Abstract

This study aims to identify whether the role of a leader enhances employee performance at the Kecamatan Tampan Pekanbaru. This research employs a qualitative method, aiming to unveil occurrences and facts that unfold during the research process and reflect the actual reality. The sampling technique employed is saturated sampling, with a total of 24 employees at the Kecamatan Tampan Pekanbaru as the sample size. From the data collected at the Kecamatan Tampan Pekanbaru, the researcher identifies the phenomenon that the role of a leader is highly essential in improving employee performance. A leader who can provide support, guidance, and effective direction to employees will positively impact their performance. Research observations indicate that the presence of a leader in the workplace enhances employee productivity, whereas the absence of a leader leads to suboptimal work and often results in delaying task completion until the last minute. The current performance assessment is still subjective and is not yet capable of accurately measuring what should be measured. As a result, the monthly performance assessment tends to be consistently positive, even though employee behavior and performance still require improvement. Interview results demonstrate that employees expect a leader to work longer hours than other employees and possess strong communication skills, ensuring that assigned tasks are explained clearly. In conclusion, the role of a leader, such as providing support, guidance, and effective communication, significantly contributes to enhancing employee performance. However, the subjective nature of performance assessment requires improvement to more accurately reflect the quality of employees' work.

Abstract

In an organization, archives play a role as a provider of information and for decision making. Archive management is one of the important activities carried out at PT Jasa Raharja TK 1 Medan Representative, this archive management aims to make archive storage more systematic and structured. Archive management carried out at PT Jasa Raharja has not used the correct management procedure, marked by the difficulty in retrieving claim documents that have been used because the documents are not neatly arranged. Therefore, it is necessary to have management such as archive maintenance which can help make it easier for employees to find archives again. The analytical method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method and the data taken is primary data which can be directly through observation and interviews. The results of this study indicate that archives have a very important role at PT Jasa Raharja Representative TK 1 Medan, as evidenced by the difficulty in retrieving archives which hinders employee performance. Therefore, it is necessary for archivists to check and rearrange the archive shelves according to the archive classification.

Abstract

To find out internal factors (strengths and weaknesses) external factors (opportunities and threats) as considerations in determining policies for the Medan LP3I Polytechnic. This research uses qualitative methods to examine the condition of natural objects. This research uses descriptions from IFE internal environmental analysis research (Strengths and Weaknesses), EFE external environmental analysis (Opportunities and Threats), SWOT matrix, Quantitative Strategic Planning (QSPM) matrix analysis. The results of this research indicate that the internal environmental analysis of the Medan LP3I Polytechnic consists of Strength (S) and Weakness (W). Analysis of the external environment of the Medan LP3I Polytechnic consists of Opportunity (O) and Threat (T).

Abstract

This research was conducted to provide empirical evidence of the influence of gross profit, operating profit and net profit in predicting cash flow. The research population is manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The sampling technique used the purposive sampling method used in selecting objects as samples in this research were 57 sample companies. The analysis model used in this research is a multiple linear regression analysis model carried out with the help of the SPSS version 26 program. The results of this research show that partially gross profit, operating profit and net profit have a significant positive effect on cash flow. The research results simultaneously show that gross profit, operating profit, net profit have a significant positive influence on cash flow.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of organizational communication, motivation and work discipline on employee performance. The total population in this study was 70 people, and by using saturated sampling techniques a sample of 70 people was obtained. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results of the research show that organizational communication has a significant effect on the performance of employees of the Medan City UMKM Cooperative Service, motivation has a significant effect on the performance of employees of the Medan City UMKM Cooperative Service, work discipline has no effect on the performance of employees of the Medan City UMKM Cooperative Service. Simultaneously, it shows that organizational communication, motivation and work discipline have a significant effect on the performance of employees of the Medan City UMKM Cooperative Service,

Abstract

The phenomenon of using influencer marketing is a form of promotional strategy that has been trending in recent years. The massive use of social media influences the way people make their purchasing decisions. Now people believe in one figure who is considered to have the right opinion. Therefore, this research will discuss the Influence of Influencer Marketing on Interest in Buying Internet Package Services, with a case study of LP3I Medan Polytechnic students who use Telkomsel internet package services. The purpose of this research is to find out whether Influencer Marketing (X) has an influence on Purchase Interest (Y). This research uses indicators from each variable. The indicators of Influencer Marketing are visibility, credibility, attractiveness, power. And indicators of Buying Interest are transactional interest, referential interest, preferential interest and exploratory interest. This research uses quantitative methods with a population of 35 people and a sample of 35 people. Meanwhile, to manage research data using the SPSS version 22 program. Based on the research results, it can be seen that the influencer marketing variable partially has a significant effect on the purchase interest variable as proven in the results of the T test research with a calculated t value of 14.441 > t table 1.692 and a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05. The results of a simple linear regression test which has the equation Y = a + bX shows that the influencer marketing variable shows a coefficient value of 0.914, which means that the influencer marketing variable has a positive influence on the purchase interest variable. The results of the coefficient of determination test show that the value (R Square) obtained is 0.863 (86.3%) indicating that influencer marketing has an influence on purchasing interest of 86.3%.

Abstract

This research discusses the influence of facilities and infrastructure on the work effectiveness of PDAM Tirtanadi Sunggal Branch employees. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of facilities and infrastructure (X) on employee work effectiveness (Y). This research uses indicators from each variable. The indicators for facilities and infrastructure (X) are Equipment, Supplies, Infrastructure. Indicators of work effectiveness (Y) are goal achievement, work quality, work quantity, punctuality, job satisfaction. This research uses quantitative methods with a population of 46 people and a sample of 46 people, while for managing research data using the SPSS version 23 program. Based on the research results, it can be seen that the facilities and infrastructure variables partially have a significant effect on the work effectiveness variable as proven by the results of the T test with a calculated t value of 10.154 > t table 1.680 and a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05. The results of the simple linear regression test which has the equation Y = 36.876 + 0.783 show that the facilities and infrastructure variable shows a coefficient value of 0.783, which means that the facilities and infrastructure variable has a positive influence on the work effectiveness variable. The results of the coefficient of determination test show that the value (R square) obtained is 0.701 (70.1%) indicating that facilities and infrastructure have an influence on employee work effectiveness by 70.1%.

Abstract

An agency certainly needs a good archiving system to make it easier to find archives again. Archives are useful as evidence in written form. Archives in an agency have a very important role, maintaining security and confidentiality received or created by an agency will develop in accordance with the growth of the information itself. If the archiving system is implemented well, it will also have a good effect on work efficiency. This research is to determine the extent to which the archival system influences work efficiency at the Beringin Police. With archival system indicators, namely simplicity, archival procedures, economical, security, strategic and flexible. As well as indicators of work efficiency, namely the principle of planning, the principle of simplification, the principle of savings, the principle of elimination and the principle of merging. This research uses quantitative methods by collecting data through questionnaires addressed to Beringin Police staff or personnel. The population in the study was 30 people. Then the researcher took a sample, namely a saturated sample, where the entire population was used as a sample, namely staff or personnel totaling 30 people. The data was processed using validity tests, reliability tests, simple linear regression, analysis of the coefficient of determination and partial T test as data analysis.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work stress, role conflict, and emotional exhaustion on organizational commitment at PT. Vinsia Bingkai, Medan. The method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis involving 102 respondents. The results of the study indicate that work stress and role conflict have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, with significance values ​​of 0.048 and 0.036, respectively. On the other hand, emotional exhaustion does not show a significant effect on organizational commitment, with a significance value of 0.494. This study concludes that management needs to pay attention to work stress and role conflict factors to increase employee commitment, while emotional exhaustion needs to be managed so as not to interfere with employee performance. These findings are expected to provide insight for management in formulating better strategies to increase organizational commitment in the company.
