Abstract

This research aims to discuss the role of memorizing the tahfidz hadith of Maudzu'i students at the eLKISI Islamic Center Islamic Boarding School in the Ramadhan preaching caravan in Mojorejo village, Pungging sub-district, Mojokerto district." This research is qualitative research with a case study approach, which means this research was conducted in a natural context to understand the phenomena that occur. The methods used include various techniques to carry out in-depth interpretation of the phenomenon. The results of this research explain that the memorization of tahfidz hadith by students at the eLKISI Islamic Center Islamic Boarding School has an important role in the Ramadhan Da'wah Caravan in the Village. This memorization helps students convey Islamic messages and teachings more clearly and authentically, provide accurate explanations and interpretations, increase courage and self-confidence, and strengthen the diversity of the community in understanding and practicing Islamic teachings. Education to memorize the tahfidz hadith of Maudhu'i by combining classical classroom learning and halaqoh learning in the mosque has a very positive and satisfying impact in forming a mental readiness to preach in the community or in remote areas.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how parents' parenting styles contribute to the development of their children's potential, how the potential of CIBI children manifests, and whether there are supporting and inhibiting factors in developing the potential of CIBI children at Muhammadiyah Dharma Tanjung Elementary School in grades IV, V, and VI. This research employs a descriptive-qualitative method using interviews, observation, and documentation as data collection techniques. The data analysis process includes data categorization, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity is ensured through participant extension, careful observation, triangulation, and verification. The results of this study conclude that, first, the parenting styles applied by parents include democratic, neglectful, authoritarian, and permissive styles. Second, the children's potential includes intellectual potential, physical potential, and musical or artistic intelligence. Third, the economic background (whether high or low) of the parents significantly influences the development of CIBI children's potential, based on field observations and findings, acting as either a support or barrier to the development of the child's potential.

Abstract

Mental and spiritual education is highly effective in today's educational world. With strong mental and spiritual foundations, students can be guided toward glory and success. The Sumber Pendidikan Mental Agama Allah (SPMAA) Islamic boarding school is one of the educational institutions that operates in the fields of social, education, and environment. The focus of education at SPMAA is on instilling Islamic values through various life practices, strengthening the faith and mentality of the students, and training them as the nation's future generation, who will contribute to community empowerment. The purpose of this research is to explore how SPMAA instills Islamic values in its students to enhance their mental and spiritual development, enabling them to contribute to community empowerment. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method. The findings of the study include: first, the Mental Education at SPMAA, which involves instilling Islamic values in students, has produced cadres who are ready to engage with society as agents of community empowerment. Second, the education system at SPMAA, compatible with the lifelong learning system, creates broader and more varied learning media and practices. Third, SPMAA is not only focused on Islamic education but also on social and environmental issues

Abstract

Concerned about students' lack of religious insight and self-confidence, SD Muhammadiyah 4 Pucang used PIK activities as a solution. This research was conducted because it was found that students still did not understand the application of religious sciences. Apart from that, it was also found that there was a crisis of self-confidence among students who tended to be introverted, did not want to express their opinions and were embarrassed to speak in public. The research method used is a quantitative method. The quantitative research approach uses a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire which is filled out by SD Muhammadiyah 4 students. From the results of the questionnaire, research results are found which are then narrated and supported with documentary evidence during data collection. PIK activities emphasize religious education and the habituation of students to worship as well as faith and morals. PIK activities include delivery of materials in class, guidance on the jurisprudence of worship in mosques and halls, and getting used to congregational prayers on time. Train students' interests, talents and courage by giving students the opportunity to appear as muezzins, religion lecturers, performers, and being dare to ask and answer during the material. Students' religious insight increased by 15% and students' self-confidence increased by 16% after participating in PIK activities. PIK activities (variable X1) have a significant effect on increasing religious insight (variable Y1) by 0.863. PIK activities (variable X1) have a significant effect on increasing student self-confidence (variable Y2) by 0.884. PIK activities (variable X1) have a significant effect on religious insight (Y1) and student self-confidence (Y2) amounting to 0.873

Abstract

This study aims to determine the positive impact of learning interest on student achievement in the Aqidah Akhlak subject for class XI MIPA 2 at MA Muhammadiyah 1 Paciran. The research uses Parametric Statistical Analysis with a quantitative approach, involving 20 respondents. The collected data were analyzed using parametric statistical techniques. The hypothesis testing of this research shows that: 1) The influence of learning interest on student achievement in the Aqidah Akhlak subject for class XI MIPA 2 at MA Muhammadiyah 1 Paciran is moderate. This is indicated by the frequency percentage of learning interest in the Aqidah Akhlak subject for class XI MIPA 2, which is highest at 55%. 2) The student achievement in the Aqidah Akhlak subject for class XI MIPA 2 at MA Muhammadiyah 1 Paciran is good. This is shown by the percentage of students who scored above the Minimum Passing Criterion (KKM), which reached 55%, specifically in the interval above 82. 3) The result of the hypothesis testing shows that the rtabel value for the degrees of freedom (df) = 20-2 = 18 with a 5% significance level is 0.443, while the rhitung value is 0.605. Since rhitung is greater than rtabel, it means there is an influence between learning interest (X) and the variable of learning achievement in the Aqidah Akhlak subject (Y).

Abstract

This The Qur'an is the holy book of Islam, serving as a guide to life. Reciting the Qur'an is both worship and a means of understanding its teachings. However, students often lack proper Qur'anic reading skills due to low motivation and inappropriate teaching methods. This study examines the impact of the morning Qur'an recitation (tadarus) program on improving students' reading skills at MAM 01 Paciran. The tadarus program is conducted before classes to habituate students to recite the Qur'an according to tajweed rules. Results show that the program effectively enhances reading skills through habituation, awareness, and love for the Qur'an. Students who actively recite and listen to their peers and teachers demonstrate significant improvements. Educational and family backgrounds also influence initial skills. This study provides recommendations for implementing similar programs to improve Islamic education quality.

Abstract

Students did not respond to the material presented by the teacher, as a result, after the presentation of the learning material was completed and an evaluation was carried out, it turned out that out of 28 students consisting of 15 females and 13 males in class V of SDIT Nurul Akbar Klaten Utara, only 10 students had mastered the material. It was proven that out of 28 students in class V of SDIT Nurul Akbar Klaten Utara, they got an average class score of 60 and only 10 students got the same score or above the KKM 75, while the other 18 students got a score of less than 75. The purpose of this study was to describe the application of learning media using snakes and ladders learning media in improving PPKN learning achievement, Pancasila material, and its symbols for class V students in semester 1 of SDIT Nurul Akbar Klaten Utara in the 2022/2023 Academic Year. This research is an experimental research with Cycle 1 and Cycle 2 research designs. The subjects of this research were fifth-grade students in semester 1 of SDIT Nurul Akbar Klaten Utara in the 2022/2023 Academic Year. This research method uses qualitative, data collection techniques using tests, observations, and documentation with comparative data analysis techniques. The results of the data analysis were calculated from the beginning before the research, Cycle 1 research activities, and Cycle 2 research activities. Thus, it can be concluded that the snakes and ladders game can improve the learning achievement of fifth-grade students in semester 1 of SDIT Nurul Akbar Klaten Utara in the 2022/2023 Academic Year in PPKN on the Pancasila and its symbols material.

Abstract

This article analyzes the foundational framework of Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas's educational thought as a critical response to contemporary Islamic education's epistemological and moral crises. Al-Attas highlights the centrality of ta’dib as the essence of Islamic education, encompassing the internalization of Islamic values and ethics to shape individuals with adab and wisdom. His concept of the Islamization of knowledge serves as a strategic approach to filter Western secular influences in educational paradigms. This study employs a qualitative-conceptual approach through literature analysis of Al-Attas’s major works. The findings reveal that Al-Attas's thought is highly relevant for reconstructing a holistic, value-oriented, and spiritually grounded Islamic education system. This article contributes to developing an authentic and contextual philosophy of Islamic education amid the challenges of globalization.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model in improving elementary school students' mathematics learning outcomes. The study was conducted at Gudang Elementary School on 19 second-grade students, using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method for three cycles. The TGT model was chosen because it combines group work and educational games to create an active and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Data were collected through learning outcome tests and documentation. The results showed a significant increase in the average test scores and active participation of students. These findings indicate that the application of the TGT model is effective in improving elementary school students' understanding of mathematical concepts and learning engagement.  Keywords: cooperative learning, TGT, learning outcomes, mathematics.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian dilakukan di SD Negeri Gudang pada siswa kelas II sebanyak 19 orang, menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) selama tiga siklus. Model TGT dipilih karena menggabungkan kerja kelompok dan permainan edukatif untuk menciptakan suasana belajar aktif dan menyenangkan. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada rata-rata nilai tes dan partisipasi aktif siswa. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model TGT efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika dan keterlibatan belajar siswa sekolah dasar. Kata kunci: pembelajaran kooperatif, TGT, hasil belajar, matematika.

Abstract

The phenomenon of hedonism has been observed to engender a state of spiritual emptiness among Generation Z. However, this condition can be overcome through a spiritual approach, one of which is zuhud. The present study aims to identify the forms of hedonism among Generation Z and to explore the potential of zuhud as a solution to this problem. The present study employs a qualitative methodology, underpinned by a comprehensive literature review. The data sources for this study were drawn from various relevant literature sources, including books, journal articles, social media news, and other information sources. The results of the study indicate that Generation Z tends to consume luxury goods, engage in expensive treatments, and spend money to enhance digital experiences, such as online games and streaming platforms. Al-Ghazali’s concept of zuhd emphasises a balance between worldly and spiritual needs. The term zuhd is not to be equated with the idea of complete worldly withdrawal, but rather denotes the application of judicious worldly practices in conjunction with spiritual anchoring to Allah. The study’s findings suggest that the implementation of the zuhd concept can assist Generation Z in re-establishing spiritual values, thereby facilitating a more harmonious balance between worldly and afterlife concerns.
