Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic caused a sharp decline in state revenue in the tourism sector in 2020, even though a year earlier tourism reached its peak as Indonesia’s largest foreign exchange earning sector with a value of USD 20 billion or the equivalent of Rp. 280 trillion. However, this condition slowly began to change as cases of COVID-19 began to decline. The Pangalengan 360˚ Sky Park Natural Tourism is one of the tourist attractions in Bandung Regency which began to grow in December 2020. Against the background of previously abandoned land, it is important to know how the management of nature tourism can provide income for the community and the amount of economic value for tourism. The purpose of this study was to determine tourist perceptions, tourism management income, and calculate the economic value of nature tourism. The research was conducted using the Travel Cost Method. This approach calculates the amount of travel costs incurred by tourists in order to enjoy The Pangalengan 360˚ Sky Park Natural Tourism. The conclusion of the study shows that The Pangalengan 360˚ Sky Park Natural Tourism gets very good perceptions from tourists; the gross income of the manager of the Pangalengan 360˚ Sky Park is Rp. 4,632,025,200/year; as well as the economic value of Pangalengan 360˚ Sky Park is Rp. 46,358,040,000/year.

Abstract

This research is to identify the composition and the structure of herbs vegetation, as well as the relation between environmental factor and the vegetation structure on Backwood in Malempo, Resort Mallawa of Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park, District of Maros. It is located in three wind directions are South, North and West. This setting of the transect is alternatingly made at each of wind direction by five times. In every transect with the measurement of 20m x 2m there are 10 plots for herbs each plot is 2m x 2m and alternatingly placed. The collecting of vegetation data is made in the plot by counting the individual quantity of every species of herbs the determine the extent of the canopy. Herbaceous species found in Malempo Resort Mallawa TN. Babul, as many as 18 families and 43 species. The composition and structure of herbaceous species has a negative relationship with the height and percentage of land that is not overgrown with vegetation, while it is positively related to soil temperature.

Abstract

Urban forests function effectively as climate controllers, including functioning as lowering temperature, absorbing solar radiation, and breaking wind flow. The selection of potential tree species with regional typologies and their designation for urban forest development is an effort to reduce these negative impacts. The purpose of this study was to identify the diversity of tree species in the urban forest of Polewali Mandar Regency Square. This research was conducted in March-May 2023 in the town square area of Polewali Mandar Regency. The research method is the census method, namely by recording all types and number of trees that grow above the ground. There were 8 plots with the size of each plot of 20 m x 20 m. Abstract

This research aims to calculate the potential for biomass and aboveground carbon in mangrove vegetation in the Rewata'a mangrove ecosystem area, Majene Regency. Data collection was carried out by taking samples from 20 plots measuring 20x20 meters. Data analysis uses allometric equations for biomass estimation and an approach with 0.47 biomass as carbon in mangrove trees (BSN, 2011). The analysis results show that the potential for biomass and carbon stored above ground in mangrove vegetation in the Rewata'a mangrove area respectively is 173.75 tonnes/ha and 81.66 tonnesC/ha. Key words: biomass, carbon stock, mangrove, climate change, vegetation

Abstract

Mangroves are a community or individual plant species forming a tidal area community. One of the stretches of the mangrove ecosystem in West Tapalang District is in Tanjung Ngalo, Dungkait Village. Tanjung Ngalo is one of the tourist attractions in West Tapalang District, Mamuju Regency. However, its location is quite remote with minimal access, which is a challenge for the future development of this area. This research aims to identify and calculate the potential value of mangrove natural tourism offerings in Tanjung Ngalo. Data collection methods were carried out through observation, interviews and literature review. Data analysis used a scoring technique based on the Guidelines for Analysis of Operational Areas of Natural Tourist Attraction Objects (ADO-ODTWA) of the Directorate General of Forest Protection and Nature Conservation Year 2003. The results show that the potential value of the mangrove natural tourism offerings in Tanjung Ngalo is 2,360, included in the medium classification. The accommodation aspect has the lowest potential value (90) so it needs attention for future improvement and development. Keywords: Tanjung Ngalo, mangrove, nature tourism, ADO-ODTWA, supply
