Abstract

This study aimed to examine and analyze the effect of implementing occupational safety and health programs on employee productivity at PT. Pertamina (Persero) Regional VII Sulawesi. The population used in this study are employees who work at PT. Pertamina (Persero) Makassar BBM Terminal with a total of 160 employees. The determination of the number of samples was obtained using the Slovin formula so that the number of samples used in this study was 62 employees. The source of data used in this research is primary data. Primary data from this study were obtained from questionnaires filled in by employees at PT. Pertamina. Data analysis used a validity test, reliability test, multiple linear regression analysis, partial test, simultaneous test, and determination test. The results showed that occupational safety and occupational health positively influence employee productivity variables at PT. Pertamina (Persero) Makassar Fuel Terminal. Meanwhile, the work safety program variable has the dominant influence on employee productivity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the simultaneous and partial influence of organizational culture and competence on employee performance at the Makassar City Communication and Information Service. The data were obtained from 87 respondents determined based on the slovin method. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using descriptive and multiple linear regression analyses. This research is a quantitative research type. The type of data used is primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires to all respondents. This study used descriptive statistical techniques and SPSS-assisted path analysis for data analysis. In addition to maintaining data quality, research uses validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The analysis results show that organizational culture, competence, and employee performance descriptively are well perceived. The results of multiple regression analysis show that corporate culture and competence have a positive and significant effect on the performance of the Makassar City Communication and Information Service employees both partially and simultaneously.

Abstract

This study analyzes the Effect of Profitability and Leverage on Stock Returns in Banking Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population used in this study were banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2013-2017, totaling eight companies. The type of data used is secondary data originating from the publication of annual reports of Banking Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2013-2017 period. The analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that only the Return on Equity variable partially had a positive and significant effect on stock returns with an ROE value of less than 0.05. Meanwhile, the Debt-to-Equity Ratio variable negatively and significantly affects stock returns with a DER value of less than 0.05. The coefficient of determination shows a value of 0.634. This means that 63.4% of Return on Equity (ROE) is explained by the Profitability and Debt To Equity (DER) variables or Leverage variables. The remaining 36.6% is influenced by other factors not included in this research model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of product, price, promotion, and distribution factors on purchasing decisions of the Toyota All New Veloz in Makassar City. The population in this study were all Toyota All New Veloz owners in Makassar City. The sampling technique was accidental random sampling, namely, taking a sample from every member of the target population in the field. The data in this study used primary data collected by distributing questionnaires to all respondents. The data analysis method used is descriptive statistical analysis, research instrument testing consisting of (validity test, reliability test) and testing of all hypotheses through partial tests, simultaneous tests, and tests of the coefficient of determination. The study results show that the marketing mix, which consists of product, price, promotion, and distribution, partially influences the purchasing decision of the Toyota All New Veloz Car in Makassar City. This shows that the better the product, the lower the price, the better the promotion, and the more and better the distribution can increase the interest and purchase decision of the Toyota All New Veloz Car in Makassar City. The product is the dominant factor influencing the decision to purchase the Toyota All New Veloz in Makassar City. This indicates that if the same amount increases the value of the product, price, promotion, and distribution, then the value of the consumer's purchasing decision is determined by the product.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of multiple role conflicts and work stress on the performance of female employees at PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk, Pettarani Branch, Makassar City. The population in this study was female employees at PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk Pettarani Branch, totaling 30 employees. The sampling technique is saturated sampling, where all population members are used as samples. This quantitative research uses primary data from the results of filling out questionnaires by respondents. The analytical method used is the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, t-test, and partial test. The results showed that both partially and simultaneously, the multiple role conflict and job stress variables negatively and significantly affected the performance of female employees at PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk, Pettarani Branch.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of brand image and service quality on purchasing decisions for wardah products (Case study on female students 2018-2020 Nobel Indonesian Institute of Technology and Business. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires and a population of 1,484 female students 2018-2020 Institute of Technology and Nobel Business Indonesia. At the same time, the determination of the sample used the slovin formula with the results of as many as 94 respondents who will be distributed questionnaires. Data is sourced from primary data and secondary data. Primary data from this study were obtained from questionnaires filled in by users of wardah cosmetics, including identity and responses according to the results of filling out the questionnaire. Secondary data, among others, are presented as data, documents, and tables regarding the topic. Secondary data used in this study is in the form of literature studies, journals, literature relating to problems, and information about image data brand d and service quality on purchasing decisions at wardah cosmetic stores. The results of the analysis show that the brand image variable has a significant and significant effect on purchasing decisions with a significant value of 0.007 <0.05, and service quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between social media marketing activities used by several airlines and the dimensions of social media marketing activities, namely entertainment, customization, interaction, trendiness, e-word of mouth on brand awareness, and brand image to seek influence on purchase intention. This study used Survey Research on all airline service passengers in several Indonesian airlines, which was distributed to 161 respondents using a purposive sampling technique. Data testing methods are instrument tests with validity and reliability tests using SmartPLS software 3. Data analysis methods use Structural Equation Model (SEM) using SmartPLS software 3. The results reveal social media marketing activities' positive and significant impact on brand awareness and image. It was found that the dimensions of social media marketing activities, namely entertainment, customization, interaction, trendiness, and e-word of mouth, significantly had a positive effect on brand awareness and brand image, and brand awareness had a positive impact on brand image, while brand awareness did not influence purchase intention and brand image has a significant effect on purchase intention. This research has several theoretical and practical implications that can benefit managers, especially airlines, in their marketing to use various activities on social media such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, and Tiktok.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of educational attainment, job satisfaction, and compensation on the performance of government private institutions in Mambi District Office, Mamasa District, West Sulawesi Province. It was to analyze the impact. Compensation for the performance of state private agencies in the Mambi district office. The analytical method used in this study is multiple regression analysis. Survey data were obtained from the State Civil Affairs Organization of the Mambi District Office of a total of 55 individuals. The research approach is causal and descriptive in character. The results of this study show that:1) Education level has been shown to have a significant positive impact on ASN performance. H. The higher the level of education, the higher the level of performance of ASNs in the Mambi district office. 2) Job satisfaction has been shown to have a significant positive impact on ASN performance. In other words, the more ASN is satisfied with the results of her work, the better her ASN will perform in the Mambi district office. 3) Rewards have been shown to have a positive and significant impact on ASN performance. That is, the better the compensation, the higher the level of performance, the higher the level of performance of his ASN in the Mambi district office, and the higher the level of 4). Education, job satisfaction, and compensation have all been shown to have a significant positive impact on ASN performance. That is, the higher the level of education, the higher the level of performance due to the results of one's work and the provision of appropriate rewards. Also, his ASN in Mambi District Office is high.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of promotion, work experience, and motivation on employee performance at the Kolaka Regency Regional Revenue Agency, Southeast Sulawesi, and became the object of this study. The research method uses a descriptive quantitative design and SPSS 22 multiple regression analysis. The population and research sample include all 58 employees, who were collected ex post facto. The results of the study show that all research variables, namely promotion, work experience, and motivation, have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of the Kolaka Regency Regional Revenue Agency, Southeast Sulawesi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of long service rewards, job satisfaction, and work environment on the performance of the employees of the Regional Inspectorate of Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province. In this study, the design used was a descriptive design that also examined the relationship between variables (causal design), which is useful to measure the relationship between research variables or to analyze the influence of a variable on other variables. In this study, data were collected ex post facto; in other words, the researcher relied on the respondents' perceptions to explain their experiences and then analyzed them according to a descriptive and causal design. The data collection technique in this study used the survey method, using a closed questionnaire as a tool. The sample for this research involved all employees—as many as 63 people. The results of the study show that long service awards, job satisfaction, and work environment will affect employee performance at the Regional Inspectorate, Kolaka Regency.
