Abstract

The rapid growth of the digital marketing industry requires organizations to strengthen employee performance through effective leadership and organizational discipline in increasingly dynamic, creativity-oriented, and technology-driven work environments. This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership and work discipline on employee performance at CV. Queensha Media Group and examine their explanatory power within the context of the digital marketing industry. This research employed a quantitative associative approach using a saturated sampling technique involving all 120 employees, while data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The measurement model demonstrated satisfactory validity and reliability, whereas the structural model produced a substantial explanatory power (R² = 0.819). The findings reveal that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (β = 0.512; t = 5.728; p < 0.001), followed by work discipline (β = 0.461; t = 5.063; p < 0.001), indicating that transformational leadership is the more dominant determinant. These findings suggest that inspirational leadership is particularly effective in project-based, collaborative, and innovation-driven digital marketing organizations, while work discipline supports operational consistency through timely task completion and accountability. The study extends the empirical application of Human Resource Management theory by confirming the complementary roles of motivational leadership and behavioral control in enhancing employee performance and provides practical implications for strengthening leadership development, adaptive work discipline, and project management practices to improve organizational competitiveness in the digital marketing industry.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Consumer Reviews, Discounts, Payments via Digital Banking, and Peer Influence on Purchasing Decisions of FEBI UIN Sumatera Utara students on the Shopee platform. The study used a quantitative approach with the SEM-PLS method through SmartPLS 4 and data obtained from distributing questionnaires to 100 students of the class of 2022. The results showed that all variables had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, both partially and simultaneously, with an R-Square value of 0.809. Payments via Digital Banking were the most dominant factor, followed by Consumer Reviews, Peer Influence, and Discounts. These findings indicate that students' online shopping decisions are influenced by a combination of informational, economic, technological, and social factors within the e-commerce ecosystem

Abstract

Interest rate policy plays an important role in influencing financial risk and bank performance, especially in emerging economies with high economic volatility. The objective of this research is to study how interest rate policy, credit risk, liquidity risk, and bank performance interact with each other in a complex way. This is done by considering both internal and external variables. This research analyzes literature from a number of international empirical studies focusing on developing and developed countries. The data is analyzed to find patterns and relationships between interest rate policy and bank financial risk. The results show that lower interest rates increase credit risk through aggressive loan expansion and lower credit standards. Declining interest rates also increase liquidity risk as depositors' incentives are reduced. In addition, it was found that good capital structure and governance can mitigate the negative effects of interest rate fluctuations on bank performance. This research strengthens the theoretical basis on the role of monetary policy in the banking industry and emphasizes macroprudential regulation and adaptive risk management strategies. Further research is suggested to include negative interest rate policies or global financial markets, but practical implications include the need for policies that support financial stability amid low interest rate challenges.

Abstract

This research investigates the determinants of Financial Performance in District/City Governments in West Java (2021-2024). Using Institutional Theory and a quantitative approach, the study analyzes 99 observations from audited Budget Realization Reports (LRA). The regression model is highly robust 96.7% is the coefficient of determination (R). The results reveal that Locally-Owned Revenue (PAD) has a positive and significant effect and serves as the primary driver of execution. Conversely, Capital Expenditure and Personnel Expenditure exert significant negative pressure, reflecting fiscal rigidities and high maintenance burdens. While PAD is a component of the autonomy ratio, its positive impact reflects genuine managerial capacity in internalizing decentralization pressures. The study recommends prioritizing PAD digitalization and conducting rigorous spending reviews to enhance fiscal efficiency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of social media advertising content on the number of Direct Message (DM) leads for Edspert's Excel training product, as well as coordination between the Marketing and Sales teams in approving incoming leads. The research was conducted during an internship program at PT Widya Kreasi Bangsa, an EdTech company specializing in professional competency development through the Edspert.id platform. The method used was a qualitative case study approach. Data collection was conducted through in-depth semi-structured interviews, observation, and documentation. The interviewees included the Performance and Growth Marketing (PGM) team, Edspert's Business Development & Sales team, and Excel training participants as supporting sources. Data validity was tested using source triangulation. The results revealed two main findings. First, the social media advertising content used by Edspert was not fully optimal in encouraging audiences to engage with Direct Messages. This was due to the lack of differentiation in content types tailored to the characteristics of each platform, a content strategy that was not fully relevant to the target audience segment, and limited human resources within the PGM team. Second, there are still gaps in coordination between the Marketing and Sales teams, particularly in the delivery of campaign information, which is not always fully conveyed to the Sales team, leading to miscommunication that impacts lead follow-up. Nevertheless, the overall lead handling process is quite structured, and the quality of incoming leads is considered quite good. This study recommends that Edspert differentiate content based on platform and audience segment, strengthen cross-divisional coordination, and ensure information alignment between the Marketing and Sales teams to improve the effectiveness of digital campaigns and the conversion of leads into training participants.

Abstract

This study focuses on batik SMEs in Surakarta, particularly in Laweyan and Kauman, which have adopted sustainable production practices using natural dyes and environmentally friendly materials (Wasita, 2025). However, it remains unclear whether these sustainability values have been fully reflected in employees’ green behavior, even though the success of sustainability policies depends on how well individuals internalize and apply such values in their daily work activities. This study aims to analyze the influence how Green Human Resource Management, Green Work Engagement, and Ethical Leadership can encourage the consistent emergence of Green Behavior among SME actors, in order to bridge the gap between awareness and concrete actions in supporting sustainability. Data collection in this study was conducted through questionnaires, which are instruments consisting of a systematically and clearly designed list of written questions prepared by the researcher to be answered by the respondents. The results revealed that all the hypothesis testing in the research model, when Batik SMEs seek to improve their employees’ green behavior whether formal (in-role), voluntary (extra-role), or innovative (green innovative work behavior) this can be achieved by strengthening ethical leadership, optimizing Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) practices, and enhancing employees’ green work engagement. These findings are demonstrated by the fact that Ethical Leadership, Green Human Resource Management, and Green Work Engagement predominantly have positive and significant effects on various dimensions of employees’ green behavior within the Batik SME environment.
