Abstract

This study aims to find out whether there is a contribution of leg explosive power, abdominal muscle strength, and balance to the ability to kick in a football game. This study included correlational descriptive research with three independent variables, namely, leg explosive power, abdominal muscle strength and balance, and one dependent variable namely the ability to kick the ball in a football game. The population of this study was students of SMA Negeri 4 Takalar. Through the random sampling technique, a sample of 40 students of SMA Negeri 4 Takalar was selected. Data collection techniques using tests measuring leg explosive power with long jumps, abdominal muscle strength using a stopwatch and balance device using static balance tests and the ability to kick the ball in football games with data analysis techniques used are single and multiple regression analysis which is analyzed using SPSS program computer facilities. At a significant rate of 95% or α= 0.05 Based on data analysis, the results were obtained: (1) There was a contribution of leg explosive power to the ability to kick the ball in a football game, a contribution value of 73.5% was obtained. (2) There is a contribution of abdominal muscle strength to the ability to kick the ball in football games, obtaining a contribution value of 41.7%. (3) There is a balance contribution to the ability to kick the ball in a football game, a contribution value of 29.5% is obtained (4) There is a contribution of leg explosive power, abdominal muscle strength, and balance simultaneously to the speed of the ability to kick the ball in a football game, a contribution value of 87.1% is obtained.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between leg explosive power, wrist flexibility, and hand-eye coordination on lay-up shooting ability. This type of research is a type of descriptive research. The research variables consist of independent variables, namely leg explosive power, wrist flexibility, and hand-eye coordination, while the dependent variable is lay-up shooting ability. The population in this study were all BKMF FIK UNM college college students with a research sample of 30 people. The sampling technique is to use "total sampling" meaning that the entire population becomes the sample. The data analysis technique used is correlation and regression analysis using the SPSS Version 22.00 system at a significance level of 95% or (α) = 0.05. Based on the results of data analysis, this research concludes that: 1). There is a relationship between leg explosive power and lay-up shooting ability, as proven by the calculated r-value (ro) = 0.680 (P=0.000 < α:0.05) for an R squared value (coefficient of determination) of 0.462. This means that 46.2% of lay-up shooting ability is explained by leg explosive power; 2). There is a relationship between wrist flexibility and lay-up shooting ability, as proven by the calculated r-value (ro) = 0.734 (P=0.000 < α:0.05) for an R squared value (coefficient of determination) of 0.539. This means that 53.9% of lay-up shooting ability in basketball is explained by wrist flexibility; 3). There is a relationship between hand-eye coordination, wrist flexibility, and lay-up shooting ability, as proven by the calculated r-value (ro) = 0.689 (P=0.000< α:0.05) for an R squared value (coefficient of determination) of 0.474. This means that 47.4% of lay-up shooting ability in basketball is explained by hand-eye coordination; 4). There is a relationship between leg explosive power, wrist flexibility, and hand-eye coordination on lay-up shooting ability, as proven by the calculated r-value (ro) = 0.768 (P=0.000< α:0.05) for an R squared (coefficient of determination) value of 0.590. This means that 59% of lay-up shooting ability in basketball is explained by leg explosive power, wrist flexibility, and eye-hand coordination

Abstract

This research aims to determine the contribution of arm explosive power and backstroke flexibility to plate serviceability in field tennis games. This research is a type of quantitative analysis research. The population and sample were tennis athletes from Polewali Mandar district, who were selected using a saturated sample, resulting in a sample of 20 people. The data analysis technique used was frequency using the SPSS Version 21.00 program. Based on the data analysis, it was obtained: 1) there is a significant contribution between the explosive power of the arm and the serviceability of the plate, as proven by the calculated r-value (ro) = 0.501 (p < 0.05). R square 0.251 This means that 25.1% of plate serving ability in tennis is influenced by arm explosive power. 2) There is a significant contribution between the flexibility of the backrest and the serviceability of the plate, as proven by the calculated r-value (ro) = 0.451 (p < 0.05). R square 0.204 This means that 20.4% of the ability to serve the plate in tennis is influenced by the flexibility of the backrest. 3) There is a significant relationship between the explosive power of the arm and the flexibility of the backkick on the serviceability of the plate, as proven by the calculated R value = 0.645 (P<0.05). R square value 0.417. This means that 41.7% of the ability to serve the plate in tennis is explained by the joint variables of arm explosive power and backbend flexibility.
