Abstract

School bullying is a grave concern prevalent in both societal and educational realms. It encompasses negative actions perpetrated by one or more individuals aiming to harm, intimidate, or assert power over others, leading to physical, verbal, or psychological harm. As defined by Smith and Brain (2017), bullying constitutes a series of deliberate acts targeting individuals to inflict physical, verbal, or psychological distress. The distressing reality of bullying recently unfolded in an elementary school in Palembang, resulting in profound detrimental effects on the victims. This incident underscores the urgent need for comprehensive measures to address and prevent bullying in educational settings. It necessitates fostering a culture of empathy, respect, and inclusion, coupled with robust intervention strategies and support systems to safeguard the well-being of all students. Only through concerted efforts can schools ensure a safe and nurturing environment conducive to learning and personal growth

The results showed that the Wonosobo Regency Government utilizes social media in carrying out its digital communication, and the platforms used are Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok. Abstract

This study focuses on interpersonal communication in married couples, especially during the period of baby blues disorder. The approach used is social penetration theory. The study aims to describe the interpersonal communication patterns formed through the process of communication and support in husband and wife relationships during the period of baby blues syndrome. The case study method was used with data collection through interviews with five women who had given birth for the first time and had experienced postnatal baby blues disorder. The results showed that the interpersonal communication process in this period is usually started by the wife with an attitude of self-opening. Through interaction with the husband, the wife defines the form of support provided by the husband, both verbally and non-verbally, as a positive reaction to the self-opening that has been done. This communication pattern forms a cycle in each couple, showing that the four couples tend to have balanced and equal communication patterns. Husbands were involved mainly in providing instrumental support related to childcare and household activities. However, in one other couple, the communication pattern was considered unbalanced due to the lack of support from the husband, so the wife sought support from her female friends who also experienced similar baby blues.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze crisis communication strategies implemented by organizations in Indonesia through social media, using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. This method was chosen to collect, evaluate, and analyze relevant literature, in order to obtain a comprehensive picture of crisis communication practices in Indonesia in the context of social media. The data collection process was carried out by filtering relevant scientific articles, reports, and studies related to crisis communication and social media, published through various sources such as academic journals, conferences, and industry reports. Each selected article was evaluated based on the criteria of relevance, methodological quality, and its contribution to the understanding of crisis communication in social media. The results of the study indicate that effective crisis communication in social media requires a fast, transparent, and consistent response. Organizations that successfully manage communication through social media have a greater chance of maintaining public trust and reducing the negative impact on their reputation. The speed of response is a key factor, given the very rapid spread of information on social media. In addition, transparency and consistency of messages are essential to prevent public confusion. This study concludes that organizations in Indonesia must design communication strategies that are adaptive to the dynamics of social media, by ensuring clear, accurate, open messages, and monitoring public reactions directly. Thus, effective communication can help organizations manage crises and maintain public trust.

This study aims to explore the impact of artificial intelligence on human communication, as well as how this technology affects the dynamics of social and professional interactions. This study uses a qualitative approach with literature analysis and in-depth interviews with technology and communication practitioners in Indonesia. The results of the study show that artificial intelligence has a significant impact on increasing communication efficiency, but also brings challenges in terms of emotional relationships and privacy. The impact of artificial intelligence on human communication is very visible in various aspects of life, both in the professional and social worlds. The use of AI in chatbots, recommendation systems, and virtual assistants has accelerated the communication process, but also raises questions about its impact on the authenticity and quality of relationships between people. This study identifies the main challenges faced by Indonesian society in adapting to this new technology, including limited technological literacy and concerns about privacy. Overall, this study reveals the importance of managing communication more wisely amid the rapid development of artificial intelligence. Abstract

This research aims to explore the influence of binaural audio technology on the audience's level of immersion in horror films. The background to this research is based on the development of increasingly sophisticated audio technology and its potential to improve the film watching experience. The aim of this research is to measure how much influence binaural audio technology has on the audience's perception and emotional response when watching horror films. The research method used was an experimental design with a population consisting of students majoring in Film and Media at a university in Indonesia. Samples were taken randomly from as many as 60 people who were divided into two groups: a control group who watched films with regular stereo audio and an experimental group who watched films with binaural audio. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires filled out by participants after watching the film, as well as physiological measurements such as heart rate and galvanic skin response to assess the level of tension and emotional involvement. Data analysis was carried out using statistical tests to compare differences between the two groups. The results showed that the group watching with binaural audio experienced a higher level of immersion compared to the control group, indicated by higher questionnaire scores and more intense physiological responses. In conclusion, binaural audio technology significantly increases audience immersion in horror films, which could have a positive impact on the film industry in creating more immersive and engaging viewing experiences.
