Abstract

Online news is a report that discusses an event packaged by the media as a means of publication in the form of news that can be accessed online. The 2019 election was one of the topics that was very much discussed at that time. In its implementation, the 2019 election reaped many critical notes related to the implementation and the issue of the integrity of the election itself. In this study, researchers took titles from various online news portals related to the 2019 election for sentiment analysis. The classification process is divided into three classes, namely positive, neutral and negative. The data used in this study amounted to 395 records. The stages carried out in this study are preprocessing which includes casefolding, remove punctuation, handling whitespace, stopword removal, stemming and tekonization. Next is handling imbalanced data to balance the number of classes. After going through the preprocessing stage, the next is the processing stage using the logistic regression method and randomized search cross validations. This is used to find the best parameters where the results of these parameters are then carried out by fitting the model. The results of the combined logistic regression method and randomized search cross validation show an accuracy score of 86%.

Abstract

This study uses a grouping model in determining areas based on the type of environmental pollution. This study is a special reference from the government in improving environmental sustainability. The data from this study was taken from the website of the government statistical data provider, BPS (Statistics Indonesia) www.bps.go.id. This research uses the K-Mens method and releases it with RapidMiner software to create 2 clusters, high and low level clusters and see what the contents of the cluster are. From the research results obtained by high cluster centroid data that is ((1527), (810.4), (5865), (6655.3), (323), (315.1)) low cluster namely ((139.25) , (122.5), (508,833), (919,222), (64,417), (94,444)). With this analysis, it is expected to be able to load and information for the government to pay more attention to regions whose income is still below average.

Abstract

This study focuses on implementing Enterprise Architecture (EA) to address the challenges of integrating the higher education management systems at University X. Currently, the university faces issues of non-integration among its 4 service areas, each utilizing different platforms and manual business processes. As a solution, this research designs an integrated EA using the TOGAF ADM framework. The research process involves interviews with education stakeholders and gap measurements between the current and planned systems through questionnaires and focus group discussions. The results indicate that the EA design aligns with a validation score of 4.3, with a note on the need for attention to the details of data and technology architecture, as well as further analysis regarding cost priorities and human resources in the implementation roadmap. This study provides an EA blueprint to create an integrated information system, optimize business processes, and enhance services through the integration of data, applications, and technological development. The implementation of EA is expected to improve efficiency in 29 business activities currently carried out manually at University X

Abstract

This paper discusses the automatic matching of students applying for the Internship and Independent Study (MSIB) program with partner companies. Many companies offer MSIB programs. This makes it difficult for students to register according to their competence. For this reason, a system is needed that will help students recommend vacancies according to their competence. This research will build a MSIB recruitment recommendation system. The research will begin by building a database of activity details for apprentice and independent study program partners. Details of partner activities contain program descriptions, Developed Competencies and Participant Criteria. This data will be used to build a MSIB vacancy recommendation system. Matching is done by comparing the Company's needs with the portfolio. At the beginning of the research, notes will be made based on students who are accepted into the MSIB program. Next, build a matching system between the MSIB vacancies offered and the work portfolios made by students. This system is expected to help students to be accepted into the MSIB program. The model used is content-based recommendation system. A content-based recommendation system will provide a list of vacancies that best match the student portfolio. The content-based recommendation system will use the cosine similarity algorithm and K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN).The output of this study is a recommendation model for recruiting apprenticeship programs and independent studies. It is hoped that this system will help students determine internship programs and independent studies that suit their portfolios

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to study the level of customer satisfaction with Indihome services in Pematangsiantar City by using the C4.5 Algorithm. The source of the data used in the study is to conduct observations and interviews by distributing questionnaires to Indihome customers in Pematangsiantar City. The results of this study are expected to be able to determine Indihome customer satisfaction so that service levels are in accordance with the provisions of the indicator.

Abstract

This study delves into the intricacies of emotion recognition within textual data, presenting a comprehensive analysis of three prominent deep learning models: Long Short-Term Memory networks (LSTMs), Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), and Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs). Employing a 5-fold cross-validation methodology, the research meticulously evaluates each model's performance in accurately classifying a spectrum of emotions, using metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score. Results indicate that LSTMs outperform their counterparts with an accuracy of 93.48%, closely followed by CNNs at 91.78%, while RNNs lag, showcasing the importance of sophisticated architectural features in handling complex emotional nuances. The study not only highlights the strengths and limitations of each model but also sheds light on the significant role of temporal and contextual understanding in emotion recognition tasks. Through this investigation, we provide insights into the evolving landscape of natural language processing and its capability to decode human emotions, proposing directions for future research in enhancing model performance. This work has broader implications for applications in mental health, customer service, and social media analysis, aiming to refine the interaction between humans and machines in understanding and processing emotional content

Abstract

Pegadaian. PT. Pegadaian's form of transformation is the launch of Pegadaian Digital application. The application aims to facilitate the community and improve the service of products owned by PT. Pegadaian. Based on the monitoring as of 20 October 2022, the Pegadaian Digital application received 3.5 points on a scale of 5. This score is low because it contains many negative reviews. Therefore, it is necessary to analyse the review section of the application to increase the score. The method that can be used to analyse it is aspect-based sentiment analysis. Aspects are those that relate to the experience felt by users, namely aspects of learnability, efficiency, errors, and satisfaction. Sentiment analysis requires an optimal algorithm, one of which is Naïve Bayes. This algorithm was chosen because it is known as a simple but efficient algorithm when processing large amounts of data. This research uses two test scenarios, the first scenario using different ratios and base parameters and the second scenario using the addition of smoothing parameters. The result of this research is that the model with the ratio of 80:20 and the addition of smoothing is the best model for sentiment analysis because it produces the best performance value, with an accuracy value of 92%, precision of 80%, recall of 70% and f1-score of 73%.

Abstract

The tourism sector is one of the sectors that can support the economy of a region. A region can utilize its geographical conditions to be used as tourist attractions. Continuous innovation has led to advancements in the tourism sector. Currently, there are many new tourist destinations, both natural and man-made. However, challenges have arisen due to the proliferation of tourist destinations, leading to increased competition among them, with many places becoming less crowded and even unknown to the public. One of the contributing factors to this issue is the lack of effective promotion of these tourist destinations.The development of an application is carried out on mobile devices, especially smartphones with the Android operating system. This application development also employs a framework to ensure the security of the web admin. The framework used for this purpose is the Laravel framework.The development of an e-ticketing application for the Waduk Gajah Mungkur tourist destination is an effort to keep up with the times. The e-ticketing application aims to digitalize the ticket purchasing process to make it more effective and efficient.

Abstract

Online shop sales are a business that helps customers easily choose products without having to visit a store or be able to order anywhere and anytime. Anita's Kitchen online store is a bakery business that specializes in selling various types of bread, such as wet bread, dry bread, and snacks. Sales activities at Anita's Kitchen still use a simple method in the process of disseminating information using social media Instagram and Facebook for orders still manually via WhatsApp and coming directly to the place to confirm orders, and for monthly reports they are still manually recorded in a notebook. Thus causing product marketing to be not optimal, and customers having difficulty in obtaining bread product information, and monthly reports have not been computerized. Based on the following conditions, a website-based system is needed for Anita's Kitchen. The system built is related to the use of the method, namely RAD (Rapid Application Development), PHP Mysql programming language, then blackbox testing. With the existence of a website-based system at Anita's Kitchen, it is hoped that it will make it easier for customers to order online, and get the latest information about the quality, types, variants, tastes, and prices offered by Anita's Kitchen Bakery. And optimizing computerized services at Anita's Kitchen Bakery.

Abstract

Mobile banking is another major technological advancement in the banking sector. Due to the widespread use of smartphones, banks have developed mobile applications that enable customers to carry out various financial transactions through their mobile devices. For this reason, good user experience (UX) and usability are very necessary because they have a direct impact on the user experience and the success of the application. Good user experience and usability of an application not only increases user satisfaction, but also influences user confidence in the product or service and its long-term success. This research aims to evaluate the level of UX and usability of the Maluku Malut mobile banking application by using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) and System Usability Scale (SUS) to determine user perceptions of the UX and usability of the Maluku Malut mobile banking application. The measurement results provide a positive impression in almost all aspects, and have acceptable usability for users.
