Abstract

This study aims to obtain information about the effectiveness of e-learning as a learning medium, especially for students of SMA Negeri 13 Medan. The methodology used is quantitative with interview data collection techniques and questionnaires conducted online. Based on the research findings, it shows that students respond well to the knowledge they know about e-learning. Although students respond well, there are obstacles that can hinder the effectiveness of e-learning as a learning medium, such as internet facilities for students who depend on internet and network packages to access e-learning itself. e-learning in learning becomes more effective.

Abstract

Transportasi merupakan salah satu kegiatan distribusi logistik yang sangat mempengaruhi harga barang. Optimasi rute dan waktu transportasi dengan memaksimalkan kendaraan yang tersedia dapat mengurangi biaya transportasi. Permasalahan tersebut dapat dimodelkan dengan vehicle routing problem (VRP). VRP memberikan solusi dengan meminimalkan biaya yang direpresentasikan oleh total jarak tempuh dan jumlah kendaraan yang digunakan. VRP merupakan non-polynimonal hard (NP-hards) yang menggunakan pendekatan heuristik dalam mencari solusi. Dalam penyelesaian permasalahan VRP ini digunakan algoritma genetika. Algoritma genetika merupakan salah satu merode heuristik rute terpendek. Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan rute terbaik yaitu kromoson dengan probabilitas terkecil dan pencarian waktu terkecil ditentukan berdasarkan jarak dibagi dengan kecepatan dalam melewati rute-rute yang sudah ditemukan.

Abstract

Heart disease is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. Various factors can influence heart health, such as an unhealthy lifestyle. The importance of heart health lies in the fact that the heart plays a vital role as the primary pump in the body's circulatory system. Education and awareness about heart health are crucial. Effective educational programs can help improve public knowledge about the risk factors, signs, and symptoms of heart disease. This research aims to develop an interactive educational video game that can enhance public knowledge about heart health. The video game is designed considering effective educational and interactive aspects to provide an engaging learning experience. The development method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD), which includes requirements planning, user interaction, system development, as well as evaluation and testing. During its development, accurate and reliable information about heart health is conveyed through narration, appealing visual displays, quizzes that encourage players to understand essential concepts, and feedback that provides information and motivation. This research is expected to contribute to enhancing public understanding of heart health through an innovative and enjoyable approach

Abstract

Community Based Water Supply and Sanitation Program (Pamsimas) is a program that aims to support and increase access of drinking water facilities to local people. One of the Pamsimas programs in increasing the capacitation of KPSPAMS or infrastructure for water supply and sanitation is Micro Credit. In certain areas reporting and storing data are not monitored and effective, where it is difficult to monitor and store complete data reports. The purpose of this research is to design a microcredit web application using the UML (Unified Modeling Language) design tool and the PHP Codeigniter Framework in Jakarta Pamsimas Program. The result of this research is Micro Credit Program web application that can be used by community facilitators and District Coordinators in inputting KPSPAM data that follows the Micro Credit program in the payment process.

Abstract

Culinary is a part of life that is closely related to daily food consumption. Some people have difficulty in determining where to eat to be visited, this is influenced by several considerations including the budget (budget) that is owned and the facilities at the place to eat. This article aims to recommend good culinary places for students, and students who are chosen from a good budget and facilities. The title of this article is proposed so that students can choose a good culinary place by using the Fuzzy Mamdani inference method. This method can be used to quickly complete this article. The limitations of planning a conventional food menu can be overcome in a number of ways, for example by increasing food menu data and by utilizing advances in information technology to find out food menus can be easily found on the internet.

Abstract

Computer network systems are designed to share resources together, so that the security of resources on the server must be maintained and the resources used must be optimized. The aim of this research is to analyze the comparative level of optimization of Port knocking and Honeypot using the IPTables method for network security on servers with different CPU and memory resources. The security methods used in this research are Port knocking, Honeypot and IPTables. The data used includes ports that were successfully attacked as well as resource usage before and after IPTables implementation on a server with 2 CPU resources and 1507284KiB memory obtained from previous research. The results of this research show that 80% of ports cannot be attacked while 20% of ports, namely port 22, are designed to be attacked. The server CPU and Memory resource usage graph shows a decrease after implementing IPTables from Denial of Service (DoS) and Brute force testing. On a server with 1 CPU and 1015852KiB of memory resources, CPU usage decreased by 36%, and memory usage decreased by 41%. Meanwhile, on a server with 4 CPU resources and 6036624 KiB of memory, CPU usage decreased by 41%, and memory usage decreased by 46%. This shows increased effectiveness compared to using just the Port knocking and Honeypot methods. It is hoped that this research can be a guide in measuring server optimization in overcoming Denial of Service (DoS) and Brute force attacks

Abstract

This study examines the satisfaction of the public towards the inaRISK application, based on the calculation of the Public Satisfaction Index using the guidelines outlined in the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Regulation No. 14 of 2017 regarding the public satisfaction survey on public service delivery. The findings reveal that the calculated index score is 83.46, falling within the range of 76.61 - 88.30, indicating a "B" level of service quality, categorized as Good. This suggests that overall, the inaRISK application is considered to be of good quality and is well-received by the public. The study further examines nine service indicators, finding that the highest satisfaction score is attributed to the Facilities and Infrastructure indicator, with an index score of 3.665 and a conversion score of 91.62. This indicates that users are satisfied with the consultation and complaint handling services provided by the inaRISK application (such as ease of filing complaints and follow-up actions). On the other hand, the lowest satisfaction score is observed in the Speed of Response indicator, with an index score of 3.170 and a conversion score of 79.26. In conclusion, this research shows that the inaRISK application receives positive feedback from the public, indicating good quality in public service delivery. However, there is room for improvement, particularly in terms of response speed, to enhance user satisfaction and overall performance of the application.

CV. Siantar Simalungun Sukses is a form of business that sells various kinds of milk to meet the needs of the community, especially for the people of Pematangsiantar. But CV. Siantar Simalungun Sukses is not the only form of business in Pematangsiantar city, but there are still many supermarkets operating in the same field, so that this will lead to business competition between existing forms of business. To face the business competition, there are many ways that can be done by CV. Siantar Simalungun Success to maintain the quality of the milk products sold, including by analyzing the quality of these products, and price competitiveness.

Abstract

The proses of searching for a residence has only observed the residence that will be chosen and does not have specific criteria in determining its choice, such as the distance from the residenceto work, shopping, city center, university, airport, price, free from flooding and the location of the residence. The search for a residential house needs several considerations that must be understood,such as consideration of price, land area, building area, mileage, and facilities in the residential house. This is one of the things that causes various problems faced in finding a house. The decision support system (DSS) for finding a residential house using the SMART method uses search criteria based on price, land area, building area, distance, and facilities. The results of the decision support system recommendations for finding a house using the SMARTs method will be sorted based on the largest SMARTs value to the smallest SMART value. This decision-making model using the SMARTs method can be further developed for more complex problems with a much larger number of criteria and alternatives.

Abstract

Education in the 5.0 era provides significant changes to aspects of human development, especially in the world of education. The patterns and concepts of life in the metaverse era bring big problems if they don't get special attention and positive responses from the world of education. The main key to the progress of education towards world change is the nation's children. The majority of modern society has become part of technological life. Some schools have introduced the world of education with the involvement of technology. Difficulties in the learning process are felt by some educators who are not ready mentally, cognitively and facilities. This is an obstacle and a challenge for schools that do not have physical facilities or facilitators. The purpose of this research is to make a scientific contribution to the world of education in dealing with changes in various aspects of life. Research methodology with a qualitative type of design Narrative review. The results of the study explain that societal changes in the era of technological education have had positive and negative impacts. The role of educators in the utilization of education is the main responsibility in addressing the advantages and disadvantages. Information services and the application of the concept of understanding and being aware of change are the main components of positive thinking in utilizing technology quickly and correctly. In accordance with the functional pattern of using digital technology-based learning such as distance learning, monitoring of students in doing assignments and other social activities can be evaluated in a more planned and detected manner
