Abstract

A healthy latrine coverage rate of 100% is the goal for the Krueng Sabee Health Center's access to proper sanitation program of the 11 villages in the Krueng Sabee Health Center's service area, 4 villages (36.36%) have access to healthy latrines, while 7 villages (63.64%) do not. The latrine ownership rate at the center is 36.36%, but this figure is still short of the target. Sampling approach used in combination study (mixed methodologies research) 95 samples were randomly selected using quantitative techniques, while 9 informants were chosen using qualitative techniques. Logistic regression tests were used to examine quantitative data on a univariate, bivariate, and multivariate basis. data that has been transformed into a qualitative form for presentation and conclusion-making. Quantitative research results: Logistic regression test results: education level OR= 3,452, income level OR= 80,695, knowledge OR= 4,717, attitude OR= 43,982 and social culture OR= 0.647, income level is the dominant independent variable that influences family latrine ownership with the OR value = 80,695. The results of the qualitative analysis show that the majority of families do not have toilets, due to low income levels. Conclusion: level of education, attitudes, social culture towards ownership. Interview results play an active role in providing information, counseling and explaining the importance of family latrine ownership. Village officials who facilitate support for latrine ownership allocate data on assistance for latrine construction in limited quantities. It is recommended that the Health Service evaluate and integrate related programs in increasing latrine coverage in its working areas.

Abstract

Antenatal care examinations based on integrated antenatal care services are 6 visits during pregnancy. Early detection in pregnancy determines the presence of anemia in pregnancy which can cause bleeding during delivery, signs of complications from early delivery such as pelvic deformities, multiple pregnancies and complications during pregnancy such as pre-eclampsia, chronic diseases such as heart and lung disease and genetic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension. , or congenital defects and also infectious diseases such as HIV and hepatitis. The method in this research is a Mixed Method using a Cross Sectional approach. The population in this study was 288 pregnant women and a sample of 74 pregnant women in the working area of ??the Patumbak Health Center, Deli Serdang Regency. The analysis used includes univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis with multiple logistic regression. The results of this study indicate that there are factors that influence maternal antenatal care examinations, namely knowledge (p=0.042), attitude (p=0.017), occupation (p=0.725), age (p=0.0257), parity (p=0.196 ), source of information (p=0.278), husband's support (p=0.031), and service accessibility (p=0.001). The conclusion in this study is that there is an influence between maternal knowledge, attitudes, husband's support, and service accessibility with antenatal care examinations. Meanwhile, occupation, age, parity and source of information had no influence on antenatal care examinations.

Abstract

Antenatal care, or ANC, is the term for care connected to pregnancy for both the mother and the fetus. At present, there are around 305 maternal deaths for every 100,000 live births; most of these deaths occur in hospitals. Among other causes, 77% of women pass away there as a result of referrals. This study examines how expectant mothers complete prenatal care visits in 2023 in the Meukek District of the South Aceh Regency's Drien Jalo Health Center's UPTD Working Area. This type of study uses a combination of methodologies. The population of this study consisted of 112 respondents, of whom 53 were randomly chosen based on qualitative information obtained from 9 informants, using the Slovin algorithm. The variable results are included in the multivariate test because the P value is ? 0.25. Multivariate analysis results show significant values ??and Exp(B) variables are, Knowledge (0.015) Exp(B) (3.572), Education (0.001) Exp(B) (0.007), Attitude (0.018) Exp(B) (1.398), Parity (0.009) Exp(B) (1.786), Income (0.000) Exp(B) (0.008), Distance (0.001) Exp(B) (1.904), Maternal Health (0.005) Exp(B) (1.556), Support Health Officer (0.001) Exp(B) (2.387). From the results of in-depth interviews, it was found that there was an influence on the completeness of ANC visits on the factors of knowledge, education, attitude, parity, income, distance, maternal health and support from health workers. The study's findings indicate that the completion of antenatal care visits is influenced by a number of factors, including maternal health, parity, money, distance, knowledge, education, attitude, and assistance from healthcare professionals. With an Exp(B) value of 3.572, the knowledge factor is the most important factor influencing ANC tests in expectant mothers.

Abstract

Breast cancer is a malignant disease that most commonly attacks women. One pharmacological therapy for breast cancer is chemotherapy, but this treatment can cause anxiety due to the side effects it causes. Non-pharmacological treatment is really needed, one of which is Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) which can reduce anxiety. The aim of the research was to determine the effectiveness of Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) on anxiety in breast cancer patients. Sampling used purposive sampling technique. The total sample was 30 respondents (15 respondents were given PMR therapy) and (15 respondents were given deep breathing). Anxiety measurement uses the State Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) questionnaire. The test used to correlate PMR with disease duration is the Pearson test. Differences in cancer stage and mean anxiety score independent t-test. One-way anova test chemotherapy cycle. Meanwhile, the difference between pre and post PMR and control used the paired t-test. The results of the study showed no significant values for the duration of suffering from total anxiety p = 0.476, state anxiety p = 0.424, trait anxiety p = 0.464. At stage 3 it showed significant values for total anxiety p = 0.004, state anxiety p = 0.003, trait anxiety p = 0.018, at stage 4 total anxiety p = 0.009, state anxiety p = 0.009, trait anxiety p = 0.020. The chemotherapy cycle was not significant for total anxiety p = 0.084, and state anxiety p = 0.177, while trait anxiety showed a significant value of p = 0.026. Pre and post PMR showed significant values for total anxiety, state anxiety, and trait anxiety p = 0.001. The PMR and control groups showed significant values for PMR total anxiety, state anxiety, and trait anxiety p = 0.001 and the control was significant for total anxiety p = 0.028 and state anxiety p = 0.026, while trait anxiety was not significant p = 0.100. The mean anxiety scores (mean difference) of PMR and controls showed significant values for total anxiety p = 0.042, state anxiety p = 0.027 and trait anxiety p = 0.033. Conclusion Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) exercise therapy is effective in reducing anxiety in breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.
