting Student Senate Election uses prototype method. Stages in the first of these methods is the identification of problems and needs and then to design prototype system and evaluating whether the system has been built as expected. With the Mobile Student Senate Election Voting can help the student union election process STMIK Sumedang good for the voters or the student and the committee (KPUM) that the management of the results of the voting can be managed properly.

Abstract

This research purpose is to map teachers understanding on class action research concept. This research is qualitative descriptive study towards a group that had conducted a program. This group has been trained to develop class action research for three years through BERMUTU program in teachers’ group activities (MGMP). Data gained from observation and interview then processed and reduced to identify the important information. The result was compared with expert opinion to seek its similarity and deviation resulted the conclusion of class action research concept and its quality. It shows that teachers’ understanding was varied towards class action research concept. Teachers should do class action research intentionally and it should improve teaching learning process while they did not conduct their research with this definition. It is also found out that class action research could not give improvement on teachers’ developing theoritical competence yet, since this competence is very important to support teaching learning process. Thus, teachers’ understanding influences the quality of their research report.

Abstract

The study is focused to determine the relationship between school facility (X1), classroom management (X2) and student learning outcomes (Y) in social studies in Bekasi, Subang and Cirebon regencies. The method used is descriptive statistical analysis and path analysis (path analysis). Sample of the study are teachers from 21 schools out of 52 SMPN in Bekasi, teachers from 21 school out of t 60 SMPN in Subang, and teachers 18 schools out of 59 SMPN 59 in Cirebon. The results show that (1) school facility correlated significantly with classroom management amounted to 0.381. (2) The results of school facility and management classes do not correlate significantly with student competency test. (3) school facility affects classroom management significantly with significance value of 0.003. (4) Variable school facility and the management class do not affect the test results of student competence significantly. Based on the results of the study, it is recommended that further study is extremely of importance to conduct to obtain other factors that influence student learning outcomes. For example, intelligence, motivation, interests, health, learning strategies, media and competence of teachers themselves. Dinas Pendidikan is urged to provide and improve guidance to the teachers and provide sufficient funding to improve the quality of school facility. To improve teachers’ competence, it is also recommended that LPMP Jawa Barat provides assistance and guidance.

Abstract

This research is based on a phenomena of students who have low self-confidence. This self-confidence is very important as an investment in processing student’s self-develop. Furthermore, there’s no guidance and counseling programme related to improving students’ self-confidence in MTs. Al Bidayah. The purpose of this research is to develop a programme of social personal guidance for improving students’ self-confidence and to gain insight of the effectivity of this programme. The method used is pre-experiment and the participants of this research are 63 students of year 8 in MTs. Al Bidayah Bandung Barat District. Simple random sampling was used to choose the participants and try out applied to 11 students who have low self-confidence to recognize the effectivity of programme. Data collection method used is questionnaire. The research result shows that (1) this guidance programme to improve students’ self-confidence consists of direction and values, motivation, emotional stability, a positive mind-set, self-awareness, flexibility in behavior, eagerness to develop, mentally health and energy, a willingness to take risks, and a sense of purpose; (2) on paired sample t-test shows thitung which is -5.123 while ttabel with α = 0.05 and df n – 1= (11 - 1 = 10) equal to 1.812. in the other words, social personal guidance programme is effective to improve students’ self-confidence in year 8 of MTs. Al Bidayah Bandung Barat District.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of learning CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) on the matter of biotechnology, namely making nata de coco. The method used is the method of quasi-experimental research subjects students take one SMAN in Cianjur. The study used a descriptive analytic techniques. The effectiveness of learning is determined based on the following criteria: 1) the significance of the thoroughness of learning outcomes, in terms of mastery of concepts is achieved; 2) the ability of inquiry indicated during PBM; 3) interaction pattern formed during PBM, namely the interaction patterns are symmetrical, asymmetrical shifting, and asymmetrical, adapted from Johnson & Johnson (1975). From these results it is found that it turns learning model is effective with the fact that support, namely: 1) The study results turned out to be significantly better than the complete learning criteria (Zscore = 5.69); 2) the ability of scientific inquiry at all emerges with the ability greatest scientific investigations (24.45%) and the lowest in the ability to develop descriptions, explanations, predictions and models based on evidence (10.70%); 3) interaction pattern formed is symmetrical patterns of interaction (50.72%) and the shifting asymmetric (49.36).

Abstract

In general the behavior of bureaucratic apparatus of government is the result of interaction between individuals and their environment. So even structurally, government bureaucracy should be accommodated in the improvement of the characteristics, as well as the capability and capacity of the state apparatus as a servant of the man of society and public services actor. The realization of the bureaucratic apparatus of government behavior that ideal is bureaucratic apparatus that has a moral, ethical and attitude is commendable and exemplary. Therefore, the behavior of bureaucratic apparatus at least be formed by five norms, ie norms positions, social norms, norms of the profession, family norms and other norms (legal, decency and moral norms).

Abstract

Pembangunan merupakan upaya yang terencana dan terarah untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat paradigma pembangunan ini, lebih menekankan pada “empowerment” (penguatan diri). Dalam pembangunan banyak masalah-masalah yang dihadapi untuk menuju perubahan yang diinginkan melalui kebijakan-kebijakan yang terstruktur yang pada akhirnya untuk meningkatkan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan penduduk. Untuk itu diperlukan capability dan capacity organization, yaitu unsur birokrasi pemerintahan yang kuat, dalam aspek administratif dan transformasi sosial budaya melalui pemberdayaan masyarakat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas penyusunan Laporan Kinerja Instansi Pemerintah (LKIP) di Kecamatan Rancakalong Kabupaten Sumedang dari persfektif pendekatan sumber, proses dan sasaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Sasaran dalam penelitian ini, yaitu pegawai Kantor Kecamatan Rancakalong Kabupaten Sumedang. Informan sebanyak tiga(3) orang, yaitu Camat, Kepala Sub Bagian Program dan Keuangan serta Pelaksana. Prosedur pengumpulan data yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah dengan menggunakan prosedur wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan dilengkapi dengan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan persfektif pendekatan sumber untuk penyusunan LKIP di Kecamatan Rancakalong telah sesuai dengan regulasi/aturan yang telah di tetapkan, melibatkan semua unsur, sumber dana yang digunakan bersumber dari APBD Kabupaten Sumedang serta penanggung jawab penyusunan LAKIP adalah Kepala Sub Bagian Program dan keuangan. Berdasarkan persfektif pendekatan proses untuk penyusunan LKIP di Kecamatan Rancakalong, yaitu proses Penyusunan LKIP Kecamatan Rancakalong berdasar atas beberapa tahapan yang ditempuh seperti Pengumpulan Data, pencatatan dan koordinasi seluruh unsur serta proses penyusunan LKIP telah sinergi dengan Rencana Kerja, Rencana Strategis, Perjanjian Kinerja dan indikator Kinerja Utama. Selain itu, berdasarkan persfektif pendekatan sasaran untuk penyusunan LKIP di Kecamatan Rancakalong, yaitu hasil yang dicapai sebagai output penyusunan LKIP Kecamatan Rancakalong adalah Kinerja Pembangunan yang selaras dengan Rencana Jangka Menengah Daerah.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain an overview of the workload at the District Office Cimalaka Sumedang, to determine the factors that hinder the workload at the District Office Cimalaka Sumedang, to know what efforts are made Subdistrict Cimalaka Sumedang in addressing the factors inhibitors workload.Techniques of collecting samples used in this research is purposive sampling techniques, the sampling technique based on need.Then the samples in this study were 1 sub-district and 1 Sekcam, 1 Head, 2 Civil Servants (PNS). The author draws the conclusion that the workload at the District Office Sumedang Cimalaka overall that the tasks performed physical labor organizations such as the time period of work, the working environment is the physical work environment, fInternal actors like, factors from the body as a result of reaction to the workload of the external factors that hamper the workload at the District Office Cimalaka Sumedang is because the burden is too heavy, physical work load with time, the imposition of excessive so as to affect the performance of employees in ultimately the goal will not be achieved as service to the community to be weak, efforts undertaken District of Cimalaka Sumedang in overcoming the limiting factors workload is a target to be achieved well, the working conditions are supportive of all employees and jobs and standard of work pass the required quality standards of the State civil apparatus set forth in legislation ASN.The suggestions writer is should the District Cimalaka in this case camat more attention to employees who often excel in attendance and work by providing promotional opportunities are fair and based on seniority, promotion of fair and based on performance, the existence of the bonus given when the results of such work achieve targets such as remuneration based on individual skill levels, remuneration based on work results achieved servants,The promotion of staff to the structural organization is giving employees who have served for a long time because of obstruction by the education factor so defeated by new employees with education is high in this case the boss always gives feedback to subordinates therefore leaders should always create communication between subordinates and tops are good.
