Abstract

Flooding, a frequent natural disaster in Indonesia, is caused by several factors such as high-intensity rainfall, climate change, inadequate drainage and urban infrastructure challenges, impacting communities, infrastructure and economic activities. The lack of accurate and centralized data hinders government efforts to identify affected areas and respond effectively. Named Entity Recognition (NER), a machine learning-based information extraction tool, offers the potential for geocoding flood-related data from social media, such as Twitter. The purpose of this research is to develop a Named Entity Recognition (NER)-based model to extract location information from Twitter and visualize flood impacts through geocoding. The method used is a combination of Qualitative Analysis with Machine Learning and Geospatial Analysis to assess flooding impacts using Twitter data. Initially, a qualitative analysis of tweets extracts flood-related keywords to identify patterns. Then, Named Entity Recognition (NER) identifies locations, which are converted into geographic coordinates through geocoding for map visualization. The results show that location extraction from flood-related tweets using the Named Entity Recognition (NER) model and geocoding produces very useful and accurate data. About 50% of the flood-related tweets included location tokens, which shows the importance of geographic information in understanding the impact of disasters. The location extraction process using the NER model proved to be effective, although there were some discrepancies between the extracted location tokens and the actual geographic data, especially at the more detailed location level. However, the evaluation results show that 99.5% of the extracted locations correspond to valid locations, especially in the Indonesian region. This shows that the use of the NER model and geocoding is highly effective in analyzing flood impacts and provides significant benefits in disaster management and geospatial analysis based on social media data.

Abstract

This research explores the integration of digital humanities methods in the analysis of Indonesian language texts to enhance linguistic and cultural understanding. The primary objective is to develop tailored digital humanities methodologies, applying computational tools such as text mining, natural language processing, and corpus linguistics to analyze linguistic and thematic patterns within Indonesian texts. By leveraging these techniques, the study aims to provide new insights into language use, cultural narratives, and historical shifts in Indonesia. A qualitative approach, including a literature review and case studies, is used to examine existing research and methodologies, and assess how digital tools can be effectively applied in this context. The study also addresses the accessibility of Indonesian textual data for researchers, educators, and students, proposing solutions to make these resources more usable and integrated into the global digital humanities framework. This research contributes to expanding the scope of digital humanities by incorporating Indonesian language texts, offering a model for future studies in non-Western linguistic traditions.

Abstract

Madrasah Aliyah plays a crucial role in shaping future generations, but improving teacher performance remains a significant challenge. The application of Total Quality Management (TQM) and agile leadership is a strategic approach to enhancing educational quality. TQM emphasizes continuous improvement, while agile leadership promotes flexibility and adaptation in response to educational changes. This study explores how TQM and agile leadership work together to improve teacher performance in State Aliyah Madrasahs (MAN) in South Kalimantan. The goal is to analyze the impact of TQM and agile leadership on teacher performance and examine the role of TQM in strengthening the relationship between leadership agility and teacher performance. Using a mixed methods approach, the study examines the interplay of TQM, leadership agility, teacher training, and performance in 13 South Kalimantan MAN schools. A sample of 303 teachers participated, with quantitative data analyzed using PLS-SEM and qualitative data from interviews and focus group discussions. The qualitative data helped validate and enrich the quantitative findings, providing deeper insights into the factors affecting teacher performance. The results show that both leadership agility and teacher training positively influence teacher performance, with TQM moderating the relationship between leadership agility and performance. To improve teacher performance, steps such as fostering a culture of continuous improvement through workshops and feedback, integrating TQM principles into training, and promoting agile leadership focused on collaboration and problem-solving can create a supportive environment that enhances teacher performance and student outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to measure the achievement of the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students (P5) at The Early Childhood Education unit. This study employs a quantitative research design using a survey method. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling with a margin of error of 5%. A total of 78 PAUD teachers in the Buah Batu District, Bandung City, West Java Province. The data collection method used in this study uses an online questionnaire distributed via Google Forms to each research participant consisting of 13 questions. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistical analysis, namely by calculating the mean value of each indicator. The findings reveal that the reinforcement of P5 in PAUD settings has been achieved, as evidenced by 56.41% of teachers reporting adequate understanding of P5 and 47.43% indicating sufficient availability of P5-related documents. Statistical calculations show a final score of 66.3%, categorized as "Achieved".The results suggest that there are some areas that need to be improved, particularly in relation to teacher training, the availability of teaching modules and parental involvement in P5 implementation. Therefore, recommendations to improve the achievement of P5 implementation in early childhood education include improving teacher training and understanding, providing more resources and guidelines, and strengthening efforts to involve parents in children's character education process.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of family economic education, peer groups, economic literacy, and self-efficacy on students' entrepreneurial intentions. The research utilizing a survey method with a Likert scale distributed to 292 students actively enrolled in universities in the Greater Jakarta area Indonesia. Data analysis was conducted using PLS-SEM. The results indicate that family economic education and peer groups have a positive and significant effect on economic literacy and entrepreneurial intentions. Economic literacy was found to mediate the influence of family economic education and peer groups on entrepreneurial intentions. Furthermore, self-efficacy moderates the relationship between economic literacy and entrepreneurial intentions, enhancing the impact of economic literacy on entrepreneurial intentions when self-efficacy is high. This research offers valuable insights and implication managerial for developing entrepreneurship education programs that involve families and create positive peer interactions among students. It suggests the need for educational institutions to integrate family-based economic education workshops and seminars, as well as establish entrepreneurship clubs and networking events to foster a conducive environment for entrepreneurial growth. Strengthening self-efficacy through personal development programs is also recommended to ensure that students can effectively apply their economic literacy in entrepreneurial contexts. These combined efforts can significantly enhance entrepreneurial intentions among students, contributing to reducing unemployment rates and promoting economic growth in Indonesia.
