Abstract

Abstract: This research was motivated by the lack of ability of the people of Nusa Indah, especially the elderly, to read the Koran. It is hoped that this research will help the people in Nusa Indah Village to be able to read the Koran according to the correct Tajwid reading instructions. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a case study type. The results of the research show that after learning to read the Al-Qur'an using the Iqra method, reading repeatedly, face-to-face, with homework, to increase interest in learning to read the Al-Qur'an, as well as the participation of elderly mothers in learning to read the Al-Qur'an becomes more conducive. Keywords: Al-Quran literacy, adults and the elderly, methods of reading the Al-Quran Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari kekurangmampuan masyarakat Nusa Indah terutama lansia dalam membaca Al-Qur’an. Penelitian ini  diharapkan dapat membatu masyarakat yang ada di Desa Nusa Indah agar dapat membaca Al Quran  sesuai dengan tuntunan bacaan Tajwid yang benar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah melakukan pembelajaran membaca Al Quran dengan metode Iqra, membaca berulang-ulang, tatap muka, Tugas Rumah, untuk meningkatkan minat belajar membaca Al Qur’an, serta partisipasi  ibu-ibu Lansia dalam belajar membaca  Al-Qur’an menjadi lebih kondusif.  Kata Kunci: Literasi Al-Quran, dewasa dan lansia, metode membaca Al-Quran

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tradisi Maulid Nabi Muhammad dalam sastra Banjar. Sastra Banjar merupakan karya sastra yang ditulis menggunakan bahasa Banjar atau karya sastra yang ditulis menggunakan bahasa Indonesia yang mengungkapkan sesuatu yang berkaitan dengan etnografi orang Banjar. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Data-data yang digunakan meliputi berupa kata-kata, frasa, kalimat, dialog para tokoh, dan paragraf yang berhubungan dengan tradisi Maulid Nabi Muhammad dalam karya sastra itu yaitu, Bacina Buta karya Hatmiati Masy’ud dan Jendela Seribu Sungai karya Miranda Seftiana dan Avesina Soebli. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tradisi Maulid Nabi Muhammad dalam sastra meliputi gambaran masyarakat yang bersama-sama saling gotong royong dalam pelaksanaan, seperti membersihkan dan menghias masjid, membuat bunga rampai, hingga menjadikan rangkaian kembang barenteng khas Kalimantan Selatan sebagai salah satu bagian yang tidak terlupakan. Selain itu, bulan mulud juga dianggap masyarakat Kalimantan Selatan sebagai bulan yang baik untuk melaksanakan pernikahan.

Abstract

Abstract Renewal of marriage contracts, or what is familiarly called tajdid nikah, has been very popular lately, based on various reasons, while positive law has regulated the obligation to register marriages, both in article 2 of the marriage law, KHI in article 6, and PMA no. 19 of 2018. This phenomenon which is contrary to statutory regulations is the author's attention in researching this legal phenomenon. Type of empirical normative legal research with a positive legal approach, with qualitative methods. The results of this research state that the factors causing tajdid nikah are divided into two parts, first; positive factors, such as errors in the implementation of previous contracts, which with this tajdid are straightened out so that the contract is valid. Second; negative factors, such as getting rid of bad luck, Sharpmul (beautifying the marriage contract), and hoping for blessings from certain scholars. Meanwhile, if viewed from positive law, the motive for tajdid nikah is mostly contrary to the positive law that is already in force, due to the lack of results from this tajdid practice. However, if the motive of the couple doing this tajdid is to correct a mistake, this is justified for the sake of the validity of their marriage. Keywords: Tajdid Nikah, Marriage Law Abstrak Pembaruan akad nikah atau yang akrab disebut tajdid nikah, sangat marak belakangan ini, dengan dilatari dari berbagai alasan, sedangkan hukum positif telah mengatur tentang wajibnya pencatatan pernikahan, baik pada pasal 2 undang-undang perkawinan, KHI di pasal 6, dan PMA no. 19 tahun 2018. Fenomena yang bertentangan dengan aturan perundang-undangan ini menjadi perhatian penulis dalam meneliti fenomena hukum ini. Jenis penelitian hukum normatif empiris dengan pendekatan hukum positif, dengan metode kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan, faktor penyebab terjadinya tajdid nikah ini dibagi menjadi dua bagian, pertama; faktor positif, seperti adanya kekeliruan dalam pelaksanaan akad terdahulu, yang dengan tajdid ini diluruskan agar akadnya sah. Kedua; faktor negative, seperti tradisi untuk buang sial, tajammul (memperindah akad nikah), dan mengharap barokah dari ulama tertentu. Sedangkan jika ditinjau dari hukum positif, motif tajdid nikah kebanyakan bertentangan dengan hukum positif yang sudah berlaku, dikarenakan nihilnya asil yang dilakukan praktik tajdid ini. Akan tetapi jika motif pasangan yang melakukan tajdid ini untuk memperbaiki kekeliruan, hal ini dibenarkan demi keabsahan dalam pernikahan mereka. Kata Kunci: Tajdid Nikah, Hukum Perkawinan

Abstract

Abstract Conservative Islam has a significant influence on Muslim societies, and the propagation of conservative Islamic preaching often takes place through social media. Therefore, research on conservative Islamic cyber preaching (Cyberdakwah) becomes important to understand how preaching is conducted and to identify the themes and messages conveyed by conservative Islamic preachers and scholars through social media. Thus, this research aims to provide an overview of conservative preaching and analyze the content of the preaching messages on the Instagram account @salaf.ittiba, which is one of the popular accounts for conservative Islamic preaching on social media. The method used for content analysis represents an effort to portray conservative Islamic preaching in the online realm. The research is conducted as a literature review employing a qualitative descriptive approach. Research data is examined through both literature and the posts available on the preaching account. The research findings indicate that the themes and messages conveyed by the @salaf.ittiba account revolve around Faith, Worship, and Morality. Furthermore, the conveyed preaching also emphasizes the significance of following the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and rejecting practices deemed as innovation (bid'ah). The conveyed preaching also tends to underscore conservative aspects of morality and religiosity. Oleh karena itu, penelitian tentang cyberdakwah ala Islam konservatif menjadi penting untuk mengetahui menggambarkan bagaimana dakwah yang dilakukan sekaligus mengidentifikasi tema dan pesan dakwah yang disampaikan oleh para dai dan ulama Islam konservatif melalui media sosial. Maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan gambaran dakwah konservatif sekaligus menganalisis isi pesan dakwah pada akun Instagram @salaf.ittiba, yang merupakan salah satu akun dakwah Islam konservatif yang populer di media sosial. Metode analisis isi yang dilakukan adalah upaya representasi dari dakwah Islam konservatif di dunia maya. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan ialah kajian pustaka menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian dikaji melalui literature juga unggahan-unggahan yang ada pada akun dakwah tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tema dan pesan yang disampaikan oleh akun @salaf.ittiba adalah tentang Akidah,Ibadah dan Akhlak. Selain itu, dakwah yang disampaikan juga menekankan pentingnya mengikuti Sunnah Nabi Muhammad SAW dan menolak praktek-praktek yang dianggap bid'ah. Abstract

The phenomenon of student exchange and migrant students is becoming increasingly common. Students who choose to continue their studies outside the region are not only faced with academic demands, but are also expected to be able to adapt to new social and cultural environments. The adaptation process involves the involvement of intercultural communication, where students must be able to interact with the local community. Therefore, this adaptation is very necessary to be able to adapt to the new environment. This research uses a quantitative method where samples are drawn using a purposive sampling technique. The research subjects were 236 students of STIA Amuntai semester 1 with migrant student status. The instruments used were adaptation and intercultural communication. Based on the results of the person product moment correlation analysis, it is known that the correlation coefficient is r = -0.425, which means there is a significant relationship between Intercultural Communication and adaptation with the direction of the relationship between the two variables being positive, which means that the higher the Intercultural Communication, the higher the adaptation. The effective contribution of Intercultural Communication to adaptation is 18.06%, while the other 81.94% of the contribution is influenced by other variables. Keywords:. Abstract

AbstractThe study of the Qur’an has been endless since the Prophet Muhammad until the Covid-19 era, it was still the most important part in the effort to study Islam. Surah Yasin is on of the surah of the qur’an that is most often read by the public, from the many interaction of Muslim with surah Yasin, the author finds a different use than usual, namely the reading of Surah Yasin in tradition baantaran jujuran. The reading of Surah Yasin in the tradition baantaran jujuran is only done by some Banjar people. This study aims to find out about the procedure for reading Surah Yasin, the motives (encouraging) and the community's goals about reading Surah Yasin in the baantaran tradition and their understanding of Surah Yasin. The form of this research is field research using the nature and types of qualitative descriptive methods. The results of this study are as follows: The procedure begins with the opening of the event by saying basmalah, reading Surah Yasin, being read together led by the bride's family or the event guide baantaran jujuran using loudspeakers and followed by invited guests, read from the first verse to the last verse, then the words of surrender, the words of the recipient, the installation of the ring, the surrender of the dowry and luggage, the prayer as well as the closing. The understanding of the people of Sungai Ulin is very diverse. Some of them say that Surah Yasin is the heart or heart of the Qur'an, Surah Yasin has many virtues, very well practiced in everyday life. There are also those who understand that Surah Yasin is a sura that must be read in every religious activity. The motives (drivers) also vary. One of them is because of gratitude for having found a partner and because previous people have done these activities. The goal is to get God's blessing, God's mercy, blessings, forgiveness of sins, facilitated, smooth all affairs, especially wedding receptions, get a sakinah, mawaddah and warahmah family and get pious childern. Keywords: Reading; Yasin; Tradition; Boundaries of Truth.AbstrakPengkajian Al-Qur'an yang tiada hentinya sejak Nabi Muhammad SAW hingga era Covid-19 masih menjadi bagian terpenting dalam upaya mempelajari Islam. Surah Yasin merupakan salah satu surah Al-Qur'an yang paling sering dibaca oleh masyarakat, dari sekian banyak interaksi umat Islam dengan surah Yasin, penulis menemukan penggunaan yang berbeda dari biasanya, yaitu pembacaan Surah Yasin dalam tradisi baantaran jujur. Pembacaan Surah Yasin dalam tradisi baantaran kejujuran hanya dilakukan oleh sebagian masyarakat Banjar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang tata cara membaca surah yasin, motif (mendorong) dan tujuan masyarakat membaca surah yasin dalam tradisi baantaran dan pemahaman mereka terhadap surah yasin. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan dengan menggunakan sifat dan jenis metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: Tata cara pembukaan acara diawali dengan mengucapkan basmalah, membaca surat yasin, dibacakan bersama yang dipimpin oleh keluarga mempelai wanita atau pemandu acara baantaran jujuran dengan menggunakan pengeras suara dan diikuti oleh tamu undangan, dibacakan dari ayat pertama sampai ayat terakhir, kemudian kata-kata penyerahan, kata-kata penerima, pemasangan cincin, penyerahan mahar dan barang bawaan, doa serta penutup. Pemahaman masyarakat Sungai Ulin sangat beragam. Beberapa dari mereka mengatakan bahwa Surah Yasin adalah jantung atau jantung Al-Qur'an, Surah Yasin memiliki banyak keutamaan, sangat baik diamalkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Ada juga yang memahami bahwa surah yasin merupakan surah yang wajib dibaca dalam setiap kegiatan keagamaan. Motif (pengemudi) juga bermacam-macam. Salah satunya karena rasa syukur telah menemukan pasangan dan karena orang-orang sebelumnya telah melakukan kegiatan tersebut. Tujuannya untuk mendapatkan ridho Allah, Rahmat Allah, keberkahan, ampunan dosa, dimudahkan, kelancaran segala urusan terutama resepsi pernikahan, mendapatkan keluarga yang sakinah, mawaddah dan warahmah serta mendapatkan anak yang sholeh. Kata Kunci: Pembacaan; Yasin; Tradisi; Baantaran Jujuran.

Abstract

AbstractThis paper is intended to examine the salafi movement in the context of the paradox of Islamic cosmopolitanism, which is seen in the terminological, historical and teaching aspects. The spirit of the Islamic resurgence that emerged at the time of entering the 15th century of Hijry, has taken the new spirit for returning to Islam, proud of being Muslim, and wake up awareness that the lagging Islam is caused by Muslims which leaving their religion. The problem has arisen, that the spirit to return to the Islam is accompanied by the emergence of a transnational Islamic movement in the Sunni world called salafi or wahhabi. The spirit of the salafi (wahabi) teaching is the purification of Islamic teachings  from what the called as shirk and bid'ah. Islam with the mission of its rahmatan lil’alamin, has the strong connection with the spirit of cosmopolitanism, however it has been reduced by the existence of narrow salafi understanding. Some of the paradoxes that emerge are: 1) Transnational Islamic Movement, which ignores locality; 2) Receive the modernity (hadatsah) and reject the tradition (turats); and 3) Receive the text and reject the reason (logic).Keywords: Cosmopolitanism; Islam; Salafi; Paradox. AbstrakTulisan ini dimaksudkan untuk menelaah gerakan salafi dalam konteks paradoks kosmopolitanisme Islam, yang dilihat pada aspek terminologis, sejarah dan ajaran. Semangat Kebangkitan Islam yang muncul pada saat memasuki abad ke-15 Hijriyah, telah melahirkan semangat baru untuk kembali kepada Islam dan rasa bangga menjadi muslim, dan kesadaran bahwa penyebab ketertinggalan Islam adalah karena umat Islam meninggalkan agamanya. Persoalannya menjadi muncul, bahwa ghirah untuk kembali kepada Islam tersebut dibarengi dengan munculnya gerakan Islam transnasional di dunia sunni yang disebut salafi atau wahabi. Spirit dari ajaran salafi (wahabi) ini adalah purifikasi ajaran Islam dari apa yang disebut sebagai syirik dan bid’ah. Islam dengan misi rahmatan lil’alaminnya, sesuai dengan semangat kosmopolitanismenya, pada gilirannya menjadi tereduksi dengan paham salafi ini. Beberapa paradoks yang muncul adalah: 1) Gerakan Islam transnasional, yang mengabaikan lokalitas; 2) Menerima hadatsah (modernitas), menolak turats (tradisi); dan 3) Menerima teks, menolak nalar (logika). Kata Kunci: Islam; Kosmopolitanisme; Salafi; Paradox.

Abstract

Abstract: This article examines the broadcasting of religious activities via social media accounts "Aswajanet" and social dynamics in the community, from November 2019 until August 2020. Aswajanet is the official social media accounts of a young people community in Banjarmasin, which did the broadcasting regularly various online Pengajian (Sermon) or Haul using social networking services. Activities social media Aswajanet does not build the image of Majelis Taklim or Preacher or disseminate information on religious activities only. According to them, broadcasting Haul and Pengajian (Sermon) live via social media does not diminish the meaning contained in this religious ritual. They consider these activities to be part of their efforts to maintain memory and relations with the Ulama, an essential tradition of Islamic traditionalist or Islamic Traditionalist. Using the Ethnographic Digital method, this article collects entire upload status and direct broadcasting religious activity in the interface of social media in the "Aswajanet" account and observing them offline activities. I formally or informally conduct interviews with several of Aswajanet’s activists and some influencer other social media in Banjarmasin. In this article, I ask two primary questions: How is the interaction and articulation of young people in the community Aswajanet with communications technology and the internet? How does social media technology affect authority, collective memory, and Islamic identity in Banjar? As a result, this article has found that majority activity accounts of social media the young Muslim Traditionalist still at rites and religious traditions, such as Pengajian, Haul, and other major religious practices that mediated the computer uploaded online. Besides, through new media, they also carry out discussions, friendships, and support that combine local and online resources, practices, and connections, offering spiritual experiences and new social ties. They emphasize the old identity and tradition, Islam Traditionalistism, among young people rather than replacing it.Keywords: Aswajanet; Islamic Traditionalism; Youth.

Abstract: Smiling and laughter are psycho-physical activities that occur in human beings and primates. Laughter is native to every human being, even primates. Theories of laughter and humor originated in ancient times with the view that laughter is an expression of feelings of superiority over another person. Theories of laughter and humor date back to ancient times, holding that laughter is an expression of feelings of superiority over others. Nietzsche's view that laughter is the appropriate response to the ultimate liberation of an individual. This confirms that anyone who laughs is actually free, because honest laughter is a spontaneous expression of the soul and is not bound by any rules. While Samuel Johnson wrote: Men have been wise in many different modes, but they have always laughed the same way. In terms of laughter, they have the same way.Keywords: Smiling; Laughter; Expression of the Soul. Abstrak: Senyum dan tawa merupakan aktivitas psiko-fisik yang terjadi pada makhluk jenis manusia dan primata. Tawa itu merupakan asli setiap manusia, bahkan primata. Theories of laughter and humor originated in ancient times with the view that laughter is an expression of feelings of superiority over another person. Teori tawa dan humor berasal dari zaman kuno berpandangan bahwa tawa adalah ekspresi perasaan superioritas atas orang lain. Nietzsche's view that laughter is the appropriate response to the ultimate liberation of an individual,tertawa itu menggambarkan puncak kebebasan seorang individu. Abstract

Abstract: This article discusses Islam and modernity in a country in North Africa, Morocco. The research question is how is Islam and modernity in Morocco and their relationship to the fate of women in the perspective of Fatima Mernissi? From the results of this study, it was found that between Islam and modernity in Morocco is something that has not meet expectations. According to Mernissi, there is still marginalization of women in the socio-political and religious aspects of life in Morocco. Because it is related to the interpretation of religion, Mernissi said that there is a need for a hermeneutical and socio-historical approach that adapts to the context, Islam for her is always actual in its development, including in this modern era. What is new from this research is that Islam and modernity in Morocco have not gone hand in hand, although times have changed, they are still not in line. While the goal that the author wants to achieve in this paper is to complete the lack of studies that have ever existed about Mernissi's thinking whose emphasis is that modernity should be directly proportional to the fate of women who are equal to men.Keywords: Islam; Modernity; Morocco; Fatima Mernissi; Hermeneutik and Socio Historical Approach; Marginalization of Women Abstrak: Dalam artikel ini, kami menganalisis hubungan antara Islam dan modernitas di Maroko, sebuah negara di Afrika Utara, melalui lensa pemikiran Fatima Mernissi. Kami bertanya bagaimana Islam dan modernitas di Maroko dan hubungannya dengan nasib perempuan dilihat dari perspektif Mernissi. Melalui studi ini, kami menemukan bahwa hubungan antara Islam dan modernitas di Maroko belum sesuai dengan harapan. Menurut Mernissi, masih terdapat marginalisasi perempuan dalam aspek sosial-politik dan agama dalam kehidupan di Maroko. Karena ini terkait dengan interpretasi agama, Mernissi menyatakan bahwa diperlukan pendekatan hermeneutik dan sosio-historis yang sesuai dengan konteks. Menurutnya, Islam selalu relevan dalam perkembangannya, termasuk dalam era modern ini. Hasil baru dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa Islam dan modernitas di Maroko belum berjalan bersama-sama, meskipun zaman telah berubah, mereka masih tidak selaras. Tujuan dari penulis dalam artikel ini adalah untuk menyelesaikan kekurangan studi yang pernah ada tentang pemikiran Mernissi yang menekankan bahwa modernitas harus sebanding dengan nasib perempuan yang sama dengan laki-laki.Kata Kunci: Islam, Modernitas, Maroko, Fatima Mernissi, Pendekatan Hermeneutik dan Sosio-Historis, Marginalisasi Perempuan
