Abstract

In the higher education, improving student performance and improving the quality of education is very important. The education system requires innovative ways to improve the quality of education, achieve the best results and minimize student failure rates. One of the innovative ways is to apply data mining to predict students' study period. The results of these predictions will help students or academic adviser to provide early warning or give more precise directions to each student, so that they can do the best things to increase the chances of graduating on time. In this study, 9 academic and non-academic variables were used, consisting of semester grade point index, Semesters 1, 2, 3 and 4, GPA, school origin (public/private), finance (constrained by financial problems or not), scholarship (whether get a scholarship or not), Student Affairs (active or not in the student program). The use of academic and non-academic data variables in this study aims to broaden the predictions of student graduation which are not only assessed from an academic point of view, but also look at non-academic factors. The data used is student’s data for the 2017-2018 Informatics study program at the Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo. This data is obtained from the Directorate of Information Systems Technology (DSTI) Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo as many as 200 data. Modelling using the naïve Bayes algorithm using Anaconda Navigator software with IDLE Jupyter Notebook and the Python programming language, after evaluation using the confusion matrix and accuracy score, the results obtained were 68% accuracy, precision value 0.67, recall 0.77 and f1-score 0.72. while the accuracy score evaluation value gets 67.35%

Abstract

LKP Mandiri in selecting prospective instructors still uses the assessment system manually so that all data selection of new instructor candidates does not have a fixed weight, is still subjective and often occurs errors in the calculation process and takes a relatively long time in calculating the value of the alternative. For that in this research applied weighted product (WP) method in determining new instructor candidates because the weighted product (WP) method is a method of completion by using multiplication to connect the attribute rating, where the rating must be raised first with the weight of the attribute in question, this process is the same as the normalization process. With the WP (Weighted Product) method implemented into the decision support system in LKP Mandiri facilitates calculation in making decisions to get prospective instructors.

Abstract

Education is rapidly changing in the digital age, especially with blended learning, which mixes online and in-person classes. This approach is popular because it offers a well-rounded learning experience. However, getting students and teachers to share knowledge remains a challenge. This study looks at how combining Knowledge Management Systems (KMS) and Knowledge Discovery in Databases (KDD) can help improve knowledge sharing in blended learning at universities. By analyzing data from the E-Learning section of UPI YPTK Padang, involving 120 students, the research aims to create more effective learning systems that encourage sharing. It's a step towards better education in the digital era, promoting collaboration and knowledge exchange among students and educators.

Abstract

The registration process is the initial process to start the examination on all installations in each hospital. One hospital in Bandung alone can receive more than 200 patients per day, which of course can cause various problems, knowing also that all the registration processes that occur are still centralized. In the registration process, patients are divided into two types of patients: General and BPJS. With the central registration system, it raises several problems that occur in one of the Nuclear Medicine Installations at the Bandung public hospital, for example patient data that registers can only be accessed through the registration center which makes the Nuclear Medicine Installation service sector not yet have a system that contains a patient database, so the installation is still making a reporting system manually. The Nuclear Medicine Installation is also still not integrated between patient registration and examination and management of other systems. In this research, an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for General patient registration modules and BPJS will be developed using the open-source Odoo which will support patient registration management using the Quickstart method. The ERP system makes it easy for hospitals to design patient registration systems starting from the initial registration process, patient payments, to patient scheduling. The system will be tested functionally using integration testing and blackbox testing which will be validated by the Nuclear Medical Installation service department. The results of this study are the development of a general patient registration system and BPJS, as well as patient examination scheduling, and reporting related to patient registration

Abstract

The use of TV Set Top Boxes currently in Indonesia is increasing greatly and is being used by the public. Currently, people can continue to enjoy digital broadcasts without having to change analog television to digital by using a device called a set-top box. This decoder is useful for converting or replacing digital signals into images and sound that can be displayed on ordinary analog TVs which are widely used by the public. Various brands of set-top boxes are sold by the Company with different specifications and prices. Where people will find it very difficult to determine the best choice due to a lack of understanding about this TV Set Top Box. From the problems that occur, a decision support system is needed to help people choose a TV Set Top Box according to the needs that exist in the community. The criteria used in this research are price, resolution, EWS (Early Warning System) features, guarantees, certificates and promotions. This Set-Box selection decision support system uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. This method is used because it can provide the best decision based on the highest value to the lowest value. The result of this research is a decision support system that can provide recommendations for selecting the best decoder for digital TV broadcasts based on the highest to lowest values using the AHP method. From the calculation results, it was found that POLYTRON PDV 600T2 had a value of 0.2466, MATRIX APPLE had a value of 0.2327, EVENIX H1 had a value of 0.2452 and LUBY DVB T2 0,2756

Abstract

Motorcycles are a means of transportation that is widely used by most people because they are more effective and efficient. Many people use motorbikes as transportation to go to and from work. The increase in the number and variety of motorcycle products today has made potential customers have their own choices to choose the right motorbike according to their needs. The purpose of this research is to assist consumers in determining the best motorbike that is right and according to their needs, to determine the choice of this motorbike using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The decision of the supporters of this system only compares 3 motorbike products, namely Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki. From the ranking results, it is obtained that V1 is the highest and V3 is the lowest, where V1 is Honda and V3 is Suzuki. The research object was carried out in the Sukabumi Regency by distributing questionnaires and interviewing PT. Glostar Indonesia (GSI) employees.

Abstract

Indonesian Smart Program (Program Indonesia Pintar “PIP”) is a government backing program aimed at scholars who come from poor or vulnerable families to finance education. Scholars entering PIP correspond of two orders, scholars who have a Indonesian Smart Card (Kartu Indonesia Pintar) Indonesian Health Card (Kartu Indonesia Sehat) and scholars who are recommended by the academy to get an education. The conventional way carried out by seminaries in furnishing education recommendations takes a long time and is prone to mismatch recommendations so that it can affect in the distribution of PIP backing that isn't on target. From these problems the authors are interested in conducting exploration by exercising data mining ways. This exploration compares the C4.5 algorithm and the Naive Bayes algorithm. Testing was carried out on 139 SDN 03 Karanganyar pupil data. The results of the test set up that the C4.5 algorithm is better than the naive bayes algorithm. So that the Rule generated by the C4.5 algorithm can be used to make a decision-making system at SDN 03 Karanganyar

Abstract

Renewable energy is the choice for several reasons, including: it is relatively cheap, carbon neutral, mostly non-polluting and has support from various NGOs to replace energy solutions based on non-renewable fuels. In addition, the application of this technology in rural communities can provide opportunities for rural communities to independently manage and meet their own energy needs and solutions. One form of renewable energy is solar energy. To be able to convert solar energy into electricity, solar panels are needed that can convert solar energy directly into electricity and store it in batteries. The use of solar panels has been widely used in Indonesia, but not optimal. So far, the solar panels used by the community are static, resulting in less than optimal use of solar energy. A statically placed solar panel can only receive a constant maximum of 3 hours of insolation. Therefore, we need a tool that can make dynamic solar panels that can follow the movement of sunlight so that the solar panels receive a constant maximum light for a longer period of time, thereby reducing the cost of purchasing the number of solar panels that can be used. To generate solar energy, dynamic panel movement when the sun moves requires an electronic device as a controller, an example of a controller that can be used is Arduino. From the test results, the design with a dynamic angle of 60˚ solar tracker shows the highest average power of 34.59 W/hour and an average efficiency value of 3.58%. This is compared to testing at an angle of 300 which averages 32.64 watts/hour with an efficiency of 3.33%, and at an angle of 90° which averages 13.03 watts/hour with an efficiency of 1.30%.

Abstract

This study aims to see the development of the number of foreign tourist arrivals in the following year. With these predictions, it is expected to be able to assist the government in making policies related to foreign tourists in accordance with their home regions. Sources of data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency. In this study, researchers used the Backpropagation Algorithm. Backpropagation Algorithm is an algorithm that serves to reduce the error rate by adjusting the weight based on the desired output and target. From the test results of foreign tourist visit data obtained in 1-4-1 architecture which shows the target is reduced by the output that SSE 1.03218 which shows that there is an increase in the number of visits as a target. From the data obtained, that the performance calculation of artificial neural networks with Backpropagation Algorithm is 83.3This research contributes to the government and the community to further increase the provision of facilities, infrastructure, infrastructure, transportation and accommodation in order to get a satisfying predicate to improve the quality of the world market.

Abstract

This study focuses on implementing an API using the Flask framework in the Python programming language, which is then deployed as a Cloud Run service to facilitate data updating processes in XYZ company. By utilizing Flask as a lightweight and user-friendly API development framework, we successfully integrated it into the Google Cloud Platform's (GCP) Cloud Run environment to leverage its scalability and high performance. Our testing indicates that the Cloud Run service provides benefits in terms of automatic scalability, easy infrastructure management, and high reliability in efficiently processing data updates. Thus, the findings of this research affirm that this approach offers an effective solution for enhancing data updating processes in XYZ company, leveraging the advantages of Flask technology and the Cloud Run service.
