Abstract

The research conducted aims to analyze the management of organic trash for tourism accommodation carried out by the Maimaggot organic farm. The organic trash generated by the restaurant kitchen of the Four Seasson Sayan and Alam Group Ubud hotels is managed by the Maimaggot organic farm so that it becomes a product that has economic value. Products that can be produced from organic trash that have been properly managed include maggot as an alternative feed for chickens, ducks, birds and fish and managed to become compost products. According to information from the manager of the Maimaggot organic farm , efforts to deal with organic trash need collaboration with various parties, especially in the early stages of sorting trash from its source so as to produce good quality maggot feed. The results of this study are expected that tourism accommodation managers understand the importance of managing organic trash properly so that it will not pollute the hotel environment

Abstract

Tourism was one of the main sectors long before the technological era 4.0. The current tourism model we find is quite varied with alternative tourism concepts such as religious and spiritual tourism, health tourism, educational tourism, cultural tourism, water tourism, tourism villages. In the past, before technology, as it is now, we can find tourism information through news, conventional information models that require an intermediary before we can enjoy the selected tour. Recent tourism issues related to the reduced role of humans in the provision of tourism services are caused by the very rapid development of information technology at present but not too significant in terms of the implications that occur. Currently, the role of social media information technology has replaced the role of verbal tourism management. But also the physical touch of the human role is still needed with the hospitality offered in this hospitality tourism industry. Abstract

Bali is one of the barometers of international tourism destinations in Indonesia and every year it always brings in quite a large number of tourists, both domestic and foreign tourists, having a small island in West Buleleng called Menjangan Island. The island, which is still within the West Bali National Park area, looks like it hasn't developed optimally. So it is necessary to do a re-assessment using the elaboration of several aspects of sustainable tourism that are in accordance with the development of Menjangan Island itself, such as from economic, sociocultural and ecological aspects

Abstract

Penglipuran Traditional Village, is one of the Cultural Tourism Objects, located in Bangli Regency. Penglipuran Village has been a Tourism Village since 1993. Since then this village has been listed as one of the Tourism Villages in Bali by offering a beautiful scenery. Penglipuran Village as a tourist village, the local community directly and indirectly gets economic benefits, However, in its development, the Penglipuran Village community showed a proactive attitude to support the program launched by the government to make Penglipuran Village a Tourism Village.The government needs to revise the distribution of proceeds from the sale of entrance tickets given by the Penglipuran Traditional Village, because the distribution that is currently being received by the Villagers feels that there is injustice, so as not to cause problems in the future, this is urgent to consider and negotiate with the Penglipuran Traditional Villagers

Abstract

Tourism that highlights the aspects of wellness/health and cultural heritage that are noble. In Yehtengah Traditional Village, Kelusa Village, Payangan District, Gianyar Regency, Bali Province, there is a tourist attraction in the form of Pancoran Solas at the Mengening Temple. This place has a very strong mystical aura that attracts spiritual aspirants to visit this place and also attracts yoga aspirants. In this study the method used is a qualitative method. Sugiyono (2020: 9) argues that the qualitative research method is a research method based on positivism or enterpretive philosophy, used to examine the condition of natural objects, where the researcher is the key instrument, data collection techniques are carried out by triangulation. The results of the review show that Pancoran Solas at the Mengening Temple in Yehtengah Traditional Village, Kelusa Village, Payangan District, Gianyar Regency, with all its spiritual activities, is very suitable to be developed as a spiritual and wellness tourism object in Bali. Supported by a very strong mystical/supernatural aura in the Mengening Temple area of Yehtengah Traditional Village

Abstract

The open-air Ardha Candra building has become a special place for the people of Yogyakarta and has also contributed valuable cultural heritage to Indonesia. The specific research objectives will depend on the discipline and the need for deeper research. MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention, Exhibition) has become an integrated and efficient concept in organizing various types of events. The use of the Ardha Candra open stage in MICE events offers several advantages. First, this open location provides a unique experience for event participants with a refreshing natural atmosphere and beautiful scenery. Second, the open stage provides flexibility in space arrangement and event layout, allowing adjustments according to different event needs. Furthermore, the use of advanced technology in managing sound, lighting, and the layout of the Ardha Candra open stage can enhance the efficiency and quality of MICE events. High-quality sound systems and creative lighting create an impressive atmosphere, while flexible stage layouts allow for optimal use of space. In this article, we will also discuss several case studies of MICE events held on the Ardha Candra open stage. Research results show that the use of this open stage has successfully increased participant participation, improved brand image, and created unforgettable experiences.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has led to social restrictions and the spread of the virus, affecting in-person gatherings and resulting in changes in the world of the tourism industry, particularly in the MICE sector, which has shifted to virtual events. The MICE industry itself encompasses organizers and suppliers who manage and deliver all aspects of an event. Professional MICE events comprise several aspects of large-scale gatherings, such as travel agencies, creative design services, catering, marketing, and logistics. MICE is a business activity that can provide benefits, especially in the tourism sector. In this study, MICE activities are analyzed from the perspective of virtual events using a literature review research method, which is a qualitative research approach that gathers data from various sources. The results of this research have revealed a new innovation in the form of virtual MICE activities, which have received both positive and negative responses from the public due to considerations of the positive and negative impacts of virtual MICE activities on society.

Abstract

Badung Regency is one of the regions in Bali with abundant tourist attractions. It is also the area where the Local Original Revenue (PAD) is predominantly generated from the tourism sector. This is because Badung has a wide variety of attractions that are popular among tourists, making tourists willing to spend their money in the Badung Regency area. One of the tourist villages, Pangsan, offers attractive natural attractions such as rafting, cycling, and trekking, with the potential for development that can be packaged into attractive tourism packages. This research was conducted through observations and literature studies using various documents. The results of the research show that the knowledge about rural areas in formal learning processes is not as comprehensive as the real conditions in the field. Utilizing the tourism potential and providing education through activities such as planting ornamental plants, fruits, and vegetables is an effective means of educating and providing experiences for both domestic and international tourists.

Abstract

Diverse educational tourism has transformed the concept of tourism itself. The primary goal of educational tourism is to acquire knowledge and experience about specific subjects or research. Kemenuh Butterfly Park is one concept of educational tourism that emphasizes conservation and education in the Gianyar, Bali region. This research aims to discuss the educational tourism model at Kemenuh Butterfly Park. Using a qualitative descriptive model, the study seeks to understand the general overview of educational tourism applied and offered in the concept of sustainable tourism. Literature review is conducted to support this research. The results of the research indicate that the educational concept has a limitation concerning its targeted tourist segment. Additionally, educational tourism concepts are still rarely included in existing tour packages. In the alternative tourism model, it is hoped that educational tourism will not be just a temporary trend but can evolve into sustainable tourism

Abstract

Yeh Aya Hulu Dam has the potential to be developed into a natural tourist attraction in Senganan Village. The potential is inadequate, the village that still does not pay attention to this potential causes the Yeh Aya Hulu Dam to be not managed properly and the overall potential has not been explored. This study aims to determine the management of Yeh Aya Hulu's potential as a community-based natural tourism attraction. This research uses qualitative descriptive analysis methods, using Tourism Attraction theory 6A, Tourism Management theory and Tourism Impact theory. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, literature studies, and documentation. The data obtained is then analyzed using three data analysis models, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method, using the theory of Tourist Attraction 6A, Tourism Management, and Tourism Impact. Data collection techniques were collected through observation, interviews, literature studies, and documentation. The data obtained were then analyzed using three data analysis models: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the potential of Bendungan Yeh Aya Hulu as a natural tourist attraction with the 6A theory is that attractions consist of natural, artificial, and cultural tourist attractions with good access and are easy to reach by tourists. Facilities include a parking area for two-wheeled vehicles while for four-wheeled vehicles, parking on the side of the road, toilets and changing rooms that still need to be put up to standard, and stalls. Tourists can enjoy views of the rice fields, swim, play tube tubing, and buy food. Additional services that still need to be available and tour packages will be planned in the future. The management of Bendungan Yeh Aya Hulu as a natural tourist attraction holds the concept of CBT (Community-Based Tourism) which applies the functions of tourism management, including planning, organizing, actuating, monitoring, and motivation. The impact of managing Bendungan Yeh Aya Hulu as a natural tourist attraction on the community is divided into environmental, socio-cultural, and economic impacts.
