Abstract

Universities are currently focusing on generic skills and students' critical thinking abilities. The demands on the workplace and the transformation in the field of technology cause theoretical knowledge is not enough to be successful in the workplace. As an auditor, students must have expertise, technical training, and professional skills in order to carry out audit implementation and report preparation. Accounting educators make a variety of innovations in response to the need to transfer knowledge in today's online learning environment, one of which is the use of video as a learning tool. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of using video podcasts (Radio Audit) on accounting students' engagement in auditing courses. Through a case study approach, this study found that the use of video podcasts increased student engagement in the third dimension (behavioral, emotional, and cognitive). According to the findings of surveys and interviews with students, the use of video podcasts increases student motivation in studying, increases flexibility, and makes it easier for them to understand the main points that must be mastered so that they can be successful in completing the final exam. This research contributes to the field of education by demonstrating that learning by using video podcasts can be an effective means and expands the study of the use of video podcasts in learning in universities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the knowledge (cognitive) of the Public Service Agency manager in managing university assets. This research was conducted at three State Islamic Religious Universities that have received the mandate of the Public Service Agency, including the State Islamic University of Sunan Ampel Surabaya, Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, and Walisongo Semarang. Data collection was carried out using in-depth interviews with an unstructured approach. The key informants in the research were the chancellor, vice-rector and head of the general affairs bureau, and the head of the business unit. Data analysis used domain analysis and content analysis methods. The study results indicate that the knowledge of the Public Service Agency manager at the Islamic Religious College is still at the stage of applying the regulations on the Public Service Agency. There have not been many thoughts on the management of the Public Service Agency that analyze and evaluate the mandate of the Public Service Agency from the government. Moreover, creating or developing asset management owned. In general, the cognitive management of the Public Service Agency at Islamic Religious Universities is not total. This condition has an impact that is not optimal in managing assets as a source of non-academic higher education income.

Abstract

The existence of distance learning activities causes the learning process to be obstructed. Less appropriate use of media will be able to impact on the learning outcomes of learners due to the lack of optimal level of availability of learning materials. The purpose of this study is to know the process of media development itself, describe the feasibility of the media, as well as the response of learners, and the learning outcomes of learners after the use of Mentimeter. This study uses a type of research and development research with the subjects studied are students of XI IPS SMA Labschool Unesa. Results showed that development results of using Mentimeter generated positive feedback from learners. Learners are aroused by their interest and motivation in learning Economics thanks to the ease of use and content listed in the media. Utilization of contextually assisted contextual learning media Mentimeter is also fairly effective in learning seen from the significant improvement of learners' learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to describe (1) how people consider the price factor, (2) the ease factor, and (3) the trust factor in making online purchasing decisions. The purpose of this study is to find out how people consider the price factor, the ease factor, and the trust factor in making online purchasing decisions. This research was conducted in Setupatok Village, Mundu District, Cirebon Regency. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used, namely interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using qualitative data analysis, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. Meanwhile, the validity of the data was tested by technical triangulation. The results of the study show: (1) on the price factor, consumers tend to choose products that have affordable prices. The way to do this is by comparing the prices of one store with another and choosing to buy on discount products or when there are certain events such as HARBOLNAS (Hari Belanja Online Nasional), (2) then on the ease factor, consumers tend to choose online that provide a system COD (Cash On Delivery), especially for novice consumers, and (3) On the trust factor, consumers trust online that have a good reputation.

Abstract

This study examines how much influence emotional quotients, intelligence quotients, spiritual quotients, social intelligence and learning behavior have on the understanding of accounting level and see whether there are differences in there are any differences to those factors and understanding of accounting level between male and female students. The SWCU Economics and Business Faculty accounting students were used as research objects. This research is quantitative research, with a sampling technique used purposive sampling and collecting 94 students who passed 10 conditional courses (PBMt) as respondents. Data was collected by submitting questionnaire which was distributed via email. Multiple linear regression test and Independent Sample t Test were used to analyze the data. The result of the study showed that emotional quotients, intelligence quotients, spiritual quotients have a positive influence on the level of accounting understanding, while social intelligence and learning behavior have a negative influence on the level of accounting understanding. This study also proves that there are only differences in emotional intelligence between male and female students.

Abstract

Economic literacy is very important for life, because the higher our level of economic literacy, the better we are at dealing with problems and finding solutions regarding the economy. This research was conducted to see what factors can increase the economic literacy of Development Economics students. With the research location at the Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Development Economics Study Program, Jakarta. The method used is survey and analyzed using ordinary least square multiple linear regression. The study used primary data by distributing questionnaires to 159 students of the Development Economics Study Program who had received courses in micro and macro economic theory. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling using the Slovin formula. The results showed that the variables of parents' occupation, parents' income, mother's education and gender influenced economic literacy. While the variables of e-wallet ownership and learning achievement do not significantly affect economic literacy.

Abstract

University of 17 August 1945 Banyuwangi is one of the universities in Banyuwangi Regency. Being a private university, of course, makes the University of 17 August 1945 Banyuwangi to be maximal in providing services to its students. The services provided by the campus certainly do not only refer to the classroom learning provided by the lecturers, but also from the employees who work on campus. In order for employees to be maximal in providing services to students, of course,the first these employees must  be prosperous from the economic side. Based on this, the authors are interested in researching more deeply about how the role of compensation applied by the campus can motivate its employees. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with interviews as the basis for data collection. Informants in this research amounted to 5 people who have more than 10 years of work experience and are at the level of officials and staff. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it is found that the fair principle and the fair and reasonable principle applied in the compensation system are able to motivate employees at work. The fair principle applied is reflected through the provision of compensation in accordance with the workload and position of the employee. Then, the principle of worth is felt by employees through the opportunity to get a comfortable and calm life because they are able to meet the needs of life in Banyuwangi properly and fairly.

Abstract

The goals of the study was to measure the level of influence of the variable earning per share, price to earnings ratio, trading volume activity and price to book value on stock split decisions. This type of research was quantitative where the methods used are descriptive and associative methods. Sampling used in this study is by means of purposive sampling using 6 criteria. The analytical technique used is logistic regression, descriptive statistics, Hosmer and Lemeshow's Goodnes of Fit test, multicollinearity test, coefficient of determination testing and partial hypothesis testing used (t test) and simultaneous hypothesis used the F test. This study bring about, according to the t-test result shows PBV has a significant positive effect on stock split decisions, while EPS, PER, TVA, does not have a significant negative effect on stock split decisions, according to the f-test result shows EPS, PER, TVA and PBV have a simultaneous and significant influence on decisions stock splits.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the differences between the Zmijewski model, the Taffler model, the Taffler model and the Grover model in predicting financial distress in SOEs. BUMNs were chosen because BUMNs that were considered not to make a big contribution to the state budget were even reported to have gone bankrupt. The object of research is BUMN that has listed its name on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2016 - 2020. With a total of 16 companies, 90 total observations are obtained. The variable size was measured by the cut-off value in the Zmijewski (X-Score), Taffler (T-Score), Springate (S-Score) and Grover (G-Score) models. The results of the analysis show that the x-score, t-score and s-score show the same results regarding the predictions of 2 SOEs experiencing financial difficulties (GIAA and KRAS), these three models emphasize the company's ability to fulfill obligations to third parties. In addition, Zmijewski (X-Score), Taffler (T-Score), Springate (S-Score) also show a mismatch when used as a predictor of financial failure in the banking sector. Meanwhile, the g-score is a less sensitive model in predicting bankruptcy because it emphasizes the comparison of working capital and profit.

Abstract

Financial management behavior has a tremendous impact on an individual's future and alternatives to avoid excessive financial problems. Furthermore, sustainable consumption and production patterns can apply efficiency to use resources, live with minimum waste and live clean in every aspect of life. However, in reality, students have economic activities that choose everything instantaneous to meet their needs with buying food instead of cooking it. The type of study conducted was descriptive qualitative research. The data collection was conducted by interviewing the Department of Social Science Education students, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Mulawarman University class 2018-2021, who lived in boarding houses. The data analysis consists of three activity, data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. Based on the findings, it was known that students tended to think less about green economy-based financial management behavior and only focused on financial management behavior without thinking about their environment. Students waste resources that can harm their environment, and they only choose to save on products that have benefits for themselves and do not think about the benefits for their surroundings that students tend no to turn off electronic devices after use. Therefore, students should start to be able to minimize the waste of resources that can harm their surroundings and think more about their environment.
