Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of using the TikTok application on students' learning motivation at MI Muhammadiyah 2 Solokuro. In contrast to previous findings that highlighted the negative side of social media, this study reveals that TikTok can be used as a fun and effective learning support tool. Using a qualitative descriptive approach and phenomenological method, data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation of fifth grade students, parents, and the school environment. The results of the study show that the use of TikTok can increase learning motivation, enrich insight, and stimulate students' creativity. However, on the other hand, excessive use also has the potential to cause dependence and health problems. Therefore, the use of TikTok as a learning medium needs to be done wisely with the supervision of parents and teachers. This study is expected to be a basis for further studies that examine the long-term impacts and quantitative influences of social media in the world of education.

Abstract

Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk dasar perkembangan kognitif, sosial-emosional, bahasa, dan karakter anak. Namun, mutu layanan PAUD di Indonesia masih menghadapi tantangan berupa kesenjangan kualitas proses, keterbatasan kompetensi guru, dan kebutuhan akan inovasi pembelajaran yang relevan dengan konteks lokal maupun global. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis konsep, kebijakan, dan temuan empiris terkait pengembangan inovasi pembelajaran di PAUD melalui pendekatan literature review. Metode yang digunakan adalah telaah sistematis terhadap berbagai sumber nasional dan internasional berupa artikel jurnal, buku akademik, laporan penelitian, dan dokumen kebijakan. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan strategi pencarian literatur dengan kata kunci yang relevan, diseleksi berdasarkan kriteria inklusi-eksklusi, kemudian dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa inovasi pembelajaran yang efektif di PAUD harus berbasis pada kebutuhan perkembangan anak, menekankan kualitas interaksi guru–anak, menggunakan pendekatan bermain bermakna, serta mempertimbangkan konteks budaya lokal. Kebijakan nasional seperti Kurikulum Merdeka dan Profil Pelajar Pancasila memberi peluang besar bagi pendidik untuk mengembangkan praktik inovatif, meskipun implementasinya masih menghadapi tantangan pemerataan mutu dan keterbatasan kompetensi guru. Penelitian empiris di Indonesia maupun global juga menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan inovasi sangat bergantung pada dukungan pengembangan profesional guru secara berkelanjutan.
