<![CDATA[Background The postpartum period is an important period in determining the health status of the mother and baby. One of the factors causing maternal death occurs after delivery or within the first 24 hours of the puerperium. The period of the Covid 19 pandemic that has not ended has had various impacts on health problems, especially obstetrics. Local Area Monitoring of Maternal and Child Health in various indicators, especially postpartum visits, has experienced a downward trend and several regions have not met the target achievement. This can be caused by a lack of information from mothers in carrying out examinations during the pandemic. The purpose of this service is to increase the knowledge of postpartum mothers about the danger signs of childbirth and newborns. The method used in this service is counseling with the lecture and discussion method. The media used was the Googlemeet video teleconference. Participants in the activity were postpartum mothers who were in RW 3 in the working area of the Central Siantan Health Center. This community service was carried out on October 2nd, 2020. The results was the activity showed that there was an increase in knowledge and postpartum mothers regarding the danger signs of childbirth and newborns, even though there were several obstacles to doing counseling through the googlemeet media, namely not all postpartum mothers had smartphones and networks that were not smooth due to weather disturbances.]]>

<![CDATA[The Puskesmas of Siantan Tengah sub-district in Pontianak City is part of the organizational structure of the Pontianak City Health Office, which carries out health services for the community. Maternal and child health is of particular concern at Central Siantan Public Health Center, including health information services. However, at the time of the Covid-19 pandemic there was a decline in services due to people's fear of visiting the puskesmas. To solve this problem, various efforts have been made to improve maternal and child health services at the Central Siantan Public Health Center. The advancement of web-based information and communication technology is currently the focus of development. In this case the website can be a means of delivering information to the public. The information presented is in the form of maternal and child health services. With the presence of smartphones in the world today, website-based applications can be accessed via smartphones. With this community service, a website for maternal and child health services is produced which is expected to help improve maternal and child health services. The website can be accessed online, especially pregnant mother can access information related to maternal and child health at home. The conclusion from the results of this community service is that a website for maternal and child health services in the community of Central Siantan sub-district is produced which can help Puskesmas deliver information related to maternal and child health.]]>

<![CDATA[Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is a new strain of virus from the coronavirus that can cause mild, severe respiratory disorders, and even death. The disease is called Coronavirus Disease (20) 19 or COVID-19. The virus is transmitted via droplets spread by coughing or sneezing on an infected person. A clean and healthy lifestyle, and trying to protect ourselves by doing healthy hand washing is one of the ways to prevent the spread of this more massive virus. The community is at the forefront of preventing the spread of COVID-19. The role of public knowledge is very important to prevent the spread of COVID 19 to the family level. This activity aims to provide education to the public on the importance of healthy hand washing to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The target of this activity is the people in Pontianak City. <![CDATA[Background: Medical Laboratory Technologist (ATLM) is one of the important types of health workers in Indonesia. However, it is less popular than other health professions such as doctor, nurse, and midwife. This low image causes student interest in pursuing education in the Medical Laboratory Technology study program to be relatively low. The webinar about ATLM’s profession for students is expected to improve the image of the TLM study program. Purpose: This community service aims to improve the image of the medical laboratory technology study program through profession webinars. Result: The results of this dedication show that profession webinars are quite popular for the public with up to 120 webinar participants, but this webinar cannot directly improve the image of the TLM study program, which is marked by the low number of students who become students in the TLM department at Politeknik Aisyiyah Pontianak (35%). Conclusion: Webinars are a promotional medium that is in great demand, but it has not been able to improve the image of the medical laboratory technology study program. Continuous efforts are needed to be able to improve the image of a study program or profession.]]>

<![CDATA[Background Online learning is the implementing learning and teaching process that is carried out without face to face directly or by means of applications via the internet. Moodle is one of the learning applications that can be included. Purpose : This study is aimed to analyze the effect of online education on educators, namely teachers and lecturers, regarding the use of Moodle as a resource for distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Methods: Moodle educational activities were conducted online for 2 days by inviting all educators from Sabang to Merauke. At the end of the activity, participants were evaluated by asking to fill in quiz questions to determine their level of understanding about Moodle. Results Participants who took part in the Moodle training activity were 763 people, consisting of teachers and lecturers with an educational background of S1, S2 and S3. The results of the evaluation are as many as 85% of subjects get a score of> 50. Conclusion Moodle can be a recommendation application to support innovative distance learning.]]>

<![CDATA[Background Newborns need good care and attention due to changes in adaptation from intrauterine to extrauterine so that they are still susceptible to exposure to infections caused by viruses and germs during the delivery process and some time after birth. One of the viruses that can infect pregnant women and newborns is Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). COVID-19 has been declared a world pandemic by WHO. WHO provides a definition of health which is perfect both physically, mentally and socially. So that at this time the care of the newborn should be done properly. Some of the mistakes that occur in baby care may be due to the lack of knowledge and education of the parents. The purpose of this community service activity is to improve increasing knowledge about health education the health of newborns during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method of implementing activities is to provide counseling on newborn health education and to conduct knowledge assessments before and after counseling is given. Results, the level of knowledge of mothers before counseling, were that most of them had good knowledge (23.8%), the level of knowledge of mothers after counseling was 76.2%, which were in a good category. Conclusion There is increasing knowledge about health education for newborns during the Covid-19 pandemic.]]>

<![CDATA[Background Health screening is the initial action taken by health workers for patients who come to the hospital or independently. This action will determine the next steps that can be seen in the screening assessment results, whether to be immediately referred to a special Covid-19 referral hospital, need to undergo initial tests, or can be examined in general according to complaints. Indonesia is the country with the most Covid19 cases in Southeast Asia. Where the high spread of the Covid19 virus is caused by the SARS-CoV-2 transmission process from patients that occurs through droplets that come out when coughing or sneezing. The purpose of this service is to detect early symptoms of Covid19 that are felt by the public based on current body temperature conditions, complaints that are felt, and travel history both out of town and abroad. The method used in this community service is to carry out health screening to detect early symptoms of Covid19. The media used is the website of the Pontianak Aisyiyah Polytechnic campus (Polita). The participants of the activity were all Pontianak people and its surroundings. This community service was carried out on March 21, 2020 to April 4, 2020. The results of the activity showed that the community was helped by the covid screening19. The public is also educated about the main symptoms of Covid19. Conclusion Health screening using the Polita website media is the right solution because it can be accessed publicly anywhere and anytime.]]>

<![CDATA[Social media has an important role for various types of information reported. Millennials are increasingly using social media today. One form of news on social media besides pictures is video. Video, which is a multimedia branch, is the main dish. In the context of entertainment, the ability to produce good videos is very necessary. So that it gave birth to a new profession among the millennials to generation Z, namely content creators. In this profession, the main ability that must be possessed is video editing skills. Without video editing, the video that is made looks stiff and unattractive. Moreover, videos that will be posted on social media must attract viewers' interest. To support video editing skills, community service is held on the basics of video editing for content creation on mobile-based social media. This service in the form of a workshop aims to provide basic skills for participants to do video editing using a mobile platform in West Kalimantan in particular. The evaluation of this activity received a good response with a score of 62.8% for the clarity of the material, 54.3% for the suitability of the material and 58.1% for the quality of material delivery. So that the average satisfaction of activity results is 57.1%.]]>

<![CDATA[Background: Pregnancy is a decisive period for the quality of growth and development of children who are born, during pregnancy greatly determines the condition of the fetus in the womb. Nutritional needs during pregnancy have an important role in the condition of the mother and fetus. Pregnant women who have poor nutrition will experience Chronic Energy Deficiency (KEK) and cause risks and complications of pregnancy. The risk of pregnancy that occurs in pregnant women with KEK can cause fatal health problems such as congenital defects and will trigger preterm birth and IUGR. The purpose of this service is to increase knowledge about pregnant women's nutrition. The method uses discussion and demonstration. The participants of this activity were pregnant women in Tengguli Village, Sajat District, Sambas Regency. The results showed that there was an improving knowledge for pregnant women and could make menus related to balanced nutrition during pregnancy.]]>

<![CDATA[Tuberculosis is a direct infectious disease caused by Tuberculosis bacteria (Microbacterium Tuberculosis). The response to the Covid-19 pandemic requires adjustments to other health program services, including TB services that are run at health care facilities. Indonesia is the country with the most Covid-19 cases in Southeast Asia. Where people with Covid-19 and TB can show the same symptoms as cough, fever, and difficulty breathing. Both of these diseases attack mainly the lungs and both biological agents are transmitted through close contact or physical contact. Objective: to determine the relationship between science and tuberculosis prevention during the Covid-19 pandemic in the community. Methods: questionnaires on data collection techniques in quantitative research as community service and the role of health webinar participants in science and prevention of tuberculosis during the Covid-19 pandemic in the community. The media used is the website of the Pontianak Aisyiyah Polytechnic campus (Polita). This community service was carried out on February 4, 2021. Results: The number of participants who registered for the webinar was 1,498 people, where participants in the science category were in the very good category on tuberculosis and prevention 98.7% - 79.6%, good category on transmission with family and environment 65.2%-59.2%, and the lowest method of TB examination is 40.9%. Conclusion: This study involved webinar participants in knowledge and prevention of TB, the highest was 98.7% and the lowest was the method of TB examination, 40.9%, which was carried out in the laboratory. This National Health Webinar is a solution in handling knowledge and preventing Tuberculosis during the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesian society.]]>
