Abstract

Abstract: This qualitative descriptive study aims to determine and analyze students' mathematical reasoning abilities and self-concepts in terms of gender in seventh grade junior high school students based on triangles and quadrilaterals. The subjects of this study were students of class VII SMP, totaling 22 students. The research instrument was in the form of a test consisting of four description questions and 20 self-concept questions. The indicators of mathematical reasoning that are measured are drawing sketches, analogies, proportional reasoning, and generalizations. The results of this study showed that the mathematical reasoning abilities of female students performed better than male students. In addition, students' self-concept analysis based on questionnaire data on mathematical reasoning abilities was in the good category.Keywords: Mathematical Reasoning; Self Concept; Gender

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis kesalahan pemahaman konsep siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal terkait operasi hitung pecahan berdasarkan Teori Newman pada siswa kelas IV SDI Luqman Al-Hakim Bojonegoro. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SDI Luqman Al-Hakim Bojonegoro Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021 yang berjumlah 22 siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan peneliti adalah observasi, soal tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis-jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam pemahaman konsep operasi hitung pecahan berdasarkan Teori Newman yaitu : (1) kesalahan memahami masalah yaitu siswa tidak lengkap dalam menuliskan informasi yang ada dalam soal, (2) kesalahan transformasi masalah yaitu siswa tidak bisa menulis operasi hitung yang digunakan dengan benar, (3) kesalahan ketrampilan proses yaitu siswa tidak menggunakan prosedur penyelesaian dengan benar, (4) kesalahan penulisan jawaban akhir yaitu siswa tidak dapat menuliskan kesimpulan dengan benar. Kesalahan yang tidak dilakukan siswa adalah kesalahan membaca soal.Kata kunci: Kesalahan; Newman; Konsep; PecahanAbstract: This research to describe the types of students concept errors in solving problems fraction operation  with the Newman’s theory in the fourth grade Luqman Al-Hakim Integral Elementary School Bojonegoro. The approach research used is a qualitative approach with a qualitative descriptive type. The subject is  fourth grade Luqman Al-Hakim Integral Elementary School Bojonegoro in 2020/2021 Academic Year totaling 22 students. The research method used is observation,  test questions, interview, and documentation. The research data show that the types of students concept errors in solving problems fraction operation  with the Newman’s theory : (1) comprehension errors, students are not complete in writing the information in the questions, (2) transformation errors, students can’t write which arithmetic operations are used correctly, (3) process skill errors, students don’t use solution the procedure correctly, (4) conclusion errors, students can’t write conclusions correctly. Abstract

This research is a development research that aims to produce an instrument for measuring mathematical literacy by looking at the procedures and analyzing the quality of the instrument developed. This type of research is research and development which consists of 4 stages, namely: (1) preliminary stage, (2) self-evaluation stage, (3) prototyping stage and (4) field test stage. In this validation, the measurement instrument is declared valid with a validity coefficient of 0.68 which is in the range of 0.4 < V 0.8. The results of the empirical validation test meet the valid criteria for all items. The results of the reliability test by students obtained a total score of 0.80. This value indicates that the reliability of the measurement instrument in the very high category means that it is reliable. The results of the test of the level of difficulty by students obtained an average score of 0.52. This value indicates that the level of difficulty of the measurement instrument is in the medium category. The results of the test of discriminating power by students obtained a final score of 0.32. This value indicates that the level of discriminating power of the measurement instrument is in the good category. The results of the practicality level trial by students obtained a score of 81.15%. This value indicates that the level of practicality of the measurement instrument is in the positive category. The results of the effectiveness test obtained a percentage of 66.67% with a good category.Keywords:Measurement Instrument; Mathematic Literacy; Contextual Approach

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there was an effect of the STAD Type Cooperative Learning Model on Learning Outcomes of Primary Mathematics Circles for Class VIII Even Semester SMP Negeri 1 Padangan. The population of this study were all students of SMP Negeri 1 Padangan class VIII. The samples taken were three classes. The data collection technique used is the method used for data collection in this study by using the documentation method, and the test method in the form of multiple choice questions as many as 20 questions. The test instruments used were content validity, item validity, discriminatory power, level of difficulty, and reliability. The prerequisite test used is the normality test using the Lilliefors method and the homogeneity test using the F test. The data analysis technique used is the t test. The results of the calculation in the data analysis show that x = 81.6129 and x = 69.0625, s_1^2 = 132.286 and s_2^2 = 186.189, Fcount = 1.5102 > Ftable = 1.825 (Ho is accepted and the variance is homogeneous), it is obtained tcount = 4.0357 > ttable = 1.999 so Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. even the 2017/2018 school year.Keywords: STAD; Math Learning Results

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem BasedLearning (PBL) terhadap kemampuan literasi matematika siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksankan di SMPN 4 Majene padasemester ganjil tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX SMPN 4 Majene, teknikpengambilan sampel penelitian ini menggunakan Sampling Purposive dimana kelas yang terpilih yaitu kelas IX.A sebagaikelas eksperimen dan kelas IX.C sebagai kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Quasi EksperimentalDesign. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan adanya perbedaan pada keterlaksanaan pembelajaran oleh siswa dimana padakelas eksperimen berada pada kategori sangat baik sedangkan kelas kontrol berada pada kategori baik. Selanjutnya hasilanalisis inferensial menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan literasi matematika siswa padapembelajaran matematika antara kelas yang menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan kelas yangmenggunakan model pembelajaran langsung, dengan nilai signifikansi pada kedua kelas yaitu 0,000 < 0,05. Adapun nilai N-Gain Score untuk kelas yang menggunakan model Problem Based Leraning (PBL) berada pada kategori tinggi sedangkankelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung berada pada kategori sedang.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik kelas X-6 SMA Negeri 1 Balen Bojonegoro Tahun Pelajaran 2021-2022 dengan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning dengan media LKPD dan Quizizz. 2) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X-6 SMA Negeri 1 Balen Bojonegoro Tahun Pelajaran 2021-2022 dengan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning dengan media LKPD dan quizizz. Metode Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan McTaggart berlangsung selama tiga siklus, dan setiap siklus terdiri dari : perencanaan (plan), pelaksanaan (Act), Pengamatan (observe), dan refleksi (reflect). Analisis data dalam penelitian ini meliputi mengumpulkan dan mengolah data secara kuantitatif berdasarkan hasil observasi dan hasil penilaian (unjuk kerja) dari setiap siklus sehingga peneliti dapat mengetahui prosentase peningkatan pemahaman materi Sistem Jaringan Komputer dan Internet pada peserta didik kelas X yang kemudian dideskrifsikan untuk diambil suatu kesimpulanterdapat peningkatan presentase kelulusan dari tahap siklus I, Siklus II dan siklus III. adapun pada tahap Siklus I hanya sebesar 18 (56,25%) siswa yang mencapai nilai ketuntasan dan pada siklus II terdapat 25 (78,13%) siswa yang mencapai nilai ketuntasan serta pada siklus III terdapat 32 (100%) siswa yang mencapai nilai ketuntasan, Sehingga perolehan peningkatan ini telah memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan secara klasikal 100% siswa harus memperoleh nilai ≥ 70.Kata kunci: PBL; Media LKPD; Quizizz; Hasil BelajarAbstract: The purposes of this study are 1) to increase the learning motivation of students in class X-6 SMA Negeri 1 Balen Bojonegoro for the 2021-2022 academic year with the Project Based Learning learning model using LKPD and Quizizz media. 2) to improve the learning outcomes of students in class X-6 SMA Negeri 1 Balen Bojonegoro for the 2021-2022 Academic Year with the Project Based Learning learning model with LKPD and quizizz media. This research method is Classroom Action Research (PTK) model Kemmis and McTaggart lasts for three cycles, and each cycle consists of: planning (plan), implementation (Act), observation (observe), and reflection (reflect). Data analysis in this study included collecting and processing data quantitatively based on the results of observations and assessment results (performance) of each cycle so that researchers could find out the percentage of increased understanding of the material on Computer Network Systems and the Internet in class X students which were then described to draw a conclusion. increase in the percentage of graduation from the stages of cycle I, Cycle II and cycle III. while in Cycle I only 18 (56.25%) students achieved a completeness score and in cycle II there were 25 (78.13%) students who achieved a completeness score and in cycle III there were 32 (100%) students who achieved a completeness, so that the acquisition of this increase has fulfilled the classical completeness criteria 100% of students must obtain a score of ≥ 70 Keywords: PBL; Media LKPD; Quizizz; Learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of using comics as a learning medium in mathematics. This research method is the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method. This method includes identifying, reviewing, evaluating and interpreting all available research in the form of journals, articles and others. Based on the results of the study, it was found that comics were an interesting, simple, and easy-to-understand learning medium for students so as to facilitate the teaching and learning process and increase learning motivation and improve student learning outcomes.Keywords:comik: Learning media: Mathematics

Abstract

Abstrak: Geometri adalah salah satu cabang ilmu matematika yang berkaitan dengan titik, garis, bentuk bidang dan ruang. Geometri yang berkaitan dengan bentuk ruang adalah materi bangun ruang, terkhusus yang akan dibahas adalah bangun ruang kubus. Dalam belajar bangun ruang kubus pasti akan menemukan suatu masalah, oleh karena itu kemampuan menyelesaikan masalah adalah suatu cara yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kualitas siswa dalam memahami materi bangun ruang kubus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika, khususnya bangun ruang kubus berdasarkan teori Polya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan tes kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah berupa pemberian soal dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa tingkat kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika pada materi bangun ruang kubus berdasarkan teori Polya adalah “baik”. Siswa dapat menyelesaikan masalah dengan cara mengidentifikasi masalah, merencanakan penyelesaian masalah, menyelesaikan masalah, dan memeriksa kembali. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa dapat terbantu dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika pada materi bangun ruang kubus berdasarkan teori Polya. Kata kunci: Menyelesaikan Masalah; Kubus; Teori Polya. Abstract: Geometry is a branch of mathematics that deals with points, lines, shapes and spaces. Geometry related to the shape of space is the material of building space, especially what will be discussed is the shape of a cube. In learning to build a cube, you will definitely find a problem, therefore the ability to solve problems is the right way to improve the quality of students in understanding the material for building cubes. This study aims to determine how the students' ability to solve mathematical problems, especially to build a cube based on Polya's theory. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection technique used is to test students' ability to solve problems in the form of giving questions and interviews. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the level of students' ability to solve mathematical problems in the material of building a cube based on Polya's theory was "good". Students can solve problems by identifying problems, planning problem solving, solving problems, and checking again. From these results it can be concluded that students can be helped in solving mathematical problems in the material of building a cube space based on Polya's theory. Keywords: Solve the problem; Cube; Polya's Theory

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan jenis-jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan oleh siswa kelas VIII-H SMP Negeri 1 Soko saat menyelesaikan materi SPLDV (Sistem Persamaan Linier Dua Variabel) berdasarkan Teori Newman. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 8 dari 32 siswa kelas VIII-H SMP Negeri 1 Soko.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal SPLDV masih mengalami kesalahan pada tahapan-tahapan Teori Newman, yaitu: kesalahan membaca, kesalahan memahami, kesalahan transformasi, kesalahan ketrampilan proses, kesalahan penulisan jawaban akhir. Kata kunci: Analisis kesalahan, Teori Newman, SPLDV.Abstract: The purpose of this study was to describe the types of errors made by class VIII-H students of SMP Negeri 1 Soko in solving the SPLDV (Two Variable Linear Equation System) material questions based on Newman's Theory. This type of research is qualitative. The subjects of this study were 8 students taken from 32 students of class VIII-H SMP Negeri 1 Soko. The results showed that students in solving SPLDV questions still experienced errors at the stages of Newman's theory, namely: reading errors, understanding errors, transformation errors, process skill errors, writing errors in the final answer.Keyword: error analysis, Newman theory, SPLDV.

Abstract

The research was carried out by researchers with the aim of analyzing the mathematical understanding of the students of SMPN 3 Bojonegoro on the probability material based on the APOS theory. This research method is qualitative by using a qualitative descriptive approach with the researcher acting as the key instrument or main instrument. Based on the results of the analysis of mathematical understanding of students at SMPN 3 Bojonegoro based on APOS Theory. In the framework of the action stage, the subject has a tendency to explain and present the given opportunities. Subjects in the process stage framework have a tendency to explain, present and classify questions about probability events. Subjects in the process stage framework are subjects who have a tendency to explain, present, classify and apply concepts and procedures.
