Abstract

The use of language in society is not only limited to reflecting local wisdom, but the language features contained  are able to build human character. The aim of this research is to describe the features of the Pohutu Momulanga language in forming the leadership identity of the Gorontalo people. Data was collected using paradox observer techniques and observation techniques. Research data was analyzed using pragmatic aspects by Leech (1983). The results of the research show that there are 5 (five) language features in Pohutu Momulanga's coronation ceremony, including: standard, literary, parable, rhyme, and archaic. Meanwhile, 5 (five) speech acts were found that were reflected in tuja'I, including: respecting, informing, promising, giving a message, and announcing.

Abstract

This research aims to assess the content validity of the instrument used to measure Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) in prospective chemistry teachers. The evaluation encompasses a thorough analysis of the instrument's alignment with the knowledge domains being measured, ensuring that the instrument covers key aspects of TPACK that are relevant to the context of teaching chemistry. Content validity reflects the representation and relevance of a set of items used to measure a concept carried out through rational analysis of the contents of the test through an expert panel assessment. This validity refers to the accuracy of the measurement based on the contents of the instrument to ensure that the scale of the items used has fulfilled the entire concept of the item or the suitability of the item. The instrument used in this study was assessed by nine validators consisting of two chemistry education experts and seven chemistry teachers. The assessment is done by determining the appropriateness or relevance of the test contents to be used through rational analysis by a competent panel or through expert judgment. The instrument validations in this study were 20 multiple choice questions. The assessment is done by giving a score of 1-4 on each item. This research is a quantitative descriptive study using Rasch model analysis. The analysis showed that the exact agreement was 71.4% and the expected agreement was 73.8%. Based on measurements showing relevant items in this research instrument, there are 17, among others number 1, 10, 11, 14, 5, 8, 19, 20, 18, 3, 6, 12, 13, 15, 17, 4 and 9. While there are 3 items that are irrelevant and need to be corrected, including number 16, 2 and 7.

Abstract

This research discusses the moral values ​​in Javanese Suluk Poetry under three titles, namely “Serate Pupils”, “Introspection” and “Ojo Dumeh”. In this research the author tries to examine the three suluk titles in everyday life. With social problems becoming more numerous and complicated, this research will relate them to existing social realities and will be linked to the values ​​that exist in Javanese suluk. In this research, we will discuss the moral values ​​of Suluk which are adopted from a literary sociology approach to analyze the moral values ​​contained in Javanese Suluk poetry, especially in two poems entitled “Serate Siswa”, “Introspection” and “Ojo Dumeh” . The focus of this research is on religious, social moral values ​​and human interaction with God as reflected in these literary works. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive analysis techniques to describe and explore information related to the moral values ​​in the two poems. The results of research on the three titles of Syair Suluk Jawa show that the poem “Serate Disciple” emphasizes the importance of manners, simplicity, and respect for others, by describing the relationship between students and teachers as a reflection of the relationship between humans and God. On the other hand, the poems, “Introspection” and “Ojo Dumeh” highlight the wisdom in looking at age and death, reminding people to continue to worship selflessly, and live life humbly. In conclusion, Suluk Javanese poetry, through sociological analysis of literature, is able to convey a deep moral message regarding human relationships with God and others. This research contributes to the understanding of the moral values ​​contained in Javanese literary works, as well as maintaining and introducing the uniqueness of Javanese culture to society.

Abstract

Number carriage game which is a simple math learning activity that is easy to play and can solve or find the sum of the results provided by the educator. The purpose of this study is to describe the results of cognitive development in totaling to group A PAUD KIA-KIRA Sedati Sidoarjo. The data analysis technique uses 3 stages, namely data reduction; data presentation; and conclusions or verification. Then triagulation and validity are carried out. The group studied was Group A (ages 4-5 years) totaling 14 students. Data was collected from the results of observation sheets and field notes.The results showed that the cognitive development of group A PAUD KIA-KIRA in adding up with the numbers carriage game at the stage of development as expected (BSH) but on the indicator symbol of numbers at the stage began to develop (MB). Factors that support the implementation of the number car play activities, namely students who are enthusiastic to play even though there are some who are not familiar with numbers and homeroom teacher support is always helpful while the inhibiting factor is the cognitive ability to read the symbols of student numbers is still lacking, because the media at school is lacking inadequate as well as the lack of creativities educator makes educational props tools (APE).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of educational services by school principals and to analyze the level of their leadership commitment in supporting the continuous improvement of education quality. As central figures in the governance of educational institutions, school principals play a multidimensional role, encompassing strategic, managerial, pedagogical, and symbolic functions that simultaneously influence the effectiveness of the school organization. The findings indicate that the principal’s level of commitment is positively correlated with the quality of strategic planning, resource management, and the development of a collaborative work culture oriented toward achieving institutional goals. Principals who demonstrate a high level of dedication to enhancing education quality tend to be more effective in building constructive supervision systems, establishing transformative visions and missions, and mobilizing stakeholder participation in data-driven decision-making processes. This study also affirms that the successful implementation of educational service programs is highly dependent on the principal’s capacity to navigate policy dynamics, resource limitations, and the socio-cultural complexities of the school environment. From a theoretical standpoint, this study reflects the relevance of transformational leadership and evidence-based management approaches as foundational to building adaptive and accountable educational institutions. The implications of this research emphasize that enhancing the professional capacity of school principals (in terms of integrity, managerial competence, and strategic vision) is a key determinant in realizing holistic, relevant, and sustainable educational service quality.
