Abstract

The truss structure of the bridge is formed from several arrangement of rod elements which are connected by joint joints at the point of connection. The actual conditions in the field on the main frame structure of the Way Mamua bridge, Leihitu District, Central Maluku Regency, have dimensions of the steel cross-section that are quite large and not optimal, so that in this present study aims to analyze the rod forces of the Way Mamua Bridge structure and optimize the cross-sectional dimensions of the Way Mamua Bridge trunk frame. The methods used in this study are the ritter and cremona methods, as well as cross-sectional optimization simulations using the help of the SAP2000 program. Loading Standards for Bridges based on SNI 1725:2016 and Steel Structure Planning Standards for Bridges are used by SK regulations. SNI T-03-2005. Based on the results analysis of the rod forces of the Way Mamua Bridge structure, a minimum bar force was obtained for the upper horizontal bar, the lower horizontal bar and the diagonal bar totaling 2 bars. The maximum bar force for the upper horizontal bar is 1 bar, while the lower horizontal bar and diagonal bar are 2 bars with accepted forces namely compressive and tensile forces. The optimization results obtained an increase in the percentage of cross-sectional dimensions to the cross-sectional area for the upper horizontal bar by 2%, the lower horizontal bar and diagonal bar experienced a percentage reduction of 64% and 54% of the cross-sectional dimensions under actual conditions in the field. From the optimization results, the voltage ratio is not > 1 so that it can be concluded that the bridge bar truss structure is still in safe condition.

Abstract

Retaining walls serve the purpose of withstanding lateral pressure from the soil behind them. This construction can be considered as an alternative for addressing potential landslides along the embankment of Hutumuri village road. The aim of this research is to plan a retaining wall as one of the reinforcement alternatives for the embankment along the section of Hutumuri road from Station (STA) 1+200 to 1+270. The planning of the retaining wall along this road section begins with a soil stability analysis using the simple slice method. Subsequently, employing the Terzaghi method, the stability of the wall against soil pressure behind it is analyzed to prevent displacement and potential collapse during the construction of the retaining wall. Utilizing the Simple Slice method and Rankine's theory to assess the slope conditions and the construction of the retaining wall along Hutumuri road section, values for the slope safety factor are obtained. In the unsafe condition, the slope safety factor is less than 1.2, indicating the need for an alternative slope reinforcement, such as a retaining wall. The analysis results for the stability of the Counterfort-type retaining wall indicate that it does not meet the requirements. This is due to the fact that, in section I, the soil bearing capacity safety factor (FS) is 2.454, where the value of FS is less than the recommended value of 3, signaling the need for further consideration and potential adjustments in the design.

Abstract

As a developing country, Indonesia cannot be separated from development and development in all fields, one of which is the construction and development of the construction business sector. The success of a project is largely determined by the good cooperation between the owner and the service provider. If the technical implementation is not good, it will have a bad impact on project performance, one of which is rework. The word rework in the Big Indonesian Dictionary is translated as rework or rework. Rework on construction projects is caused by errors in planning, wrong work procedures, and lack of supervision and can result in several losses, such as cost, time, and quality of work. This research was conducted by interviewing and distributing questionnaires to the construction project of Hotel Zest Ambon as many as 30 respondents. Respondents selected were implementers, supervisors, foremen, and workers. The questionnaires distributed were related to the factors causing the rework on the Zest Ambon Hotel construction project, which is located on Jl. Imam Bonjol, Kel Ahusen, Sirimau, Ambon City. Then the research results were processed using SPSS 26, using 4 methods of analysis, namely validity test, reliability test, descriptive analysis, and factor analysis to get the factors causing the rework and the dominant factors causing the rework. The results of the research show that there are three factors that cause rework, namely design and documentation factors with a mean value of 4.53, resource factors with a mean value of 4.37, and managerial factors with a mean value of 3.80. And the dominant factor is the design and documentation factor with Eigenvalues > 1, which is 1.50.

Abstract

This condition causes the asphalt mixture to be unable to be overlaid on the road work site because the temperature of the mixture is below the overlay and compaction temperature. According to the provisions of the asphalt mixture that has experienced a decrease in temperature can no loger be used. But the reality that happens a lot in the field is that sanding is still done and followed by the next stage, namely compaction. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on the effect of heating on the concrete asphalt layer mixture, namely hot rolled sheet-Base (HRS-Base). The method used, the effect of AC-WC asphalt mixture temperature on the specific gravity of road work is . From yhe results of the marshall analysis, the value of marshall parameters that meet the requirements is in the range of asphalt content 4.50-5.80 so that the optimum asphalt content is obtained at the middle value of the limit range above is 5.12%. Comparison of asphalt temperature to field temperature and lab asphalt temperature. The asphalt temperature in the lab is 5.5% asphalt content and the asphalt temperature used in the lab is 160°C, 150°C, 140°C, 130°C, while the asphalt content used in the field is 5.0% asphalt content and the asphalt temperature used in the field is 125°C, 135°C, 140°C, 145°C. Further research needs to be carried out in the form of marshall soaking tests with the intention of measuring the durability of the binding/adhesion of asphalt mixtures to the influence of temperature.
