Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the factors that affect Google Classroom (GC) acceptance among student’s photography courses in Politeknik Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah (POLISAS). The framework of the study is based on the Technology Acceptance Model. This study attempts to evaluate is there any significant relationship between1) perceived ease of use (PEOU) with perceived usefulness (PU) of GC usage? 2) perceived ease of use (PEOU) with behavioral intention (BI) to use GC usage? and 3) perceived usefulness (PU) with behavioral intention (BI) to use GC usage? The populations are 35 students who enrolled in the Photography course in June 2019 Session where GC is being applied as a teaching and learning (TnL) tool. 29 samples are collected based on simple random sampling. The Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling approach was used to determine the hypothesis model. Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient and Composite Reliability are used to determine the internal consistency reliability with the value > 0.8. The Factor Loading is > 0.5 with the range from 0.701 to 0.939 for convergent validity. Discriminant validity for HTMT is met with the value of constructs < 1. The results revealed that there is a significant relationship between PEOU with PU of GC usage, PEOU positively affects BI for students’ in the POLISAS photography club to use GC and the result indicates that there is no significant relationship between PU with BI to use GC. Further efforts and improvements should be done to student’s attitudes and behavior in applying TnL methods.

Abstract

The election of village heads is an integral part of the democratic process at the local level. However, there are often challenges in the vote-counting process that can impede the smooth implementation of village head elections. This article proposes designing a web-based Real Count information system for village head elections in the Tanah Sepenggal Lintas District. The main issue identified is the delay in vote counting, affecting the speed of the official announcement of results by the General Election Commission (KPU). The research methodology includes problem identification, analysis, goal setting, literature review, data collection, system analysis, system design, testing, and implementation. The resulting system aims to expedite and enhance the accuracy of vote counting using web-based technology, notably PHP and MySQL. This approach is expected to address traditional challenges in vote counting and provide quick and efficient information on the results of village head elections. The research findings indicate that the designed Real Count information system successfully improves the efficiency of vote counting, reduces the waiting time for official announcements, and provides transparent information on election results. Implementing this system is expected to positively enhance the integrity and speed of village head elections at the local level.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based Posyandu information system application at the Sub-District Health Center (Puskesmas) in Rantau Langkap Village as a step towards empowering and providing more effective health services to mothers, infants, and toddlers. Initial observations indicated that the manual data collection process, using methods such as paper-based or peperbase recording, posed challenges for Posyandu workers in monitoring participant data, often resulting in data loss and difficulty reading the handwriting. Therefore, this research introduces a solution by developing a web-based Posyandu information system. The study involves observation and interview methods, with the application of PHP programming language and MySQL as the database. The result is the implementation of a web-based Posyandu information system at the Sub-District Health Center in Rantau Langkap Village, providing ease in the data collection process and the generation of reports on infant and pregnant women data. The system is expected to enhance efficiency, prevent data loss, and ensure readability of information. Thus, this research contributes to efforts aimed at improving community health services at the village level through the utilization of information technology.

Abstract

This research discusses the design of a postage revenue information system for Temiang Island Post packages using the waterfall method. This method was chosen to ensure a structured and organized development process. The stage involves analyzing system requirements through interviews with stakeholders and in-depth understanding of business processes. System design includes database structure, user interface, and business logic, followed by the implementation phase utilizing web-based technology. Testing is carried out thoroughly to ensure system reliability, security and performance. This includes functionality, security, and performance testing to ensure that the system can operate effectively in a production environment. The system maintenance stage is implemented to ensure the system remains optimal and can adapt to changing needs. The results of this research are expected to provide practical guidance for organizations such as Pos Pulau Temiang in designing a web-based postage revenue information system. By applying the waterfall method, it is hoped that system development can be carried out in a structured and efficient manner. The conclusion of this research is that the waterfall method can be an effective approach in designing a web-based information system for postage revenue management in the Temiang Island Post operational environment.

Abstract

The process of determining the best lecturers must comply with predetermined criteria. To assist in selecting a person who deserves to be the best lecturer, a decision support system is needed. One method that can be used for a decision support sys tem is using the Weighted Product (WP) method by considering the criteria and weights. This method was chosen because it is able to choose the best alternative, namely the best lecturer based on the criteria entered, then look for the weight value of eac h attribute, after the process of looking for rankings to get the best alternative, namely the best lecturer. The WP method is used in determining the best alternative or the order of importance of alternatives. The results of this study are a web -based system developed using sublime text that can be used by admins to manage lecturer data, criteria and alternatives. Abstract

Applications that are growing rapidly have provided various benefits in various agencies. The office of the Mayor of Nagari Koto Gadang is a government agency whose attendance system for Nagari devices is still done manually using a note. In this study, researchers designed an attendance application using a QR Code which was implemented at the Office of the Mayor of Nagari Koto Gadang utilizing a manual presence system towards a digital system. This application is built with a high level of mobility that utilizes a smartphone device as a media presence. The development method used in the Nagari device presence system uses the Waterfall Model, the design uses UML. The application functions as a QR Code. With this application, the Nagari device presence process is carried out using a smartphone device as a medium. This makes the attendance process easier by using the presence application using an Android-based QR Code. In its implementation, the application will also use Kodular as a function to make scans on smartphone devices.

Abstract

The process of selecting outstanding teachers must comply with predetermined criteria. Where is the best alternative based on predetermined criteria. This method was chosen because it is able to choose the best alternative, namely the best teacher based on the criteria entered, then look for the weight value of each attribute, after the process of looking for rankings to get the best alternative, namely the outstanding teacher.

Abstract

Cattle are livestock that have high economic potential, both as beef cattle, livestock seeds and food ingredients. Cows are a good investment medium because the results can be sold or developed again and then sold at a price that is in accordance with the capital to care for them properly. for sale. Dharmasraya Regency is one of the districts that have the potential for beef cattle development. However, from year to year the cattle population decreases, this happens because of diseases that attack cattle and even the death of livestock and the lack of knowledge of farmers on handling cattle diseases is the main factor in the death of livestock and the lack of veterinarians. Therefore, it is necessary to have a system that can be used by officers and livestock groups to diagnose livestock diseases and find out how to handle them. Abstract

To increase the effectiveness of handling problems in the community sector, it is essential to overcome Human Resources (HR) management problems. Success in maintaining the integrity of HR information is crucial for allocating aid funds and handling various cases in the community. Therefore, the author developed a web-based PHP and MySQL HR processing information system to ensure practical, efficient and regularly arranged data handling to make retrieval easier. Implementing this information system has significantly impacted supporting the duties and responsibilities of the Rio Dusun Sepunggur Office. However, to increase the benefits of this system, steps are needed, such as further training for users, routine maintenance, regular evaluation of system use, and consideration of integration of functionality with other systems. By taking these steps, the HR processing information system can continue to be a valuable tool in maintaining the effectiveness of services and Human Resource Management at the village level, creating a sustainable positive impact on the community.

Abstract

In the world of education, the figure of a qualified educator is needed. The main task of the teacher is to teach, educate, guide, direct, train, assess, and evaluate students. In order to improve the quality of education, it is necessary to have a form of appreciation so that the quality of a teacher is even better. The form of appreciation for the teacher is applied by selecting outstanding teachers. The problem is that the selection process for outstanding teachers is still subjective. Because it is only based on the personal opinion of each teacher and is not based on certain criteria. The method used in this study is the Simple Additeve Weighting (SAW) method, often known as the weighted addition method. To avoid the subjectivity of the resulting decisions, a decision support system (DSS) is needed that can help assess teacher performance in deciding to become an outstanding teacher.
