Abstract

Security stability is a key factor in creating a prosperous society. In Islam, this security stability can be achieved through cooperation between the Ulama (Islamic scholars) and the Umara (Islamic leaders). The Ulama act as transmitters of religious teachings, bringing messages of peace and togetherness, while the Umara are responsible for implementing policies that ensure the welfare of society. This study examines the roles of the Ulama (Islamic scholars) and the Umara (Islamic leaders) in maintaining security stability and how synergy between the two can create a harmonious and prosperous society.

Abstract

The Friends with Benefits or FWBR phenomenon is now starting to be normalized. Especially among students in big cities in Indonesia. This takes into account that young people in these cities have higher mobility compared to other cities. Furthermore, massive mainstream media coverage regarding FWB experiences was also shared by several public figures. Examining this further, this occurs because several public figures have repeatedly experienced failed committed relationships and want to seek relationship satisfaction in other forms. This supports the rise of the FWB phenomenon among young people. FWB itself is a type of modern sexual relationship or can be said to be a form of casual sexual relationship. This relationship indicates that the phenomenon of having a casual sexual relationship has become something that is known and practiced normally by young people in Indonesia. Fulfilling each other's sexual needs has become The main points in having a FWB relationship. This is in line with the paradigm concept of sexual consent which is the main thing that must be fulfilled in a healthy relationship when having sexual relations. The existence of sexual consent is also an important point in a FWB relationship, which provides legitimacy to obtain "benefits" in the form of sexual relations between both parties which benefit each other. Therefore, this article will examine the causes of the emergence of FWB, its forms, implications. that occurred and tested the claims of its proponents which, if examined further, have many weaknesses.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of Shopee e-commerce on traditional market sales at Langkap Market, Burneh District, Bangkalan Regency, from a sharia economic perspective. The method used is descriptive qualitative through a literature review and interviews with the Head of Langkap Market as the main informant. The results show that the presence of Shopee e-commerce has caused a decline in sales, especially among clothing vendors in traditional markets, because consumers prefer the convenience and more competitive prices of digital platforms. This impact has forced vendors to switch to selling basic necessities that are still in demand in person. The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the shift in consumer behavior to e-commerce, although traditional markets continue to play a vital role in meeting urgent needs that cannot be met quickly by e-commerce. From a sharia economic perspective, this change requires a balance between technological advancements and the sustainability of micro-enterprises to maintain the principles of justice and welfare. This research provides important insights for developing strategies for preserving traditional markets in the digital era.

Abstract

Through the deliberate removal and appropriation of cultural artefacts from its colonized areas, the uncomfortable legacy of British colonialism has a dark chapter of a significant cultural upheaval, in addition to its economic exploitation and political domination. This study, which is framed within the notion of extractive colonialism, shows how the British Empire made the British Museum more of an imperial archive, rather than its own professed designation as a national public museum, that too in the disguise of facilitating preservation and academic research. Iconic attractions including the Rosetta Stone, the Elgin Marbles, the Benin Bronzes, the Amaravati Marbles, and the Winged Lions of Nimrud, form a tiny minority among the contested items in the collection of the museum. This study, through regional case studies from Egypt, Greece, India, Nigeria, and Central Asia, discusses how each instance serves as an example of the great colonial reasoning that valued British museological aspirations over indigenous heritage. It also examines the growing international calls for restitution and the monolithic opposition of the Museum that is backed by British legal instruments including the British Museum Act 1963. In addition to identifying the coercive, exploitative, or opaque patterns of acquisition, the paper also reflects on the role of global cooperation frameworks like the 1970 UNESCO Convention in addressing colonial-era state-sponsored cultural theft. Considering how these artefacts act as symbols of national pride, collective memory, and postcolonial resistance, the paper approaches distribution in a larger historical and legal context, rather than dealing with it as a purely moral demand. It argues that as long as the British Museum remain neglectful of the calls for restitution of stolen cultural artefacts, its professed objective of being a custodian of world heritage will remain debated unabated
