Abstract

Javanese chilies are known to contain secondary metabolite compounds in extracts using 96% ethanol, ethyl acetate and n-hexane as solvents. The aim of the research was to determine the secondary metabolite compounds contained in Javanese chili extract using 96% ethanol, ethyl acetate and n-hexane as solvents. The research was conducted in the Pharmacy laboratory of the Islamic University of Madura. The extraction method used is the ultrasonic method using 3 types of solvents, namely 96% ethanol, ethyl acetate, n-hexane. Qualitative testing uses the Phytochemical screening method to determine the content of secondary metabolite compounds such as alkaloids, saponins, flavonoids, tannins and steroids. The research results showed that qualitative testing using the phytochemical screening method with different solvents showed that the extract using 96% ethanol solvent contained secondary metabolite compounds of alkaloids, tannins, saponins and steroids. Extracts with ethyl acetate solvent contain secondary metabolite compounds of alkaloids, tannins and saponins. The extract with n-hexane solvent only contains secondary steroid metabolite compounds. The conclusion of this study shows that different polar properties of the solvent can influence the content of secondary metabolite compounds found in Javanese chili extracts using a phytochemical screening test.

Abstract

Parental divorce is a complex issue that has a significant impact on children, both from a psychological, social and educational perspective. This research analyzes the impact of divorce on children, focusing on psychological, social and educational aspects. Through literature studies from various sources, this research found that divorce can cause children to experience emotional trauma, adjustment difficulties, behavioral problems, learning difficulties, and decreased achievement. Children who are victims of divorce are also vulnerable to mental problems, such as low self-esteem, easily giving up hope, apathy, and even criminal acts. This research emphasizes the important role of parents, teachers, social workers and the government in providing support and protection to children who are victims of divorce. The importance of public awareness about the impact of divorce on children was also emphasized.

Abstract

Madura Island in Indonesia is known for its distinctive culture and unique social and economic dynamics. One of the important traditions in the Madurese socio-economic context is sangkolan, a local practice related to the distribution of wealth within society. The sangkolan tradition has been passed down from generation to generation and still plays an important role in remote villages in Madura. This research aims to analyze the influence of the sangkolan tradition on the distribution of wealth in Madura using a political economic approach. This approach was chosen to understand how local power structures, resource distribution, and socio-economic relations influence wealth distribution patterns among Madurese society. Furthermore, this research explores the role of sangkolan in maintaining the status quo of wealth and power or as a tool for more equitable redistribution. Through political economic analysis, this article reveals how the practice of sangkolan is an important factor in determining wealth distribution patterns in Madura, not only as a symbol of cultural identity, but also as a mechanism that has a real impact on the social and economic structure of society.

Abstract

Indonesia's economy is highly dependent on cooperation with other countries, especially in the field of imports and exports, and has a certain influence on its economic growth. The aim of this qualitative research is to explain how the US-China trade war has an impact on Indonesia's political economy. Qualitative research collects descriptive data from people's written and spoken behavior and words. This research collects data by reading documents or literature about trade wars and information from the internet. The US-China trade war is actually a big market opportunity to bridge the market gap between the two countries, so the impact of this trade war on Indonesia itself is not too big. This is because the products targeted in the trade war are not products that Indonesia exports to these two countries.

Abstract

This research analyzes the strategic steps that Indonesia can take in facing foreign debt challenges from a political-economic perspective. Indonesia's foreign debt has become an important issue in recent decades, with its impact not only on economic stability, but also in the domestic and international political context. Using a political economy theory approach, this research seeks to explain the interaction between economic policy, political interests and global dynamics in debt management. This research finds that an effective debt management strategy requires a combination of disciplined fiscal policy, strong economic diplomacy, and diversification of financing sources. Through these steps, Indonesia can minimize the risk of dependence on foreign debt and increase economic independence.
