Abstract

Kedungsumur village is one of the villages in the Krembung Sub-district of Sidoarjo Regency which has problems with the provision of clean water. Since 2014 the Kedungsumur village has received assistance from the local government in the form of deep wells to meet the needs of clean water. The clean water supply system is then managed by an agency called the Management Agency for Water Supply and Sanitation Facilities (MAWSSF) Tirto Wening. As time went by, the number of MAWSSF Tirto Wening clean water customers continued to increase which caused difficulties for administrators to recap their income and monthly expenses. By this meeting, through the community partnership program from Kemenristekdikti, will provide science and technology assistance to improve the MAWSSF and at the same time provide an overview through simulation of future income and expenditure by using data pre-existing data. The results of this community partnership program show that customer identification in the form of tables has specified the address, the last date of payment, and the total volume of clean water usage, the number of customers until June 2018 there are 234 new customers, and the simulation results show that in January 2018 the board Manager of Water Supply and Sanitation Facilities (MAWSSF) Tirto Wening has been able to affix a profit of Rp.4,560,000.00.

Abstract

The formation of quality human resources (HR) is influenced by many factors, one of which is about the quality of health of young people at the best level. Borax is a chemical compound derived from heavy metals boron (B). Borax is an anti-septic and bacterial killer. In Regulation of the Minister of Health No. 722 / MenKes / Per / IX / 88 borax is stated as a hazardous material and is prohibited to be used in making food. Bulusidokare Subdistrict, Sidoarjo Subdistrict, is an area that is close to learning environments such as schools and Tutoring, so that it is vulnerable to foods that contain hazardous Food Additives (FA). Therefore, it is necessary to provide counseling training to housewives about the dangers of borax to health and how to analyze the content of borax in a simple and inexpensive way. The test material used is turmeric and toothpicks. While the samples to be tested are pentol, sausage, tofu, and borax. Borax is a FA which is very dangerous for health, the highest dose limit of 10-20 gr / kg of adult bodys weight and 5 gr / kg of body weight of children will cause poisoning and even death. Food ingredients that contain borax experience discoloration on toothpicks that have been soaked in turmeric solution which is red. The method of analyzing the content of borax using turmeric is a simple and inexpensive method because it uses ingredients that are always available at home, and the method of analyzing the content of borax using turmeric can be applied to food ingredients with soft texture.

Abstract

Many community activities make people tend to look for something that is instant for consumption, one of which is consuming instant noodles. People assume that instant noodles have good nutrition for consumption, not even a few who classify as nutritious food. The low level of knowledge can be due to the fact that the advertising process circulating in the media, especially television, is not balanced with education about healthy food from related parties. Then knowledge is very important to provide understanding to the community by transferring knowledge through education. To overcome this, a health education for the community is needed in the form of counseling about healthy food and the impact of instant noodles on health. This research is descriptive quantitative with cross sectional data collection techniques namely questionnaire distribution and questionnaire collection which is carried out on one day.
