Abstract

Sehubungan dengan kondisi pandemi Covid-19, adanya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan suatu bentuk pendidikan dalam tridharma perguruan tinggi dalam pendidikan tinggi dalam meningkatkan kapasitas dirinya dengan cara terlibat langsung berperan serta melakukan upaya membantu masyarakat di daerah lokasi pengabdian untuk pencegahan, pemutusan rantai penyebaran Covid-19, dalam Peningkatan Kesadaran Masyarakat Desa Sisalean Tentang limbah penggunaan Masker Habis Pakai Terhadap Lingkungan dalam kegiatan ini mengedukasi masyarakat desa sisalean tentang penggunaan masker yang dibuang di sembarang tempat yang berdampak buruk bagi kesehatan dan lingkungan, berdasarkan hasil observasi yang kami lakukakan ke desa sisalean banyak masyarakat yang belum mengetahui tentang penggunaan masker yang sudah dipakai kemudian dipakai secara berulang dan setelah dipakai berulang masker tersebut dibuang disembarang tempat padahal anjuran pemerintah masker yang sudah dipakai cara pembuangannya dengan cara: (1) Mengumpulkan masker bekas sekali pakai; (2) Melakukan desinfeksi terhadap masker bekas tersebut. Desinfeksi masker bisa dilakukan dengan merendam masker dalam larutan desinfektan, klorin atau pemutih; (3) Merubah bentuk masker. Setelah dilakukan desinfeksi, masker harus digunting atau dirusak agar tidak dimanfaatkan kembali; (4) Buang ke tempat sampah domestik setelah dibungkus plastik yang rapat. Sesuai dengan edaran Menteri Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan, apabila Pemerintah telah menyediakan tempat sampah/drop box khusus masker di ruang publik, masyarakat bisa membuang masker sekali pakai tersebut di tempat sampah khusus masker yang telah disediakan; (5) Mencuci tangan dengan sabun dan air mengalir.

Abstract

The college coordinator is someone who is responsible for the college to coordinate and organize the teaching campus activities of class 4 of 2022. The main task of a university coordinator is to ensure that everything runs smoothly and is coordinated in accordance with the goals that have been programmed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. In the context of higher education or education, coordinators often have an important role in managing certain programs or activities, such as coordinating lecturers, coordinating students. The role of coordinators can vary depending on the scope and goals of the organization they work for. The duties of the coordinator include planning, organizing, supervising, and communicating with related parties to achieve the expected results. One of the government's target schools, especially the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology in improving the quality of education during the COVID-19 pandemic. Education services must continue to be carried out with limitations both in terms of human resources (HR) and readiness to utilize existing technology. Teaching Campus 4 in 2022 is a mentoring where lecturers as Field Assistance Lecturers (DPL), students and schools work together to provide good changes to the surrounding school environment. The purpose of this Teaching Campus activity is to provide assistance to target schools in order to provide services for teaching process activities by assisting students to assist teachers in adapting to technology and help improve school administration. The results of the 4th generation of teaching campus activities are the achievement of 75-85% of learning activities by fulfilling KKM, while in helping to adapt technology 95% is carried out very well because at the end of the activity teachers in elementary and junior high schools are familiar with Windows 10, Android, Microsoft Office, Whatshapp and Google Meet devices, in activities to help make offline learning materials (online), The RPP and school administration were 95% carried out well because at the end of the activity students succeeded in helping teachers to complete learning tools and improve school administration such as making questions, recapping student grades and attendance.

Abstract

The Farmer Work Group (KTK) of Pangkatan Village, Sidorukun District, Labuhanbatu Regency on its own initiative has been cultivating citronella (Cymbophogon nardus) since 2019. The obstacles faced by CEC today are limited public information on superior varieties of citronella and the benefits of citronella oil content. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase public knowledge about how to recognize and distinguish superior varieties of citronella plants and their content. This community service method is carried out by counseling in the form of material presentation and discussion about superior varieties and essential oil content in citronella. The material presented included training on the introduction of superior varieties and socialization of essential oil content in citronella. In the training process, the speaker interspersed it with several demonstrations and question and answer discussions. The results of the evaluation of activities showed an increase in public knowledge about several superior varieties of quality citronella oil.

Abstract

Pengembangan ekonomi setiap desa sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Pelaku usaha memiliki peran penting untuk meningkatkan roda perekonomian suatu desa. Diketahui bahwa desa Sidodadi PNK. Merupakan desa yang terletak dikecamatan Rantau Utara. Memiliki potensi yang cukup signifikan dalam meningkatkan nilai ekonomi masyarakat di desa Sidodadi PNK, pengabdian dilaksanakan di desa kelurahan pulo padang yang bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi tentang pembuatan logo (brand) dan kemasan pada pemilik usaha gula merah berbahan dasar nira kelapa sawit. Berdasarkan hasil obverservasi yang dilakukan saat melaksanakan pengabdian masyarakat ditemukan bahwa pelaku usaha gula merah berbahan baku nira kelapa sawit belum memiliki logo (brand) dan kemasan belum maksimal sebagaimana mestinya. Metode yang dilakukan yaitu observasi, wawancara, identifikasi masalah dan pelatihan dalam pembuatan brand. Hasil akhir pada pengabdian ini adalah pembuatan logo (brand) dan kemasan gula merah.

Abstract

This service aims to (1) provide solutions to the problems faced by UMKM, Making Dishwashing Soap and, Making Planting Media for Planting HYDROPONIC Water Spinach, (2) helping UMKM owners and Farmer Groups to be able to make planting media using hydroponics. Participants in this activity were from the people of Barnung Hamlet, Janji Village, West Bilah District, Labuhanbatu Regency. The method used in this activity is through counseling and outreach to the community. As a result of this activity, it is hoped that people will be able to make their own dishwashing soap at home so that they can reduce their budget and people can grow crops using hydroponic growing media in their own homes.

Abstract

This service aims to apply technology as a marketing strategy and logo for MSMEs to increase sales in Tanjung Siram village. This method of community service is to discuss, socialize and present how to market a product using technology and making a distinctive logo of the product. The results of this activity are expected by the people of Tanjung Siram village to have an increase in sales of MSME products. In community service in this activity for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) engaged in the business of food products in Tanjung Siram Village. For MSMEs, it is necessary to provide training in the importance of utilizing Digital marketing Technology so that the marketing system becomes better so as to expand the scope of their business targets. And can support even better sales. MSMEs are also given directions to provide a logo or characteristic of the products they sell to attract the attention of buyers when marketed. These MSMEs are given directions to use technology in the form of social media accounts, instagram, facebook, and how to manage digital media optimally. Applied to Micro and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to use technology that is growing rapidly day by day in this era of increasingly sophisticated technology, where the marketing process that uses digital technology can increase sales more rapidly.

Abstract

Currently, the use of gadgets has involved almost all ages, even elementary school children are familiar with using gadgets to play games. The development of gadgets has had a big impact on society, where previously elementary school children played games using various conventional gaming equipment, now they can easily play various games via gadgets. Gadgets, as electronic devices with a small form factor, are designed to provide specific solutions by combining advanced technology, and have a number of functions that are very helpful in various human activities. One of the main functions of gadgets is as an entertainment tool, especially for children who often use gadgets to play games. However, excessive use of gadgets can lead to addiction in children, which can have a detrimental impact on their development. Therefore, it is important to limit the use of gadgets so that children do not become addicted to them. These restrictions need to be implemented through the synergy of various parties, including educational institutions, parents and teachers. Educational institutions have a key role in providing education about the limits of gadget use. The curriculum must include children's understanding of when they should not use gadgets, when they can use gadgets within certain time limits, and how parents can provide the necessary guidance. The role of parents and teachers is very important in monitoring and guiding children to avoid gadget addiction. Discussion between parents and children regarding the time to use gadgets, both for playing games and for online learning activities, is very necessary. Apart from that, knowledge about the limits of gadget use must continue to be campaigned by various parties so that people become more aware of the impacts and risks of excessive gadget use. It is hoped that through this campaign and outreach, there will be positive changes in attitudes and behavior in elementary school children, leading to more responsible use of gadgets and awareness of the positive impact on themselves and the surrounding environment.

Abstract

The focus of service journal articles is on the issue of community empowerment through Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in improving community welfare. Conditions following the Covid-19 pandemic have resulted in declining MSME productivity, so there is a need for new innovations, especially in the marketing sector. The aim of the service is to find out the results of community empowerment through MSMEs in improving community welfare and the contribution of intern students in community empowerment efforts through MSMEs in improving the welfare of the people of the Cliff Linggahara Baru village in the post-Covid-19 period. The service methodology refers to the SISDAMAS method or a method based on community empowerment. The SISDAMAS method has several cycles consisting of social reflection, social mapping and community organizing, participatory planning and program synergy, program implementation and evaluation monitoring. The results of service in the form of community empowerment through MSMEs in improving community welfare are so that people can live more independently, prosperously and have knowledge about production businesses. The impact of community empowerment is firstly from a social perspective, the community can work together and build strong solidarity. Second, the impact on the economy, namely improving the economic level of society by earning sufficient income. Third, the impact on education is that people gain knowledge and insight after participating in community empowerment. The socialization activities are carried out as an effort to stimulate business actors to continue to be creative and innovate in their respective business fields by prioritizing digital literacy as an important point in facing the digital era like today. In the end, it is hoped that this activity will be beneficial for MSMEs in the culinary sector in the Jatinangor area by involving various parties such as business partners, academics, and local government so that the economy continues to grow and has a good impact on the local community.
