Journal of Community Empowerment is multidisciplinary scientific journal in the field of empowerment and community Service, published by the English Department Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram with a publication period of two times in one year, namely in June and December. This journal covers some general problems from the results of research implemented to the community services including (1) social humanities, science, applied science, economic, health, cultural, ICT Development, and administration services, (2) Training and improvement in the results of educational, agricultural, information and communication, and appropriate technology, (3) community empowerment, students community services, local food security, marketing, and less developed region. The purpose of this journal publication is to disseminate conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the field of service to the community. This journal accepts manuscript in Bahasa or English.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                                      Edukasi dan pelestarian peninggalan sejarah kepada mahasiswa pendidikan sejarah berkerjasama dengan masyarakata setempat mengenalkan tempat bersejarah dan mengadakan pembugaran makam Nyatok. Bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan pengetahuan tetang peninggalan sejarah dan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat untuk melestarikan peninggalan bersejarah yang ada di Desa Rembitan. Metode yang digunakan adalah mengenalkan tempat peniggalan sejarah dan bergotong royong bersama masyarakat melestarikan peninggalan sejarah seperti, Cakar budaya Masjid Kuno Rembitan, Rumah asli suku sasak Dusun Sade dan Makam Wali Nyatoq. Hasil dari kegiatan edukasi dan pelestarian tempat peningalan sejarah bahwa mahasiswa antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan edukasi dan pelestarian tempat peninggalan sejarah dan masyarakat juga antusias berkerjasama mengenalkan dan melestarikan tempat bersejarah di desa Rembitan.  Kata kunci: Edukasi Masyarakat; Peningalan Sejarah; Lombok Tengah. ABSTRACT The aim of this project is to educate history students on the importance of preserving historical heritage in collaboration with local communities. This includes introducing historical places and restoring the Nyatok tomb. The project seeks to provide insight into historical relics and promote socialization within the community to encourage of historical artifacts in Rembitan Village. The method used is to identify historical heritage sites and collaborate with the community to preserve them. Examples of such sites include the Rembitan Ancient Mosque, the traditional house of the Sasak tribe in Sade Hamlet, and the Tomb of Wali Nyatoq. Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                                     Tujuan  Program  Kemitraan  Masyarakat  (PKM)       adalah   memberikan pengetahuan tentang pembinaan Al-Islam dan kemuhammadiyahan dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai keberagaman bagi masyarakat, perbedaan sudut pandang, pendapat, harusnya tidak menjadi pemecah antara golongan yang satu dengan golongan yang lain, keberagaman harusnya menjadikan ikatan ukhawah islamiyah menjadi semakin erat. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah (penyuluhan), pelatihan, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) serta pembinaan kepada peserta masyarkat di desa tanak awu. Hibah dana sebesar dua juta rupiah dalam bentuk barang peralatan memasak diserahkan ke pihak mitra yang membentuk perkumpulan dakwah di desa tanak awu. Tujuannya agar silaturahmi semakin erat dan dapat memperkokoh tali silaturahmi meskipun adanya perbedaan pendapat hal tersebut yang akan menjadikan keberagaman tersebut menjadi keindahan dan bernilai Al-Islam serta sejalan dengan kemuhammadiyahan. hasil dari pengabdian terlihat dari keaktifan para tokoh agama dalam kegiatan FGD dan bertanya bagaimana konsistensi akan kegiatan pembinaan ini serta keberlanjutannya kepada pihak tim pengabdian. Masyarkat juga mengusulkan tindak lanjut kegiatan pengabdian ini untuk terus dilakukan di desa tanak awu,kec.pujut. Kata Kunci : Pembinaan, Al-Islam, Nilai-Nilai Keberagaman ABSTRACTThe aim of the Community Partnership Program (PKM) is to provide knowledge about the development of Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah in instilling the values of diversity in society, differences in viewpoints and opinions should not be a divide between one group and another, diversity should create bonds of brotherhood. Islamiyah became increasingly tighter. The methods used were lectures (counseling), training, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and guidance to community participants in Tanak Awu village. A grant of two million rupiah in the form of cooking utensils was handed over to partners who formed a missionary association in Tanak Awu village. The aim is to make the relationship stronger and strengthen ties despite differences of opinion, this will make this diversity beautiful and valuable to Al-Islam and in line with Muhammadiyah. The results of this service can be seen from the activeness of religious leaders in FGD activities and asking how consistent this coaching activity is and how sustainable it is for the service team. The community also proposed that follow-up activities for this service should continue to be carried out in Tanak Awu village, Pujut district.Keywords: Development, Al-Islam, Diversity Values

Abstract

ABSTRAK Stunting merupakan gangguan pada tumbuh kembang oleh anak yang diakibatkan karena gizi buruk, kejadian infeksi berulang dan stimulasi psikososial yang tidak memadai. Stunting adalah salah satu permasalahan gizi yang menjadi fokus Pemerintah Indonesia. Di Desa Bejaten berdasarkan observasi awal, terdapat 15 balita yang akan dilakukan skrining stunting, pengukuran dilakukan pada saat pelaksanaan Posyandu. Kondisi ini yang mendorong tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk melakukan kegiatan pemberian makanan tambahan kepada para balita tersebut. Hal ini diharapkan dapat mengurangi kejadian stunting, sehingga pertumbuhannya tidak akan mengalami gangguan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian adalah dengan melakukan skrining, pemberian makanan tambahan serta memberikan edukasi terkait stunting. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 7-25 Agustus. Hasil skrining menunjukkan 4(28,57%) balita masuk dalam kategori stunting, sedangkan 11(78,57%) tidak mengalami stunting. Untuk balita yang masuk dalam kategori stunting kemudian diberikan makanan tambahan sebanyak tiga kali. Setelah mendapatkan makanan tambahan dilakukan penimbangan berat badan, dan diperoleh hasil mengalami kenaikan berat badan. Para ibu juga diberikan edukasi mengenai bahaya stunting dan resep serta variasi menu makanan. Dengan adanya edukasi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kreatifitas ibu, sehingga nafsu makan balita naik karena adanya variasi makanan sehari-hari. Hasil akhir yang diharapkan adalah tidak adal lagi balita yang mengalami stunting. Kata kunci: balita; stunting; pemberian makanan tambahan; berat badan ABSTRACT Stunting is a developmental disorder in children caused by poor nutrition, repeated infections and inadequate psychosocial stimulation. Stunting is one of the nutritional problems that the Indonesian Government focuses on. In Bejaten Village based on initial observations, there are 15 toddlers who will be screened for stunting, measurements are taken during the implementation of Posyandu. This condition encouraged the community service team to carry out additional feeding activities for these toddlers. This is expected to reduce the incidence of stunting, so that their growth will not be impaired. The method of implementing community service activities is by screening, providing additional food and providing education related to stunting. This activity was carried out from August 7-25. The screening results showed that 4 (28.57%) toddlers fell into the stunting category, while 11 (78.57%) did not experience stunting. For toddlers who fall into the stunting category then given additional food three times. After getting additional food, weight weighing was carried out, and the results obtained had increased weight. Mothers are also given education about the dangers of stunting and recipes and variations of the food menu. With this education, it is hoped that it can increase the creativity of mothers, so that the toddler's appetite increases due to the variety of daily food. The expected end result is that there are no more stunted toddlers. Keywords: under-five; stunting; supplementary feeding; body weight.
