Abstract

Fuel is any material that can be converted into energy. For example in daily life humans often use energy sources as fuel for cooking including Gas/LPG, Electricity, Kerosene, Charcoal/Briquettes, Wood and others. The purpose of this study is to classify the distribution of the percentage of fuel used in each district/city in Northern Sumatra. This study discusses the analysis of the K-Means method in the case of the distribution of household percentages by district/city and cooking fuel in North Sumatra through the North Sumatra Central Statistics Agency website. The data is processed into 2 clusters namely high level (C1) and low-level clusters (C2). Thus obtained from 34 districts/cities in North Sumatra 23 regions are grouped in high-level clusters (C1) and 10 regions are grouped in low-level clusters (C2).This needs to be done so that it becomes input in the form of information to the government to find out villages that still have low understanding and have not been fulfilled in a district/city in the Province of North Sumatra.

Abstract

Indonesian documents have many or several sentences that are considered important in summarizing one document or many documents, sentences that appear a lot in documents are usually considered important sentences or reflect representative sentences on a document, even though these are not necessarily sentences that should be taken and put into representative sentences in determining the summarization of documents. In the link graph method used, it can indeed determine the amount of sentence weight in each sentence, it becomes a problem when sentence cutting is done if it is considered to have a very small weight. So a solution is needed to overcome this, namely by finding or determining the best parameters on the link graph of each sentence in the document summary. The value of such parameters is used to determine the truncation of each sentence. If the weight value of the sentence does not reach the limit of the parameter to be searched then the sentence is not included in the sentence processing in determining the summary of the document. The test parameters used are lambda i.e. (0.1, 0.3, 0.5) and for dumping factor i.e. (0.3, 0.5, 0.8)

Abstract

Increasingly high demands for mobility in today's society, activities are also increasingly crowded, especially parents, employees, and even students so it is increasingly difficult to find free time to meet the needs of daily life. So that people need something that can answer and be a solution to the complaint without having to drain time and energy with results that do not disappoint. Gojek is a solution to the complaints of people who do not have much free time and want to relax while waiting for their needs to be met, Gojek is an online application that can be downloaded via a smartphone, has more than six services provided therein but the author only takes some of the services to be standard the level of community satisfaction with Gojek services. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of community satisfaction with Gojek services. One method contained in Data Mining used in this study is the Clustering method. To find out the level of community satisfaction done with interviews / questionnaires 120 people in the city of Pematangsiantar. The benefits are to make it easier for Gojek companies to know how the quality of services provided to the community is based on the level of community satisfaction and improve the quality of services provided to the community.

Abstract

The current digitalization era is where technological conditions have developed in aspects of life. Information needs and activities can be collected easily in one platform that can help people communicate plans effectively. One of them is the agricultural capital loan system. Initially, people borrowed capital by going to cooperatives or banks where they borrowed money. In addition, farmers used to borrow farming equipment from nearby farm shops. Notarizable documents must be attached to the capital loan. Based on these problems, the author has a solution, Investa, a web-based platform that connects farmers and investors. The implemented features are suitable for the virtual representation of information and functions. Investa is planned according to the needs realized according to benchmarking and interview results. This design also has a dashboard to monitor the website. Investa's internal parties can only access the admin dashboard, so the admin receives more data from investors and farmers when accessing Investa. The design of the admin dashboard is made by considering the results of analysis. All the research that has been done produces output in software designs, such as UML diagrams and blueprint prototype designs. The result creates a dashboard website that uses the Iterative, incremental methodology, and the testing process is carried out using black box testing, UAT, and stress testing, which gets a total score of 90 with an average percentage of 86.25 which shows this platform is quite good in preparation for future dashboard development.

Abstract

An organization is a group of people who have a common goal, where everyone has the same goals so that they are combined and are expected to achieve goals together. The organization itself has a membership structure that functions to divide the tasks of each individual and each organization has a leader who functions to regulate the running of the organization. At XYZ University, there are various organizations that all students can participate in. The head of the organization is chosen from the election activities held every year to continue the baton of management. There are several obstacles experienced when conducting election activities, namely, election activities are carried out offline, due to pandemic conditions so that election activities cannot be carried out, there are many invalid ballots, and also the vote-counting process which takes quite a long time. In addition to obstacles during the election, election activities also cost quite a lot to print ballots and so on to launch elections. Therefore, this research was conducted by building an e-voting information system. The e-voting system itself has several advantages compared to elections conducted offline. It is hoped that the e-voting system can reduce errors made in offline elections. The system development uses the Personal Extreme Programming (PXP) method using the Laravel framework. It is hoped that the system built can assist the voting process in election activities at the XYZ University.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the performance of the star and ring networks at PT Indonesia Comnet Plus SBU Semarang and then provide solutions to optimize the use of existing resources through network performance analysis using the OSPF routing protocol. The system development method that the author uses is prototyping. The initial stage begins with OSPF analysis carried out by researchers, then continues by using Wireshark to analyze network packets. After that, researchers will identify problems that occur on the network and provide solutions to fix them. Next, the solution designed by the researcher will be implemented on Cisco Packet Tracer. The testing method used in this research is network performance testing. Researchers conducted tests to verify whether the implemented solutions succeeded in improving network performance. The test results from this research are that the overall average delay in this design is 94.21 ms which is in the very good category, the overall average jitter in this design is 74.64 ms which means it is in the good category, the overall average throughput in this design it is 5.44 Kbps which is in the very good category, and the overall average packet loss in this design is 0% which means it is in the very good category.

Abstract

Hydroponics is one of the innovations in the food system that does not use soil but uses water elements and other mediums. The hydroponic farming system can help in farming activities, one of the hydroponic methods that is easy to apply is the wick system, but it requires attention and time to be able to carry out a hydroponic planting system. Along with the development of technology, innovations have emerged for hydroponic cultivators to carry out remote monitoring through the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT) with tools that will work automatically in measuring the pH of water and the water level of hydroponic plants of the wick system. The automated system uses the fuzzy logic method as data processing and ESP32 as the microcontroller. To avoid misreading the value of the pH sensor and water level sensor, the calculation of the average equation, comparison, and presentation of errors is used in the sensor data readings. The test results showed that the design tool in monitoring hydroponic plants of the wick system was able to maintain the normal value of water pH, maintain the stability of the water level and identify errors in the reading of the sensor data value. With this research, it is hoped that the application of IoT and the Fuzzy Logic method can become literature in the integration of the development of wick method hydroponic systems in order to maximize yields and reduce the risk of plant errors and failures.

Abstract

An organization can prevent a risk from occurring by taking planning or mitigation steps that must be taken if an error occurs so that it does not have a negative impact on the organization's activities. The data center is the heart of the information technology infrastructure owned by XYZ University because there needs to be risk management in place if a threat occurs whether from within or from outside. Three security factors that must be protected in an information security system are confidentiality, integrity and availability. The absence of a risk analysis made by XYZ University has resulted in the absence of mitigation steps that must be taken if a threat or failure occurs in the Data Center. Based on the results of risk management research using OCTAVE Allegro carried out at XYZ University, 9 important information assets were produced, of which 5 assets must be mitigated, namely errors during network maintenance in the server room, service interruption due to power failure, internet connection disruption, damage to server hardware, Natural disasters that result in damage to related devices, and 4 information assets must be postponed, namely leaking of access rights such as administrator username and password, server space being accessed by unauthorized parties, bugs/errors during system updates, exploitation of system security gaps in the server from outside parties. and in the.

Abstract

The Fuzzy MADM method is used to deal with uncertainty and ambiguity in decision-making. This method considers several relevant attributes in the selection of an Internet Service Provider (ISP), such as internet speed, package price, service availability, and network reliability. Each attribute is assigned a weight based on its level of importance determined by the user. In this study, data on the performance of different ISPs were collected and analyzed. Fuzzy MADM was used to process the data and provide recommendations for selecting the most suitable ISP according to user preferences. The developed decision support system allows users to adjust attribute weights according to their needs and preferences. The decision support system for selecting an Internet Service Provider using the Fuzzy MADM method identifies three alternatives and four evaluation criteria: price, security, satisfaction, and credibility. This system can be used to recommend an Internet Service Provider in Salatiga based on the needs and desires of the users, employing the Fuzzy MADM method to find the appropriate ISP
