Abstract

This study aims to determine the family burden, level of education, and condition of land ownership as social characteristics of lowland rice farmers in Molompar Village. The research method is descriptive-quantitative. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses a simple statistical mode. The results showed that lowland rice farmers have a family burden of more than two dependents, so that by working as a lowland rice farmer alone, they cannot meet the basic needs of the family. The education of lowland rice farmers is the last level of education (junior high school or equivalent), and there are still many children of rice farmers who have to drop out of school due to economic factors. The ownership of paddy fields belongs to other people, so farmers are part of cultivating farmers.

Abstract

This study analyzes the relationship between learning interest and geography learning outcomes of students at SMA Advent Bitung using a quantitative survey method on 21 students. Data were collected through a questionnaire that measures learning interest based on indicators such as feelings of pleasure, attention, interest, engagement, and participation, and learning outcomes are measured through students' geography learning outcomes. The results show that students' learning interest is in the high category with an average score above 72, while the average geography learning outcome score is 73. Data analysis using the Pearson correlation test produced a correlation coefficient of 0.866, indicating a very strong relationship between the two variables. The t-test also showed significance below 0.05, confirming a significant positive relationship. This study concludes that increasing students' learning interest can be an effective strategy to improve their learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the socio-economic study of cap tikus farmers in Wuwuk Village, Tareran District, South Minahasa Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation. The results of the study indicate that: 1) The level of education of cap tikus farmers in Wuwuk Village is in the middle category. 2) The income of cap tikus farmers is an average of IDR 4,000,000/month, with the highest income of IDR 6,000,000/month and the lowest IDR 2,700,000/month 3) The level of consumption or expenditure of cap tikus farmers per month is at least around IDR 3,000,000 and at most IDR 7,000,000, which is for daily needs. 4) Ownership of assets or land used by farmers for processing cap tikus still uses land owned by other people. 5) Farmers' access to the cap tikus processing site is poor because of uneven development, in this case some roads are already concrete and some are still dirt. 6) Marketing of captikus in Wuwuk Village is still limited because farmers only sell cap tikus to collectors and some of them sell retail at their homes.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the development of the 'captikus' processing industry in Tokin Village. The research method was descriptive qualitative, data collection techniques were observation, documentation, interviews and tests as the main techniques. The sample was purposive sampling. The results of the study showed that: 1) Efforts made by 'Captiukus' managers in Tokin Village were as follows: follow technological developments, organize businesses, make business plans, determine product prices, provide good service, expand market networks, and minimize production costs. 2) Factors that support business development are: Business capital, Labor, Willingness to do business/motivation to do business, Availability of raw materials, Availability of consumers, Existence of business opportunities, and the government that grants permits. 3) Factors that inhibit the development of the 'Captikus' industry are: Small business capital, Business permit obstacles, Lack of product innovation, Human resources, Business and consumer access and 4) The impact of the 'captikus' management business on the socio-economic life of the population.

Abstract

XI of SMA Negeri 1 Tomohon. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method. The subjects of this study were geography teachers and students at SMA Negeri 1 Tomohon. This study used reduction analysis techniques, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. By collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the factors that influence student character in geography learning. It can be seen from the results of the interview that internal factors are the formation of character from the students themselves and encouragement from their surroundings. The second is external factors are factors consisting of family, cultural, and social school environments that help students grow and develop character. Where the attention and support of parents and the role of geography teachers are very influential in the formation of student character.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dari survei ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana tingkat kepuasan masyarakat Batu Bara terhadap kualitas pelayanan yang ada di setiap Dinas di Kabupaten Batu Bara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, yang bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai analisis kepuasan masyarakat dalam pelayanan publik di setiap Dinas yang ada di Kabupaten Batu Bara. Untuk menganalisis nilai Survei Kepuasan Masyarakat dihitung dengan menggunakan "nilai rata-rata tertimbang" masing-masing unsur pelayanan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (a) Nilai Indeks Kepuasan Masyarakat diketahui sebesar 73,64%. Indeks ini menunjukan bahwa kualitas pelayanan yang ada di Dinas-Dinas Kabupaten Batu Bara masuk dalam kategori “KURANG BAIK”(C); (b) Dari sembilan unsur pelayanan yang diukur, hanya terdapat dua unsur pelayanan yang menunjukan kategori “BAIK” yakni di unsur kompetensi petugas dan unsur perilkau petugas. Sedangkan tujuh (7) unsur lainnya yang menunjukan kategori “KURANG BAIK”, diantaranya yakni unsur persyaratan pelayanan, prosedur pelayanan, waktu penyelesaian pelayanan, produk spesifikasi pelayanan, dan sarana dan prasarana: (c) bahwa persepsi masyarakat yang ada dalam survei kepuasan masyarakat di Kabupaten Batu Bara ini merupakan sebuah respon dari reaksi yang diungkapkan sebagai bentuk masukan, maupun kritik yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan publik yang ada di Kabupaten Batu Bara.

Abstract

This research aims to find out whether using the library as a learning resource interest in learning to find out the role of teachers in motivating students to use the library as a learning resource for class XI IPS students at Tumou Tou Girian Bitung Christian High School The research method used is descriptive qualitative with interview observation and documentation data collection techniques The research results prove that libraries are part of an effective learning resource it can be seen from students feeling happy when studying in the library because it is easy to get information and complate assignments The library provides many reference books that help students learn more quickly and easily This explains that using the library as a learning resource can increase students interest in learning Teachhers combine classroom learning which means teachers often create lessons that are not only centered in the classroom but can also direct students to do direct learning in the library < em>< p>

Abstract

The main research problem is how the use of Jigsaw learning can improve students learning outcomes in geography subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Remboken The research objective is to determine the use of Jigsaw learning to enhance students learning outcomes in geography subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Remboken < em> The research method employed is descriptive quantitative research with data collection techniques including observation documentation interviews and tests as the main techniques The sampling method used is purposive sampling The research respondents are 27 students from class Xb < em>The research findings indicate that: 1 The results of the learning activities show that the majority of students who participated in this research demonstrated good learning activities during the learning process 2 Most students who participated in this research showed successful participation in the learning activities resulting in good learning outcomes The data shows that students achieved a score of 70 with all 27 students 100 of the participants obtaining this score Therefore all students are considered successful in the Jigsaw learning they participated in < em>< p>

Abstract

He main research problem is how is community participation in environmental preservation efforts in the Korololama Village area District Petasia The aim of the research is to determine community participation in environmental conservation efforts in Korololama Village Qualitative research methods data collection techniques namely observation documentation and interviews Sample data collection was carried out purposively sampling and snowball with research informants namely community leaders village government and residents totaling 9 informants The research results show: 1 Forms of community participation in business conservation carried out in Korololama Village Patasia District Regency Morowali Central Sulawesi Province namely: Taking part in carrying out cleanliness environment take part in social work to organize the environment plant trees for reforestation and provide suggestions regarding conservation and donation efforts monetary donations 2 factors driving community participation in business conservation is carried out because of the role of community leaders there are benefits activities and there is population awareness for environmental preservation and 3 Business government measures carried out by the government to increase community participation in conservation efforts namely: providing guidance motivation and providing funds for environmental conservation activities < em>< p>

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine community participation in environmental cleanliness in Para Lelle Village Tatoareng District Sangihe Islands Regency The research method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive research method with data collection techniques namely observation interviews and documentation The results of this research 1 Forms of community participation in maintaining environmental cleanliness in Para Lelle Village are seen based on the context namely real forms of participation consisting of labor participation and skills participation Meanwhile forms of community participation in maintaining environmental cleanliness in Para Lelle Village are seen based on their involvement namely direct participation 2 The level of community participation in maintaining environmental cleanliness in Para Lelle Village is still relatively low and medium 3 There are two factors that influence community participation in maintaining environmental cleanliness in Para Lelle Village namely driving factors and inhibiting factors The driving factors for community participation in maintaining environmental cleanliness in Para Lelle Village are the level of knowledge length of stay and the role of government and community leaders The factors inhibiting community participation in maintaining environmental cleanliness in Para Lelle Village are employment level of knowledge the role of government and facilities and infrastructure < em>< p>
