Abstract

This study aims to examine how the decision to visit tourists to tourist destinations Tirta Empul Temple Tampaksiring Gianyar Bali. The dependent variable used in this study is the decision to visit, while promotion, destination attributes and place branding are independent variables. The population of the study were visitors who came to the Tirta Empul Temple Tourism Destination, the research sample was 105 people using accidental sampling technique, with a quantitative descriptive approach, using analytical tools. Partial Least Square (PLS) software SmartPLS. The results of the analysis show promotion and destination attributes have a positive and significant effect on place branding with a value of 7.098 and 6.626, respectively, promotion has a positive and insignificant effect on decisions to visit tourist destinations with a value of 1.603, destination attributes have a positive and significant effect on decisions to visit tourist destinations with a value of 1.603. 3,429, place branding has a positive and significant effect on decisions to visit tourist destinations with a value of 4.646, the formation of place branding is more dominantly influenced by destination attributes, and decision making to visit tourist destinations is more dominantly influenced by place branding. Place Branding acts as a full mediator.

Abstract

The Panca Rasa Puruk Cahu Restaurant is one of the companies in Murung Raya Central Kalimantan Province, where its business is engaged in providing products (goods and services). In providing services to the community, Panca Rasa Restaurant is required to do the best and provide satisfaction to customers in their services. This study aims to determine the quality of service about customer satisfaction at the Panca Rasa Puruk Cahu restaurant. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through: observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques: data reduction data presentation and drawing conclusions, with the respondents are consumers at the Panca Rasa Restaurant, consumers who have been set as many as 8 people. From the results of the research analysis, it can be concluded that the quality of service is shown from the aspects of tangible, realibility, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy at the Panca Rasa Puruk Cahu restaurant as follows: Tangible aspects provide complete facilities, arrangement of goods and appearance. Clean and tidy employees. In the aspect of reliability, using a manual system in making payment transactions for operating hours that are always correct and provide polite and courteous service. Responsiveness aspect, always responds / responds to complaints and complaints from consumers, but consumers must first find employees to get service. Aspects of assurance, providing security, comfort, and guarantees for products purchased by consumers and employees having skills and knowledge about the products being sold. Aspects of empathy, employees always communicate to consumers.

Abstract

The development of the sharia financial industry causes universities to prepare their students. The case-based learning is one way to response to the industry's need for human resources with more skills to be ready for work. Therefore, this study aims to measure the effectiveness of case-based learning as measured by the variables of perception, motivation, and performance. Based on the results of experimental tests conducted on 91 students who were divided into two classes, there were no differences in perceptions, motivations, and learning performance between case-based classes and instructional classes. This could be because case-based learning can be more effective in classes with a smaller number of students and for a longer period of time. In addition, the experience of students in receiving and analyzing previous cases is also an obstacle in the effectiveness of case-based learning. This study also found motivation to be a very important variable in increasing perceptions of skill acquisition and learning performance in case-based learning.

Abstract

Gojek is an application commonly used in Indonesia, based on a survey by the Yayasan Lembaga Konsumen Indonesia (YLKI). Since the Covid-19 pandemic emerged, various adaptations to new habits called the New Normal have been implemented, causing a change in the lifestyle of Gojek drivers. Another habit studied was bad habit, which according to the American Psychological Association is common in millennials and causes them to experience stress. The purpose of this study was to analyse whether bad habits and the New Normal habit affect Gojek drivers’ performance in Salatiga. The respondents in this study were 160 Gojek drivers. Respondents' answers regarding bad habits are high, especially on the habit of drivers who sit for too long, in their routine of riding motorcycles. Based on the answers, the habits of the new normal era were also high, especially in the understanding of drivers in using masks correctly. This research was conducted using a quantitative causality method. The hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis shows that bad habits and new normal habits simultaneously affect drivers’ performance. On other hand, the habits of the new normal habit positively affect drivers’ performance, while bad habits have no effect on the performance of Gojek drivers in Salatiga even though it was high.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to improve students' basic understanding of accounting by using the Direct Instruction (DI) model on financial statement materials using worksheet media. This research is action research with research subjects of Accounting Education students at Gunung Rinjani University. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews, documentation and tests. While the data analysis technique used is quantitative and qualitative data analysis, the combination method used is a convergent parallel mixed method. The results indicate that implemantation of Direct Instruction (DI) model with worksheet media can improve students' basic understanding of accounting. The increase in students’ basic understanding is shown by various changes in students’ abilities in terms of students' abilities in preparing income statements, preparing Statement of Retained Earnings, and students' abilities in preparing balance sheet. The increase in students' basic understanding of accounting in this study was also marked by an increase in the average value of basic accounting understanding, the average value of students from 20.00 before receiving the action to 49.33 after receiving the action in cycle 1 and increasing again to 80.67 after receiving the action. in cycle 2 and increased to 84.33 in cycle 3. In cycles 2 and 3, 93.33% of students succeeded in increasing their basic understanding of accounting.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the feasibility of booklet teaching materials based on the 5E learning cycle model developed in accounting subjects for class X SMK BM Panca Budi 2 Medan. The location of the research was at SMK BM Panca Budi 2 Medan, on Jalan Gatot Subroto KM 4,5. The class was class X Accounting for the 2020/2021 Academic Year.  This research applied quantitative research and development with a 4-D teaching material development model (Four D Model), or 4P by Thiagjaran and Semmel (Trianto, 2013). The 4D development model consists of 4 main stages, namely: (1) define, (2) design, (3) develop, and (4) disseminate. The data analysis technique used was descriptive and inferential techniques. Based on the results of the research, the product of booklet teaching materials based on the 5E learning cycle model in accounting subjects with general journal material in class X SMK BM Panca Budi 2 Medan was feasible to use based on material expert validation with an average of 96.37% design experts, an average of 95, 8% and media experts with an average of 92.9%. Thus, it is suggested to teachers, especially at SMK BM Panca Budi 2 Medan to be more creative in making teaching materials.

Abstract

We must overcome students' low understanding of cost accounting courses with learning models that follow learning needs. Blended learning answers these problems, namely, using learning kits in modules, handouts, videos, and questions. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the use of the blended learning model on student learning outcomes in cost accounting courses at the State University of Malang. Based on the results of the tests carried out, it was found that there were differences in student learning outcomes that were equipped with a learning kit and students who did not equip. This indicates that students get a better understanding conceptually or in solving real problems. Learning models equipped with learning kits will improve student competence as reflected in learning outcomes.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that lasted more than a year had an impact on all levels of society, especially the tourism sector players in Bali Province. This study aims to determine the adaptation of the economic actions of tourism sector actors during the Covid-19 pandemic in Banjar Lodsema, Lodtunduh Village, Ubud District, Gianyar Regency, Bali Province. The research method is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this research are tourism sector actors in Banjar Lodsema while the object is the adaptation of economic actions taken by tourism sector actors during the Covid-19 pandemic. Data was collected by observation and interviews. The data that has been collected is analyzed through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that there is an adaptation of the economic actions of tourism sector actors in Banjar Lodsema, Lodtunduh Village, Ubud District, Gianyar Regency, Bali Province in the form of (1) actions prioritizing the fulfillment of primary needs, (2) maximizing the tourism sector business that is already owned, ( 3) opening a new business in the culinary field, (4) diversifying products, (5) maximizing the side business (online) that you already have, (6) looking for additional income such as being a laborer, (7) doing other businesses in agriculture and farms, and some (8) do forex trading.

Abstract

E-Government is one of the information technology public services provided by the government to improve performance, efficiency, accountability, and public trust. However, there are still many public complaints about alleged administrative fraud in public services. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between digital transformation through the introduction of e-government and improving the quality of public services in Bali and which of these two factors affect the quality of public services through the introduction of e-government in Bali. This study was conducted on people in Bali Province who have used online public services. Data were collected through an online questionnaire instrument with a sample of 70 respondents. The analysis technique uses PLS analysis. The results of the analysis show that the role of the community, ICT and E-Government have a significant effect on the quality of public services in the Province of Bali. E-Government has an important role in improving the quality of public services optimally in the Province of Bali.

Abstract

This paper is the result of research that aims to identify and analyze whether religiosity and lifestyle partially or simultaneously contribute to the influence of Muslim consumer attitudes in Lombok. The research results were processed by SPSS 20.0 testing. and the results both partially and simultaneously affect the behavior of Muslim consumers. And of the two variables, the more significant contribution to Muslim consumer behavior is the religiosity factor. It was found that at the level of religiosity most of the respondents stated their agreement on the elements that make up the dimensions of aqidah, shari'ah, religious knowledge, appreciation, and practice dimensions. This means that the consumer's decision to buy a product is in accordance with the content of their faith. Religious activities do not only occur when a person carries out rituals, but also when carrying out other activities such as buying and selling methods, consuming etc. For lifestyle variables, 78% of respondents reported their agreement on the main factors that make lifestyles, namely demographic factors such as education, age and total income that affect a person's lifestyle. Meanwhile, on psychographic factors, 91% of respondents agreed that psychographic factors such as interests, interests, hobbies and opinions affect a person's lifestyle. In this study, the determining variables in consumption activities are the consumption foundation and the consumption principle.
