Abstract

Penelitian-penelitian yang membandingkan pendekatan kontruktivisme dan pendekatan tradisional dalam pengajaran matematika seringkali sulit diinterpretasikan. Hal ini disebabkan karena metode-metode kontruktivis biasanya dimaksudkan untuk menghasilkan hasil belajar yang secara kualitatif berbeda dengan apa yang dihasilkan oleh metode-metode tradisional. Selain itu kebanyakan penelitian tentang metode-metode kontruktivis bersifat deskriptif dari pada komparartif. Salah satu pendekatan pembelajaran yang berbasis kontruktivisme yang dapat dikembangkan dalam proses belajar mengajar matematika adalah pendekatan pemecahaman masalah. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah membahas suatu model pendekatan pembelajaran matematika yang berbasis kontruktivisme yang tersimpul dalam beberapa masalah yaitu; bagaiamana pandangan kontruktovisem dalam pembelajaran, Bagaimana model pendekatan pemecahamn masalah, sera bagaimana penerapan pendekatan pemecahan masalah dalam pembelajaran matematika. Untuk lebih meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam matematika maka pendekatan pemecahan masalah yang didasarkan pada pandangan kontruktivisme merupakan salah satu alternatif yang dapat dilakukan guru dalam pembelajaran matematika. Untuk menerapkan pendekatan pemecahan masalah dalam pembelajaran matematika guru harus lebih berhati-hati dan lihai dalam memilih masalah yang diberikan sebagai panduan pembelajaran. Pendekatan pemecahan masalah dalam pembelajaran matematika akan menumbuhkan kemampuan kreatif siswa dalam memecahkan masalah yang mereka hadapi baik dalam pembelajaran matematika maupun dalam kehidupannya sehari-hari.

Abstract

Exploiting of information and communications technology (ICT) for attainment of purpose of organization, in this time have become an undoubtedly. This article arise concept of development of Faculty of Engineering Gorontalo State Univesity for the agenda of reaching technological cultured organization vision. In this case applied approach of model Kurt Lewin for identifying resistance available for emergence in the effort attainment of faculty vision. Model Kurt Lewin apply approach of analogis block ice (ice cube) by 3 (three) step in the mode of action. Conceptually, model Kurt Lewin can be made by alternative approach in reducing change resistance towards technological cultured faculty organization.

Abstract

One of the restoration of contaminated environmental quality method is using phytoremediation techniques. That is recovery contaminated environment using plants. This research studied the ability of kangkung darat (Ipome reptans) to absorb metallic copper and to find out which part of the Kangkung Darat that absorb most of the metal Cu, also to know the difference between absorption and kangkung darat are harvested at 2, 4 and 6 weeks. The research activities are carried out by planting kangkung darat in a contaminated soil media and in the flush of copper metal with a solution of Cu mg / L two times a day. Samples of kangkung darat have been taken from accordance with plant age (2, 4 and 6 weeks), and plant parts (roots, stems and leaves). Used in Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) Simatzu type AA to measure the content of Cu in the sample. Results obtained from this study that Cu accumulation in plants is mainly found in the roots. On the kangkung darat were 2 weeks of Cu contained as much as 5.3403 ppm in the roots, stems and leaves of 2.6637 5.1117. At the age of 4 weeks in a row at the root, stem leaves are 10.6998, 5.8281 and 2.0666 ppm. Mean, at the age of 6 weeks at the root of 10.4605, the leaves on the stem 7.7839 and 9.1863 ppm. From the research results can be concluded that kangkung darat could be used as fitoremediator Cu metal contaminated soil.

Abstract

Preparation of manganese oxide and lithium-manganese oxide thin layer on glass substrate by dip-coating method via sol-gel process have been investigated. Manganese (II) nitrate tetrahidrate and lithium chloride were used as precursors, isopropanol as solvent and DEA as additive. Dip-coating process have been done on glass substrate at 6 times with dipping time around 2 minutes for each layer process and dried at 110-120 oC around 15 minutes. Dried samples heated at 400 oC, 500oC and 600oC during 120 minutes. Black thin layer were obtained as products. The products were characterized by X-ray Diffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). The XRD pattern was shown manganese oxide thin layer were obtained Mn2O3 only. Crystal structure of Mn2O3 was orthorombic with crystallite size around 13.0 nm (JCPDS No. 24-0508). SEM image (at 500oC) showed uniform and smooth surfaces with grain size around 0,01 m. The XRD patterns showed that lithium-manganese oxide thin layer were obtained LiMn2O4 and small amount of Mn2O3. Crystal structure of LiMn2O4 was spinnel with crystallite size around 16.86 nm (JCPDS No. 35-0782). SEM images (at 400 and 500oC) showed fiber form were produced generally and spheric form at 600oC. Abstract

This research aims to get drawing about environment condition of PLTD activity, especially water quality condition that for further will be analyzed. The result of the soil water quality can be the basis of estimating the impact in which may be resulted and for further may be useful to determine the processing attempt. The result of this research shows waste water quality in which found in PLTD pipe, whether before or after processing of physical parameter, especially TSS more than standard quality of liquid waste of the industry activity KEP-Men 51/MENLH/10/1995. And so does the chemical parameter, DO,BOD,COD, phenol and oil do not fulfill the standard quality by which is conditioned. Moreover , the physical quality of water source in which is used by community as drinking water seen that TDS in over than the limitation by the health ministry of RI verdict Numb.907/MENKES/SK/VII/2002. Meanwhile, for chemical quality it is cane be said that for water is gotten from well there are oil and phenol. It decreases DO walue and increase BOD then it does not fulfill standard quality condition by which is settled.

Abstract

The study "web based of information system of lectures monitoring at Engineering Faculty " is intended to present lectures at the Faculty of Engineering activities are up to date and real time web based. The results of this study is expected to be a source of information for beneficiaries of education services either directly or indirectly. The information presented contains the activity classes held in each department in the Faculty of Engineering, State University of Gorontalo, which can be accessed via the internet browser and displayed through the big display in the lobby of the faculty. This study was made with the prototype method that allows sustainable development of information systems made by adjusting the needs and the latest in presentation technology and information systems within the framework supporting the management and development of Gorontalo State University as a university-based information technology (Information Technology / IT). From this research has developed a database called 'simpul' and web based of information system of lectures monitoring at Engineering Faculty, named 'simpul' that provides information information lectures at the Faculty of Engineering activities presented either through the internet browser and displayed in large displays that are placed in the lobby Faculty of Engineering, State University of Gorontalo.

Abstract

In the present work, the process of lead-ion adsorption by H. verticillata biomass have been investigated. This investigation intend to determinate capacity of adsorption the biomass for lead ion in water. A weight of 500 mg biomass was put ionto 300 ppm of the metal-ion solution whose pH varied from 4.0 to 6.0. Then, these solutions were stirred for 20 minutes. After filtering, the metal-ion concentration in the filtrate was determined by atomic absorption spectrometry. The amount of ion adsorbed by the biomass was taken as the difference between the initial and final concentration of the solution. Further, the same method was carried out to the varied concentration. The result showed, the optimum pH for metal-ion adsorption by the biomass is 5.0, having adsorption value 14,867 mg/g. Capacity of lead-ion adsorption was obtained by varied concentration, yielded value of 24,490 mg/g. Key word: H. verticillata, biomass, adsorption, spectrometry

Abstract

Target tracking is an important problem with wide applications in both military and civilian areas as ground target tracking, air traffic control, space surveillance, radar tracking, etc. The purpose of multiple target tracking system is to identify targets and then to estimate the states of targets. The target state comprises position, velocity, and acceleration. In multi-sensor radar system, some of sensor measurements may be false, and the numbers of target and which measurement emanates from which target are not known a priori. The problem then are to determine the number of targets, where in the measurements containing both measurements from target and false alarms. This is the data association problem or called the multidimensional assignment problem. Multidimensional assign-ment proplem is NP-Hard, and required heuristic method to solve this problem. Furthermore to estimate the state of each target given a sequence of measurements that emanate from that target. In this paper proposed Ant Colony Optimization method to solve the multidimensional assignment problem. Abstract

Keanekaragaman seni budaya indonesia diantaranya tercermin pada jenis dan bentuk pakaian yang mempunyai keunikan masing-masing daerah. Busana tradisional banyak macamnya, tiap-tiap daerah mempunyai busana tradisional sendiri-sendiri. Model, motif(ragam hias), warna, tata cara pemakaian, dan lain-lain, pada busana tradisional mempunyai ketentuan masing-masing yang berkaitan dengan adat istiadat, bentuk masyarakat dan alam sekitarnya, misalnya baju panjang dan sarung songket dari Sumatra, baju cele dan sarung songket dari Maluku, kebaya dan kain batik dari Jawa, baju bodo dan sarung sutera dari Sulawesi Selatan, dan lain- lain. Baju Bodo adalah busana tradisional yang sudah dipakai secara turun-temurun di Sulawesi Selatan dan merupakan salah satu identitas bangsa, namun selaras dengan perkembangan zaman, terlebih setelah adanya pertautan dan pergumulan dengan budaya global yang telah mampu menghegemoni hampir di setiap sendi kehidupan, termasuk pilihan terhadap desain busana telah memarjinalkan nilai-nilai tradisional, konsepsi, gaya desain busana daerah yang kita adiluhungkan. Fenomena itu dapat terlihat sehari-hari dimana busana yang bersumber pada kebudayaan daerah, kini hanya dikenakan dalam peristiwa-peristiwa tertentu saja, seperti untuk kepentingan upacara adat. Sedangkan dalam hidup sehariharinya, masyarakat Indonesia pada umumnya dan Sulawesi Selatan pada khususnya lebih suka menggunakan busana yang modelnya cenderung ke barat-baratan dengan berbagai pertimbangan antara lain praktis dalam arti mudah dikenakan untuk setiap kesempatan. Sungguh memprihatinkan, kalau tidak disikapi secara arif maka konsepsi nilai-nilai tradisi dapat terporak-porandakan, dengan demikian sebagai penerus dan pewaris budaya perlu kiranya untuk menjaga eksistensi budaya Indonesia khususnya busana tradisional dari hantaman, hegemoni dan kikisan budaya modern. Eksistensi busana tradisional memang serba dilematis yakni menuntur konservasi dari kepuhan sedang disisi lain agar tetap survive harus mengikuti selera konsumen. Keduanya mempunyai implikasi yang sangat krusial sehingga membutuhkan pemikiran cerdas.
