Abstract

The rapid development of information systems technology in the era of globalization, industrial revolution 4.0, encourages various fields to be more innovative and creative, especially in the field of education. The use of information systems in the world of education is expected to make it easier to access fast information and innovative, interactive and informative learning media. Augmented reality (AR) is one of the learning media innovations that combines the visualization of three-dimensional or two-dimensional virtual objects with the real world, allowing users to learn more deeply about a learning object through their gadgets. Augmented reality (AR) uses several tracking methods to display an object, one of which is the marker based tracking method. Where this tracking model recognizes and identifies a maker or target image which then becomes the layout when the virtual object is displayed in the real environment. Then, to create three-dimensional objects, use Blender software sourced from the internet for model parts of animal and plant cells. With this AR application, it is hoped that it will attract the interest of students or visitors to the biology laboratory at the Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN North Sumatra, especially in studying the similarities between parts of animal and plant cells with interactive visualization of the AR application.

Abstract

In the world of education, exams are a form of evaluation of the learning process in order to measure the level of achievement of skills, character and intelligence of students, thus making exams an important stage in the teaching and learning process. In the application of technological advances Al-Karim natural school uses google classroom technology to improve the efficiency and accessibility of exams. However, limited features that are not available in google classroom are a problem in conducting exams. Such as the lack of effectiveness, efficiency, and security in the exam implementation process. This problem requires a large and potentially dangerous system. This paper presents the implementation of a customized web-based online exam information system for Al-Karim natural school using the Moodle learning management system (LMS). The proposed system aims to simplify the exam process, offering benefits such as effectiveness, efficiency, and enhanced security. learning management system (LMS) development as an online learning platform that uses the Moodle platform. The research method used is research and development (RD), and the development model includes potential and problems, data collection, product design, product trial, and report. The research tool is a questionnaire used by teachers and students. Results from beta testing the research tool showed that 98,8% of learning media strongly agreed with this application. Initial feedback from stakeholders showed positive acceptance, with users appreciating the system's intuitive interface and convenience. However, ongoing monitoring and evaluation is essential to address potential issues and further optimize system performance.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi, khususnya dalam pemanfaatan smartphone, telah mengubah lanskap transaksi digital di Indonesia, memfasilitasi partisipasi masyarakat dengan lebih efisien. Studi ini menginvestigasi adopsi Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) sebagai sistem pembayaran digital yang inovatif. Dengan mengaplikasikan Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2) dan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), penelitian ini menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi niat dan perilaku pengguna terhadap QRIS di kalangan mahasiswa Kalimantan dan survei online dilakukan terhadap 392 mahasiswa. Hasil analisis struktural menunjukkan konstruk model yang digunakan valid dan reliabel untuk dilakukan uji hipotesis. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, dan Price Value tidak berpengaruh terhadap niat dan penggunaan QRIS di Kalimantan. Facilitating Condition juga tidak berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap penggunaan QRIS, akan tetapi memiliki pengaruh tidak langsung melalui niat penggunaan QRIS.

Abstract

Nowadays, the used car buying and selling industry faces serious challenges in terms of information transparency which can hamper the transaction process and reduce the level of trust between sellers and buyers. In an effort to overcome this problem, this research proposes an innovative solution by applying the principles of Design Thinking. Design Thinking principles involve deep understanding of users, collaboration with stakeholders, and repeated iterations in application design and development. This research began by analyzing existing used car buying and selling applications and identifying the main problems faced by users. At this stage, most of the existing applications were found to be unable to provide adequate information about the condition of used cars, maintenance history and transparent prices. The result of this development is an application that allows users to easily search for used cars, get complete and accurate information about the condition of the car, and determine a fair price based on transparent market data. The results of this research include designing a used car buying and selling application that is more user friendly, integrating important features such as verifying car condition, maintenance history, ownership and legality of documents

Abstract

Rohingya ethnic group is one of the victims of genocide atrocities committed by Myanmar as a result of past grudges. Because of this, several ethnic groups chose to leave Myanmar and decided to flee to other countries, including Indonesia, as a result, this issue continued to rise on social media. This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing public opinion sentiment regarding the inclusion of the Rohingya ethnic group on social media X using the Naive Bayes method. The data carried out using the Web Scrapping method was 1124 with a time span of May 2023 to January 2024 and the data was continued with the preprocessing stage and removing duplications in the data which made the data change to 701. After going through these stages it can be implemented into Naive Bayes. The results of implementing Naive Bayes in this research about the opinions of Indonesian netizens regarding Rohingya refugees in the X application obtained an accuracy value of 98.57%, precision 100%, and recall 97.35%.

Abstract

The Pijar Management Information System (SIM Pijar) is an information system designed to address management issues at the Pijar Mutiara Bangsa Foundation located in Klaten, Central Java. The primary problem involves manual processes for recording and archiving, which are considered inefficient and prone to errors, leading to potential data loss or damage. The implementation of SIM Pijar aims to mitigate these risks. This system is developed using HTML, CSS, PHP, and the Laravel and Bootstrap frameworks. Additionally, MySQL is used for data storage, following the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall model. System testing is conducted using the User Acceptance Test (UAT) method, specifically black box testing, to evaluate the system's functionality. The testing results indicate that the system operates as designed and meets the functional requirements.

Abstract

This research was motivated by observational data from researchers who were interested in the problems being faced by Toko Kembar Citayam. To overcome these problems, researchers conducted research at Toko Kembar Citayam which aimed to overcome and improve the quality of the store. The goal to be achieved in this study is to build a Web-based sales information system at the Depok Citayam Twin Store which is expected to facilitate to provide data information about the clarity of profit and loss and the effectiveness of subsequent sales. This research was conducted by the researcher himself who happened to work at the Depok Citayam Twin Store. Therefore, researchers have high ambitions to improve the quality of the store. The research design used is development (research and development / R D). With a case study approach at Toko Kembar Depok Citayam. Web-based sales information system development methods are made using prototype methods, and system development tools in the form of flowmaps, context diagrams, DFDs, and proposed database design tools in the form of ERDs. Abstract

Determining the right foundation shade is a common challenge faced by make-up users, especially for those who have no experience in choosing beauty products. To solve this problem, this research designs a web-based application that can recommend the appropriate foundation shade based on the user's complexion. This application was developed using the Rational Unified Process (RUP) Model, a systematic and structured methodology for software development. The RUP model consists of four main phases: Inception, Elaboration, Construction, and Transition. In the Inception phase, user and stakeholder requirements are identified, as well as initial project planning. The Elaboration phase focuses on system analysis and design, including modeling of functional and non-functional requirements. The Construction phase involves developing and testing the system based on the design that has been created. Finally, the Transition phase focuses on application deployment and user training. This application uses several recommendation algorithms to determine the foundation shade that best suits the user's skin color. User data is obtained through manual input or through photo uploading, which is then analyzed using image processing technology. The results of this analysis are used to identify the user's complexion and provide appropriate foundation shade recommendations. The implementation of the web-based application allows easy and flexible access for users. The application is also equipped with an intuitive and user-friendly interface, making it easier for users to operate and get the desired recommendations. In addition, the app is designed to be continuously updated and adapted to the latest trends in the beauty industry, as well as user feedback. Through the application of the RUP Model, the development of this application is expected to run more efficiently and structured, producing quality products that meet user needs. This app not only helps users in determining the right shade of foundation, but also improves the overall online shopping experience of beauty products.

Abstract

Meeting workforce needs goes beyond producing a certain number of graduates; it requires computer science graduates possessing essential competencies sought by companies. The government supports competency development through Regulation Number 59 of 2018, overseeing the Certificate of Accompanying Diploma (SKPI) and Competency Certificates. Students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities to enhance job-relevant competencies. This study, utilizing the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART), assesses the competencies in demand for computer science graduates via popular job vacancy websites. Data from JobStreet, LinkedIn, and Karir reveal the most sought-after competencies, considering keyword searches, Final Project concentrations at Semarang University's Information Technology Department, and alignment with Ministry of Manpower projections in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector. Job vacancies congruent with these projections receive scores. The SMART method results show that (Software) Developer is the most prominently sought competency on job vacancy websites.

Abstract

This research aims to optimize the management of raw materials at the Dinar Bakery using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method to increase operational efficiency. Dinar Bakery faces problems in inventory management, such as unstructured storage and recording errors, due to limited human resources. Implementing FIFO is expected to reduce the risk of expiration, reduce storage costs and maximize the use of raw materials. The research results show that implementing FIFO can optimize inventory, reduce waste, and increase inventory rotation, so that stores can be more responsive to market demand and increase customer satisfaction. This research also provides a theoretical contribution to the literature on raw materials management in the food industry.
