Abstract

Education serves as the primary foundation in shaping students' characters. Teachers play a crucial role in the realm of education. Thus, issues related to educators or teachers should be prioritized. This research aims to discuss the concept of Ruhul Mudarris in shaping students' characters. The qualitative method is employed with a literature review approach, drawing data from various primary and secondary sources. The study illustrates that the "ruh" or soul of a teacher holds greater significance than the teacher themselves in the learning process. This aligns with the philosophy, "At-Thoriqotu ahammu min al-maddah, al mudarris ahammu min at-thoriqoh, wa ruhul mudarris ahammu minal mudarris binafsihi."

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pengaruh & metode KH. Afnan Anshori dalam menerapkan konsep pendidikan Islam kepada masyarakat pesisir Lamongan. Konsep atau ide-ide beliau merupakan hal yang menarik ditulis oleh peneliti karena beliau juga merupakan tokoh agama Islam lokal kecamatan Brondong yang disegani oleh banyak masyarakat pesisir Lamongan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif maka metode penelitiannya deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis datanya menggunakan reduksi data, Induktif, Deduktif, Komparasi, & Deskriptif. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan: 1) Kondisi keagamaan masyarakat pesisir pada saat itu tercampur dengan paham komunis, budaya tahayyul & Khurafat. 2) Konsep konsep pendidikan Islam KH. Afnan Anshori sangat efektif  dalam meningkatkan pemahaman keagamaan masyarakat di pesisir Kabupaten Lamongan. 3). Faktor pendukung dan penghambat KH. Afnan Anshori sangat berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan pemahaman keagamaan masyarakat di pesisir Kabupaten Lamongan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to determine the effect of persistence in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) on the muhadharah activities of Muhammadiyah 14 Paciran Middle School students. This type of research is quantitative research using a sample size of 53 students. The instrument used is a multiple choice questionnaire and a correlation technique using product moment. The research results show the calculated r value is 0.549. The medium or sufficient category has a calculated r value in the range of 0.40 – 0.70 with a KD of 30.14%, while the KD of 69.86% is influenced by other factors. Hypothesis testing in this study can be concluded that the sample size is 53, df (N-n = 53-2 = 51), r calculated 0.549 and significance level 0.05, resulting in an r table of 0.4. because the calculated r is greater than the table r at a significance level of 0.05 (0.549 > 0.271). So the result is that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, in other words, there is an influence of the persistence of PAI learning on the muhadharah activities of Muhammadiyah 14 Paciran Middle School students.

Abstract

This research is classroom action research which uses descriptive methods. This research is motivated by the low interest and motivation of students to take part in teaching and learning activities which is caused by the use of teaching methods by teachers that do not arouse students' interest, so that this condition affects their learning achievement and creativity. One alternative that can be implemented to overcome this problem is to apply the quantum teaching method in teaching and learning activities. Meanwhile, the subject taken is fiqh, limited to the sub-subject of sacrifice. This research aims to describe teachers' abilities in managing quantum teaching methods, describe student responses to quantum teaching methods and describe student learning outcomes from implementing quantum teaching methods. The benefit of this research is to expand the initial reference for the author so that it can be applied in educational institutions wherever the author teaches, providing feedback for teachers so that it is possible to have good techniques in teaching and can contribute to improving teacher teaching achievement. The subjects of this research were students of class VIII MTs. Muhammadiyah 31 Cumleng, Brondong, Lamongan the pretest results of 66.67%. posttest was 88.89% classical pass.

Abstract

This journal aims to obtain a description of Islamic education in the perspective of Mohammad Natsir and Hasan Langgulung. The subject of this journal focuses on the thought of Muhammad Natsir and Education at that time tended to secular and dichotomised education systems, far from the touch of spiritualization. In addressing this problem it is necessary to bring in the Muslim figures who struggle in Islamic education among them Mohammad Natsir and Hasan Langgulung. This research uses a library method. (Library Reseahch). The data collected is then reinterpreted using descriptive analysis methods. In this article, the concept of Islamic education according to Mohammad Natsir and Hasan Langgulung is focused on four elements, namely on the purpose of education, educational material, methods of education and educators. It is the creation of a righteous man who believes in Allah and His Messenger, and the formation of a good people who follow the guidance of Islam in all their affairs.

Abstract

There is a problem with learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) which is considered monotonous, making students bored and not interested in studying PAI subjects, even if students are forced, the results will not be optimal. For this reason, a new formulation is needed, which in this case tries to apply a snowball throwing type cooperative learning model to improve student learning outcomes. This research was aimed at finding out the snowball throwing type cooperative learning model at Muhammadiyah 07 Blimbing Middle School as well as knowing the influence of the snowball throwing type cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of PAI subjects at Muhammadiyah 07 Blimbing Middle School. The snowball throwing type cooperative learning model is where the teacher divides the students into several groups, then after the teacher explains the material each group is given time to study the material again, the teacher prepares questions on sheets of paper then the paper is shaped like a snowball, then thrown to one of the students and the students The person who gets the question thrown is obliged to answer the question.

Abstract

The nature of a country is reflected in the people who live there. Considering that children are skilled imitators, it is important to instill character education in them from an early age. A child's progress will contribute to the nation's positive outlook on life in the future. On the other hand, the personality of a nation will also be bad if the younger generation has bad character. The Hizbul Wathan (HW) scouting movement provides a platform for developing student character in schools affiliated with Muhammadiyah. This research aims to explain the implementation of character education through HW scouting activities. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with case study. The research site is MI Muhammadiyah 2 Solokuro students from grades 3 to 6 who are active in taking part in HW scouting activities. The research findings show how character education initiatives through HW scouting activities are carried out regularly, through lectures and punishments. With this research, it is believed that character education in Indonesia will become more advanced in the future, one way is through HW scouting which is one way to make the country smarter.

Abstract

Generally, schools with good quality and reputation have a high level of work culture and discipline. However, not all school principals are capable of forming a disciplined work culture. In fact, they tend to overlook teacher discipline behavior. SMAN 7 Kota Kediri is one of the quality educational institutions that has been able to achieve various achievements. It turns out that the quality and achievements of educational institutions are due to the principal's establishment and habituation of disciplined behavior within the school organization. The research method used in this study is qualitative method. Data was obtained using interview, observation, and documentation methods. The results of the study indicate that the progress of SMAN 7 Kota Kediri is obtained due to disciplined behavior and becomes a school culture. In forming a disciplinary culture, the principal uses methods in several stages starting from: consistent socialization of disciplinary policies in evaluation meetings, forming teams to monitor the implementation of disciplinary behavior in the field, optimizing disciplinary behavior using checklock attendance tools, and giving preventive and curative sanctions to teachers who violate disciplinary policies. In order for disciplinary behavior to become a school disciplinary culture, the principal sets an example and provides exemplary behavior in every activity at school. In conclusion, the principal's strategy in optimizing teacher performance through habituation of disciplinary behavior runs effectively and successfully formed in the school organization as a work culture system.

Abstract

This study presents an analysis of learning methods found in hadith and their relevance in the context of modern education. Using a qualitative approach and content analysis, this study identifies four main methods found in the hadith: lecture, discussion, question and answer, and exemplification. The research findings show that these methods reflect pedagogical principles that can be effectively integrated in modern education. Discussion involves the exchange of ideas and critical thinking between teachers and students, in line with the collaborative learning approach valued in contemporary education. The question and answer method, used extensively by the Prophet Muhammad, encourages students' active participation and deepens their understanding of the material being studied. Meanwhile, practical demonstrations help students understand abstract concepts through hands-on experience. The results of this study have important implications for the development of Islamic values-based pedagogy in modern education. The integration of learning methods from hadith can enrich teaching practices by combining Islamic spiritual and ethical values with contemporary educational approaches that emphasize interactivity and active student participation.

Abstract

The Correlation of Dhuha Prayers on the Spiritual Intelligence of Students at Mim 12 Betiring Brondong Lamongan for the 2022/2023 Academic Year. Thesis, S-1 Program of Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Paciran Muhammadiyah Islamic College, Lamongan. This research is motivated by the existence of problems in the rapid development of internet technology, namely the large number of shows through social media that no longer see the age limit and also the existing context, often conflict with religious and cultural values, resulting in a decline in ethics and also children's manners in life. every day because of the influence from the outside world that he sees. Not only that, deviations also occur in the norms of life, both religious and social. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation of Duha prayer on the spiritual intelligence of students at MI Muhammadiyah 12 Betiring. Spiritual intelligence (Spiritual Quotient abbreviated as SQ) is intelligence to solve problems of meaning and value, namely intelligence to place behavior and life in the context of a broader and richer meaning, intelligence to judge that one's actions or way of life is more meaningful than others (Zohar , 2001: 12). The research method used in this study is a quantitative research method. Data collection techniques in this study were questionnaires and interviews. This research will be carried out by distributing questionnaires to MI Muhammadiyah 12 Betiring students. Data analysis will be carried out using a simple linear regression analysis method. The results showed that based on the analysis of hypothesis testing, either the F test or the T test, it was known that the conclusions of the two hypotheses were to reject H0 and accept Ha. This conclusion means that there is a significant and positive correlation simultaneously or partially with Duha prayer on the spiritual intelligence of students at MI Muhammadiyah 12 Betiring. The Coefficient of Determination also shows a very good number, which is 82.4%. The results of this study mean that the implementation and implementation of Duha prayer at MI Muhammadiyah 12 Betiring can achieve the desired goals and targets.
