Abstract

The Buria-Riring Road section is located in Taniwel District, West Seram Regency, Maluku Province. This road section was built in 2019. However, in the middle of 2021 this road experienced damage. The topographic condition of the road section is in the mountains with many hills and slopes, plus the high level of rainfall means that rainwater that falls directly floods the road body and damages the pavement structure. With this condition, people no longer feel comfortable accessing this road. The purpose of this study is to determine the type of damage that occurs and what factors cause the damage, as well as find solutions to overcome the damage that occurs in the form of planning pavement thickness and planning drainage channel dimensions. The method used for planning the thickness of the flexible pavement is the 2017 Pavement Design Manual and calculating the dimensions of the drainage channels. From the results of the analysis, the type of damage that occurs is the release of grains (Raveling) and the causative factors are not built drainage channels and the carrying capacity of subgrade soils that are less stable. From the calculation results, it is obtained that the thickness of the stabilized subgrade is 175 mm, the aggregate base layer for class B is 100 mm, the base layer for class A aggregate is 200 mm, the burda with an aggregate size of at least 20 mm. And from the results of the calculation of the dimensions of the drainage channel, it is obtained that the width of the base of the channel is 55 cm, the width of the top of the channel is 90 cm and the depth of the channel is 75 cm.

Abstract

Concrete is a composite material consisting of elements of coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, cement and water which act chemically (hydraulic), which then binds the grains of aggregate together to form a unified concrete (monolith). This study discusses the effect of variations in water temperature of 100C, 200C, and 300C in the concrete mixture on the compressive strength of structural concrete. It is necessary to monitor the temperature of the water in the concrete mixture to reduce excess heat due to the hydration reaction. The water temperature is set according to the design temperature, namely 100C, 200C and 300C to determine the effect on the compressive strength and workability values. Concrete compressive strength testing was carried out at the age of 3, 7 and 14 days. The number of specimens required is 27 cylindrical samples with a diameter of 15 cm and a height of 30 cm. The results of the slump test at water temperatures of 100C, 200C and 300C the lower the water temperature, the lower the slump value. And for testing At the age of 3.7 and 14 days concrete with a temperature of 100C produces Compressive Strength of 10.76 MPa, 12.17 MPa and 13.87 MPa, respectively, a temperature of 200C produces 12.55 MPa, 14.06 MPa and 16.42 Mpa, while the temperature of 300C produces 14.32 Mpa, 16.04 Mpa and 18.12 Mpa. The results of the compressive strength of concrete aged 28 days were converted from the results of the compressive strength test of concrete aged 7 days from the conversion results obtained that the temperature of 100C produced 17.38 Mpa, 200C produced 20.08 Mpa, 300C produced 22.91 Mpa. It can be concluded that normal temperature is more efficient in terms of compressive strength.

Abstract

A project is a unique activity with a set goal with limited time to be able to reach a specified target. Within the arrangement of a construction project, cost estimates play a significant role. The greater the value of a construction project causes the need for resources to manage the work. Therefore, it requires careful, carefully structured cost planning according to the method of analysis used. The SNI method was a renewal from the 1921 BOW analysis (Burgeslijke Openbare Werken) issued by the residential research and development center. The AHSP method (Job Unit Price Analysis) isa guide for analysis issued by the ministry of public work and citizen housing (PUPR). The aim of thi s study is to get results from economical cost-spending estimates between methods. According to estimates of the cost budget using the AHSP 2016 method, Rp 2,891,000,000 and according to estimates of the cost budget using the SNI 2018 method, Rp 2.615.500.000 by profit from AHSP 2016 and SNI 2018, Rp 275,500,000. And a 9.53% percentage presentation.

Abstract

The growth of campus population made an imbalance between the number of vehicles and the availability of parking spaces. This study aims to analyze the need for parking space for the next 5 years and examine the existing number of parking lots at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Pattimura Ambon. The problem of the need for parking space is important because the growth of students and employees in the Faculty of Engineering greatly influences motorized vehicles and cars, but the increase in vehicle users is not matched by efficient parking lots/facilities. Therefore it is necessary to research the problem by using an analysis of parking space requirements and parking space unit. The research method used is field surveys, interviews, and academic data to collect data on the growth in the number of students, lecturers, and staff. The results of the study show that in the next 5 years, there is a projected significant increase in the number of vehicles in the Faculty of Engineering. The estimated growth in these vehicles will lead to an increase in the need for parking spaces in 2028 of 220 for motorcycles and 23 for cars, from the current number of existing parking lots. Based on the results of the analysis, it is suggested that the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Pattimura Ambon take appropriate planning and policy development actions to deal with the problem of parking space requirements in the future.

Abstract

Project development nowadays is increasing, but on the other hand, the need for available quality resources is limited. The resources in question are human resources, materials and equipment. One very important factor is labor. If the workforce used is less skilled or not optimal in their work, then the results of the work will be poor. The quality obtained is not good and the productivity is low. The IAIN Ambon Laboratory Rehabilitation and Renovation Project really requires a careful calculation of the productivity of the workforce, so that an appropriate work system and the number of workers needed can be determined so that it can produce products that meet expectations. The analytical method used is the work sampling method where the percentage is obtained from adding effective work to ¼ essential contributory work, then dividing the sum by the total observations. The research results obtained LUR values based on time divided into 2 (two) parts, namely the morning session from 08.00-12.00 and then the afternoon session from 14.00-17.00. The following results were obtained: A). The cleaning work was obtained: (Morning Time) Value Labor Utilization Rate (LUR) (85.21%) effective (82%), essential contributory (11%) and ineffective (7%). Abstract

Construction projects are a series of activities related to the process of developing infrastructure within a predetermined time frame by estimating the time required to complete the project. Delays in project planning can occur due to various factors. This also happened in the construction of the Integrated Laboratory and Library Building Project at MAN 1 Central Maluku, which experienced delays caused by several factors, including delays in the project due to factors such as labor, materials, design, situation, equipment, finance, site characteristics, and external factors. However, the factors that significantly and dominantly influence the delays are not yet known. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to identify the significant and dominant factors causing project delays. The analytical method used is regression analysis, which includes T-tests and F-tests. Based on the research results, the significant factors influencing project delays are the lack of availability of labor (labor factor), delay in the delivery of materials (material factor), equipment productivity (equipment factor), and financial difficulties of the contractor (financial factor). The most dominant factor influencing project delays is the labor factor, with a beta value of 1.198, indicating a lack of labor availability.
